Your DPD

I expected a text to let me know my parcel was ready to collect ... I got an email which requires an Internet connection, the shop was closed when I saw my email. Also once initially downloaded, my parcel details should be available offline, but instead I needed to use my dwindling 4g allowance to load the info again!?!? Please Text in future and set up an offline function then it will be worthy of 5 stars!?!

After a false start it starts to make sense! It appears you can't set it up until you have been notified that a parcel is on its way. Easy to setup, loads of delivery options and you can change your mind for each delivery. This should make life easier.

Completely terrible, told me my parcel was ready for collection from the dpd depot. Drove 20 miles to collect it only to be told that the driver was running 1.5 hrs late. I was told "I can wait, but there is no guarantee that I would get my parcel and no alternative was offered!! Also, all I get from this app either on 4g or Wi-Fi is "Just a moment...connection slower than usual" Avoid!

Wouldn't go past entering my number stage even though my details are correct and now App won't even open to let me get into that bit! So how the hell am I meant to send a safe place fir today!?!

Disappointing. Have used this app on an iPhone & it was brilliant, really useful features & up to date notifications of my parcel & when it would be arriving etc. No issues with it all. However now that I'm on android I can't even set it up. It won't send a verification code as it keeps saying my number is incorrect (it's not!).

Great App Easy to follow delivery with updates along the way. hour slot clearly sted with choice to change delivery if inconvient and even offered to leave with designated neighbour or pick up from collect plus store of your choosing. 10/10 highly recommended.

Would be good if it worked. The app itself is fine but I'd set up my delivery options long in advance of my order and the driver did not respect it. Whether the fault is the app or DPD is hard to say but I'm betting on DPD based on how bad of a company they are.

Stayed in for confirmed delivery 1.15 - 2.15 on 29/04, and someone stayed in all afternoon. No parcel delivered. No apology from DPD. No contact from them. No way to find out what happened. As a 'google user' said, 'great idea but it doesn't work'. It tells you what should be happening to your parcel, not what is actually happening. As such, the app is useless. We'll see if DPD manage to deliver on the new date/time.

Great idea- but it doesn't work! It tells you what SHOULD have happened to your parcel, not what has actually happened. According to the app, my parcel arrived at the Croydon depot last night and was out for delivery at 10am, ready to be collected after 12pm today. In fact, my parcel won't be delivered until tomorrow because it missed the cut off and was never loaded onto the lorry last night! The app made it look as though the delivery date was changed at my request, which it wasn't. I only found this out by calling the helpline and speaking to someone. In summary, the app basically lies if something goes awry with your delivery.

Able to see who your driver is and where he is on his run and an estimate of how far away they are. 1 hour time window is supplied in the morning delivery is due so you are able to go about your day and be back in time. I cant fault DPD at all. The are great at what they do and this app helps me keep track.

Great App for tracking parcels, send photo to you of address tried to deliver too! Wud ave given full marks only the pic sent wasn't my building n chat crashes when trying to sort it, phone connection good they know who talking to without having to go through your details, saving time just need to sort out communications with drivers and deliver to correct addresses which they do sometimes manage!

Was ok when I first installed it about 6 months ago. But recently I started to get an error every time I received a notification and tried to access my account. Uninstalled and started again but same issue. It just says A PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED and won't let me into account. Today it didn't notify me of the delivery time for my parcel but did tell me it had been delivered. YEAH I know it was delivered. It would have been more helpful to know it was due before I got in the shower!!!

Won't set up. Tells me I have no neighbours (I'll let them know. ..) then won't allow a pick up alternative to be entered. Tries to be a bit too clever and fails miserably. Uninstalled.

Pointless - since the update, every time I launch the app, I get the message that there's a problem and please retry. When you retry, the same message appears, ad infinitum. Shame - used to be great.

App won't even start up just pops up "connection is slower than normal" then "sorry please try again!!!! Been trying to track my parcel all Morning, totally useless. Use YODEL YODEL YODEL

Maybe a good app, but because I have no local drop off point nearby, the app won't allow me to set it up! So, entirely useless.

I couldn't even set it up: despite DPD delivering to my house quite happily, the app doesn't list my house number as an option. It's totally useless to me!

Very simple to use. Chat function very quick to engage. When delivery slot is missed update needs to state slight delay and not a slot from 0600 to 2200. Can freak you out.

New build home i put eh477rg it comes up with house no 85 and when i try to put my no. in as 11 it wont accept and at the minute i am expecting a delivery up until 10 you should have better times than between 6am and 10 pm

The app says my phone number is invalid.. erm, I think I know my phone number!

This app is excellent. I made the initial mistake of thinking it was rubbish and didn’t work because I couldn't set it up. Turns out you have to have a delivery on its way before you can start using the app. Once that happens it’s amazing. The DPD tracking was already great, where you can see the van approaching your address on the map, but the customer support via the app is brilliant. My delivery driver accidentally went to the wrong address, I got a notification to say the parcel was delivered but I didn’t have it so I hit the “call” button. This lets you jump the call queue at DPD. I went straight through to a very helpful chap who had all my delivery details on the screen when he picked up the phone. He called the delivery driver who went straight back, picked up my parcel and brought it to the right address in less than 10 minutes. Excellent app and service.

Unable to use it as it continually asks for my mobile number and then says it is incorrect. Have verified the number associated with my order is correct but it still not working.

Fantastic. Kept logged in and advised me exactly of when my parcel was going to be delivered. Could work upstairs in house until driver was on my delivery. Within 10 minutes had my parcel in hand. Saves so much time!

app keeps saying connection slower than usual.keeps saying my mobile no is not valid took 10 trys to finally set it up .too many glitches should not release an app jnless its working!!

Brilliant app. Simple easy and to the point. Very quick to get updates on the delivery. I signed for a parcel 2 mins later got a notification saying it had been delivered to me.

Biggest pile of shite ever. Literally hated it, can't get past my mobile number and email page, I have 13 verification codes for an app I can't get into. Got some serious issues this app.

Connection errors, removed safe place for parcel option, can't even track my parcel online. Terrible

Useless - if your email / mobile was not put in by sender (for example seller on eBay in my case) then item cannot be tracked - the app should allow manual input of tracking number - really not difficult in this day and age to add this provision in app

Connection error. All this app does is tell me that "the connection is slower than usual" or "there is a connection error". Pretty much a complete waste of time.

Looks OK but why does every app require a phenomenal level of permissions? I want to know where my parcel is. Where I myself am is non of its business and not relevant to its function.

Absolute rubbish. Always thinks there's no connection even when you're on wifi and every other app has no problems. Im guessing a problem at the server end.

Entered all my details, got to the very last page which is the pick up shop location page and there are none I'm my area, but because I could not select a shop the app wouldn't let me click next and save my other settings. Uninstalled

Terrible. It wont even let me sign in. It tells me my number is invalid when I know that it perfectly well isnt.

Installed this app as I have an Important Portent delivery on the way. After going through all verification etc, it tells me I have no deliveries, if I understand correctly it uses my mobile number and email to find any deliveries pending/en route. The seller that posted my item does not have or requested these details from me... Why is there no option to input trading number. If I go to your website I can see my parcel is on its way, but was hoping the app would show approximate location and ETA. Quite disappointing.

Rubbish. No different from checking it by email it doesnt tell you when the driver is coming, so still waiting around.

This app is really helpful in tracking deliveries and was easy to set up preferred neighbours/safe place. One feature I would like to see added is to be able to track parcels where the retailer/sender hasn't provided your details.

Opened the app and constantly getting an message saying error logging you in, before I get the chance to submit any information

Doesn't recognise my mobile number! Standard number entered correctly.

Can't find any neighbours setting up account, can't connect to any shops then after all that the app won't even open

Brilliant. App work great for me. I was able to see exactly where my order was enabling me to nip out and be back just in time for delivery. Very accurate. Is also like to give credit where credit due I ordered some products from overclocker at 4.45pm Friday and received 9.30am Saturday . Hats off to both DPD & overclockers for such awesome service.
