Downtyme allows you to match schedules and make plans with nearby friends. It’s the fastest, most convenient way to get together with friends in your free time.
Here’s how it works:
1) Sync your calendar or enter your typical weekly schedule. Downtyme only uses your availability and your schedule is never shared directly with anyone, so your privacy is maintained.
2) Select a time & Downtyme shows you which friends are mutually available, sorted by location and relationship to you.
3) Tap on the friends (or groups) that you’d like to hang out with, and they’ll be notified instantly. Specify details like where you'd like to meet up and what you’d like to do.
4) View your upcoming plans and instantly message with plan-goers to work out the remaining details.
If you’re feeling that Downtyme is too effective for bringing people together and you need some alone time, just flip the “Hidden” switch and become invisible.

Have looked over for an app. . To simplify makeing plans with friends. . Only this app worked UI is not to difficult to learn. . Can be simplified but over all a great app. . .makeing all my friends download it. . Syncs great with gmail. . .thank you for this amazing APP

Okay concept but the UI is nothing to be proud of. Developer shows little to no respect for the Android design best practices and guidelines. Font in the nav bar is way too big and the icons need padding. Some UX elements are confusing, for example how do I know if calendar sync is on or off? Why is there no swipe navigation? If you are going to make an android app then please make an android app.

Very handy when you have time to kill and wanna meet up with a friend. Syncs with calendar so everyone knows when you're free

Clicking on a time to create a busy block doesn't seem to work on my or my friend's phone. (One of the many things that works on the iPhone that doesn't work on an Android)

Always had issues finding friends for lunch or study-breaks in between lectures and works. Figuring out how my schedule played into my friends' schedules was too much brain work, and this is the perfect automatic solution. A time-saver that prevents me from being alone too often!

I downloaded this, and when I login, it just says I'm logged in and there is literally no functionality.
