No live mixing on Android app? Lol, is this a joke? Definitely wouldn't have preordered had I known this would be the case. Will change my review if it ever comes out. $299 for headphones that don't stay paired, desperately waiting on a firmware update. Headphones are worthless until then. Back to my beats for now. Was hyped for these, thoroughly disappointed.

Was disappointed by the failure to include the live mix option that was present on my earlier version pair. That functionality is available on iOS, and was promised to Android users for March, but still no sight of it on the horizon in April.

Too many bugs to list. How about just fixing the pairing issues... How can you ship a Bluetooth product that can't even pair consistently? Then I check your release notes and find you have added filters for the NYC subway; hard to get excited about this when I'm in South Texas and can't even pair without reinitializing every time i want to use your product. I recently sold a software company I owned for 30 years, my advice to you is... Number 1, fix bugs. 2, add features you promised before you released your product. 3 don't add any new features until you have completed 1 and 2...that just makes people angry... Reaching out to all of your customers with an apology is also something I highly recommend!

Very disappointed. Battery life was supposed to be 2 hours. Getting about 1 hour and 20 min. I bought these for the gym and they are useless for that. 2 hours was OK... Not 1:20. Connectivity issues... I go to Google play and back to here one and it has to reconnect to the ear buds every time. Music continues to play but I lose noise cancellation and can't adjust anything. No equalizer. No custom noise reduction profiles. Initial setup was terrible. Wouldn't connect no matter what I did with hard resetting and clearing caches. Finally got it by hitting try again over and over for an hour. Can you add an option to use for music playback only and disable the microphones to improve battery? You guys are being responsive and nice about everything, but it was still 300 bucks out of my pocket that I sort of want back. These have the potential to be freaking amazing. When they work, I absolutely love them. Hopefully you can get battery life to 3 hours with some tweaking and improve the app and connectivity. Add a gym noise profile too, please.

The hardware is great. The main issues I've been facing are the lack of features implemented on Android which I understand is coming soon and an inconsistent Bluetooth connection. The third "here one" connection only shows up once after connecting the earbuds. After that it disappears. The only way to get it back is to completely remove the buds Bluetooth connection and set them up again. This means I have to do that EVERY time I want to listen to music or take a call which clearly is quite inconvenient. Once the features are implemented and the Bluetooth issue is addressed I would have no qualms giving a 5 star review. Any feedback from Doppler Labs would be much appreciated. Edit: the latest update has addressed the pausing issues so I've bumped my rating to to 4 stars.

I've been following these buds for two years now. I think the company and the vision for the buds is right on. The charge on the buds doesn't bother me a bit. I really like the ear tips and it looks very elegant. The charger case and the light on it doesnt make sense to me. If I fully charge it, then open the box and close it, it'll still show me it's charging, why? The pairing to both iPhone and Android is very unstable, much worse on Android. Unfortunately, that's the essence of a Bluetooth headphone and without any other feature is useless. I like the idea of having different noise profiles, but to be honest when trying different profiles in different places, I don't hear any difference in the enhanced results. Controlling the sound around you is a cool idea, but turning it up means hearing lots of noise, and turning it down is the only feature that actually works. If I increase it a bit I start hearing lots of artifacts and noise, I almost never use anything other number but the lowest. Seems unnecessary to have a bar for that, I think an on and off button would do. Though, if you can actually control the volume of the sound that'd be cool. The hearing enhancement doesn't work for me. All I hear is amplified sound and it's not directional. I was really hoping to use this feature, but in practice it didn't work. I hope it's only a software bug. The EQ and reverb features from iPhone work very well. The headset feature is my least favorite. I can't hear anyone on a call and no one can't hear me either. I really do hope you guys get through this, I know it's stressful and I hope you get all the support you need. This is really a great idea, I just think you guys need more time to improve your before releasing more buds. I'm personally really rooting for you guys. You can do it!!!!

OK, so it takes some effort to get the hang of pairing . But it it worth the effort. It has some great features and filters now, and the future roll outs are exciting.

To the hardworking, and dedicated teak at Here: You did a fantastic job on your first production run! The buds are comfortable, the noise cancelling is phenomenal, and the filters are really fun to use. I, like many here am an early adopter and as such I know the "risks" of potential bugs and hickups. The most important thing is the hardware is solid, because the rest is software - and software can be upgraded. Can't wait for the sound profiles on Android!

Don't download the 4/6 update, pairing issues are now worse on Galaxy S6. Android version is pretty bad, and there still are not any equalizing options for music. I feel severely mislead...not what was advertised.

The headphones sound great and the features are excellent. Some initial issues with my Bluetooth (clean out your cache to avoid issues) but after that was sorted out the experience is great. I really enjoy having headphones I can wear at the office since I can still hear with audio pass through. Also the noise canceling works great at the gym.

The buds are great, its just annoying that major features like live mix aren't available for Android yet. Apple users once again get the goods first. If they ever get on a system where both apps are on the same version, I'll def give it 5. I haven't had the same connectivity issues as others have reported. I'm on a Pixel and usually keep my phone in my front pocket.

Shameful and misleading. For some unknown reason the Android implementation is severely truncated compared to the iPhone app. On top of that it makes the occasional click and a slight audio drop. The battery life is also really short. So far I am only getting 1.5 hours. Bring your wired earbuds in a medium to long flight, these won't get you very far. 10/23 - Another S/W update and still no Profile settings for Android. But we got some more lame noise filters. This Company isn't going to last long at this rate.

After a shaky initial setup, the buds pair quicky and automatically with my Nexus 5X. Smart filters work well, especially the subway and Bart filters, they make my train ride into the city much more tolerable. Battery life is only ~1.0-1.5 hours depending on if I'm streaming or just noise filtering which is a little disappointing. I'm looking forward to future updates for longer battery life, more filters, and live mixing. It's important to remember that Bluetooth performance varies from phone to phone, so it may not always be the buds at fault. If having issues ensure the buds are very well charged, clear the apps data and cache, and unpair the buds from Bluetooth settings. Then try connecting fresh and see if it helps!

Serious bugs after delayed launch. After preordering and waiting for this very delayed launch, I am disappointed by the fussy Bluetooth setup and instability with the here one. I am using a Google Pixel XL and have extremely poor connectivity to the ear buds. Losing connection to phone. Reconnecting seems hit or miss. Walking 10 feet away from phone disconnected Bluetooth. The stuttering audio (Google play music) playback. It seems like Google Assistant has serious problems hearing me (unlike my Plantronics Bluetooth) . Finally, the UI/UX design for the app is so poor and please tell me that I will be able to login and register my device via my Google account, since I hate Facebook... Google supports SAML just fine

Poor unstable connectivity with edge 7. Hit or miss reconnecting. Cheap case that doesn't ensure proper seat for charging. Poor battery life despite leaving house fully charged. My gym session lasted 10 minutes despite ensuring buds were fully seated on connectors. No touch control for skipping tracks or adjusting volume. Feels like beta product rushed to market against the even more disappointing Nuheara. Why can't I find a company that does this right? Sad.

I have never been so disappointed by a product in my life. After making multiple requests just to receive the buds and even compromising on my initial color choice, I received the product. Now I am left with earbuds that connect about 30 % of the time (only after deleting the initial sync and starting over) to my Huawei Mate Pro that is missing the live mixing which wa the entire point. Now I have bluetooth earbuds that I can listen to for about an hour and a half unless I put my phone in my pocket or the wind starts to blow, then it's just intolerable.

Great quality sound from the ear buds. Layered listening works well. Definitely a bit deceptive that not all features we included in initial Android release. Looking forward to live mixing...

Initial build is nice, but where did the smart noise filters, live mix and listening profile go like advertised. Hopefully I'm just missing these options. I'll update my review when these are provided. Other than that, good stuff. Noise cancelling is great. Update is really good, just waiting for the live mix and profile. 5 stars awaits!

This is great but for some reason app does not show filters? I'm sure they will be added soon? Anyways good for listening to music and talking in the phone.

It's all very deceptive. Doesn't pair up with Android and very inconsistent. Waiting so long and prepaid based on trust. After down loading the App stopped all together. Did you test this product before releasing it ?
