Here Active Listening for Android
I was a backer of the first generation device. They delivered a dead product, a very expensive paperweight.
The update reset everything. I am now stuck at trying to pair the Here to the app. Can't get past the screen. I have forgotten the device from the Android Bluetooth settings. Original backer.
I can't even get this app to install on my pixel. Incredibly frustrating.
Suddenly after setting my here buds aside for a few months they now refuse to re-pair with my same phone. All the charging and hard resetting of the case etc is not helping solve this problem. Infant mortality? Support@hereplus is telling me I need to purchase a new pair. wtf?
First generation product does not connect. Samsung galaxy 6, Android 7.0.
I can't seem to get my buds paired with my Samsung 7 edge. Rating will improve when I can get them paired.
I can't get these headphones to pair with my AT&T Galaxy S8+
The world makes me sick.such loser freak heads.they simply want u to do exactly what they want nothing more.u can't even get past BUY 299 DOLLARS OR REGISTER TOHAVETHEM SLL YOUR NAME ANGELES ER I O DEATH ON SOMETHING.SCREW U SELFISH LOSERS
My buds no longer pair at all.
A pace of shi...... Can't pair
I practically live with these in my ears...or I did until my husband bought me the new Motorola Z and I had to switch systems. Now, it connects to the buds for 5 seconds, then drops them for 5 seconds, then reconnects for 5 seconds, and then drops them again. It's a continuous cycle. Wash, rinse, repeat. VERY frustrating when you depend on these awesome ear buds to get through the day (I have very sensitive hearing and these suppress noise). Guess I'll have to carry around two phones from now on.
For Android: Won't connect at all. I have an S6 and it's connected once for a second. My girlfriend has it with her iPhone and it works great. Total bummer
Yes, I am another android user who gets the "No Here buds connected". Every 5 seconds! Very disappointing :(
When I first got them they paired effortlessly with my S7 Edge. Ever since the update I can't seem to pair my buds :( 1st gen backer
Same here, first gen backer, buds wont sync. Unusable.
The noise cancelling filters aren't nearly as good as the competition and haven't been improved for a long time.
Very happy with my Here buds for attenuating live music. I was able to comfortably stand a couple feet from the loud speakers at the Metro in Chicago at a very loud show this weekend! (My requests for an improved experience would be to have control of the volume available on my phone's hard volume buttons, moldable ear inserts for a better more comfortable fit, as well as more refined control over the DSP effects!) Overall great product and experience!
Ok so when they work they are amazing. Most off the time I have reset repair and then choose the level and filter for then before they disconnect from my lg g3. If I can choose the right filter then I am golden and they will stay on that setting till I put them back in the case. Then I have to start all over, it is a pita and not really worth what I spent
First one got a bad chopter sound. Got a replacement that work great. I'm still fascinated... Now if I could mix in music from the phone as well they would be the killer buds!!
On my second pair, RMAd the first. Reading reviews here it's clear these things just don't work well with Samsung phones. I've got a Note 4 and the buds connect to my phone but the app constantly says "No Here buds connected." I've factory reset them more than any other product I've ever owned, then sometimes they work for a min. Even factory reset my phone thinking it was the problem. Support has been unhelpful, quoting instructions back to me. Genuinely bummed I'm going to have to return them.
Really cool innovation and exciting to experience it so soon. This tech is perfect for future AR applications. I'm excited for when someone (hopefully you guys) develops a feature that let's you play music on these like normal bluetooth earphones but still have them automatically pause music and increase clarity of voices when it recognizes your voice say "hey / hi" in response to someone who wants to talk to you. If that were possible, I would wear these all the time!
I have the here one buds. If the buds worked I would have loved them. However, the connection is too unstable with my samsung. Hope they have better luck with the next product line.
Still life changing for me, but the high decibel switch keeps turning itself off, and that's my most used setting. The buds themselves disconnect frequently too, even when my phone is right by me. Would also like a dark theme, and to be able to save presets. I hope a smartwatch app for Android will follow soon, too. Galaxy Note 4, Marshmallow
Wore them to a Megadeath Concert. Easily adjusted the EQ to my liking with the Android App. First-time I left a concert in years with no ringing in my ears.
Buds won't work without device, battery hog (requires location services), limited preset controls.
Just what the title says... Exceedingly poor design if, just because you cannot connect to their servers to register, you cannot use the hardware. Fix this!
So i keep gettin emails about the ear buds playing music....and working with iphone 7 but are androids going to be able to play music to or what
There is nothing better then to hear clearly
I've sent an email for feedback and I think I'd post a copy here. I liked my here active so far. I'd like to see some setting for the presets. For example, allowing fine tune on the reverb. As a pianist and a violinist, I like the reverb that gave me a hall like practice experience. However, its a bit too much of reverb, and it created a slight delayed feel. It'd be nice if I can tune it down and make it some more like being the performer than being an audience.
I have the exact same issue with these buds, they don't stay connected at all to my edge plus. After trading a few emails I was offered a refund or to simply wait for a patch, assuming it's even a patchable issue. Super dissatisfied, don't buy these buds if you have a new Samsung Galaxy.
Also have a galaxy edge and buds won't stay connected. Very frustrating. Anyone know if this is gonna be fixed or do I need to return the buds? Seems like they should let you know you can't use these with your Galaxy before you order since this is clearly a known issue at this point.
I wore these to go and see The Sheepdogs in Cardiff last week. Wow! Firstly - no ringing ears - worth the price of the buds on its own. I 'mixed' the sound to my liking and had a great gig. My other half mentioned the vocals were a bit low and muffled throughout - not for me they weren't! A bit uncomfortable by the end, the body stuck into my ears no matter how I tried to adjust them. Worth it though and, if ever I can play music through them and I can get used to them from regular wear, they'll be perfect
The buds drop connection to all of the newer Samsung devices especially the edge plus. This is my second pair there is obviously a compatibility issue that Doppler refuses to acknowledge.
It keeps having connection trouble. Says screen overlay setting when I try to set them up??
They don't work with my galaxy
Just wanna ask this device only for hear sound not to play music or function as a wireless handsfree?
A lot of improvement. Well done. Still strange behavior with display rotation in 5.1.1 + a black theme would be perfect
There is so much more that could be useful such as a personal volume setting for those that have hearing loss. Throttle stops at 5 decibels. Samsung phones have custom hearing settings for the hearing impaired that do more than than this ap. They recognize their customers may have certain needs and allow the user to tweak audio according the individuals unique needs. This is a software fix. Fix this and you will get 5 stars every time and much fewer returns. This product needs a better volume control.
In short: volume and EQ enhancements are good, the effects are interesting but aren't deep enough to warrant the price. The device doesn't have a long memory so the reverb/echo only lasts half a second. I was hoping for something a bit more intense and was disappointed.

This still hasn't connected to my phone in over a year. No matter what I try, it looks like I threw away my money. Too bad I don't have an iphone. Apparently that's they only phone that matters to these developers.
