Doorstep Delivery

1st delivery was a nightmare. Waited 80 mins for food, called customer service and was informed they were busy and had not even picked up my food yet. 2 hours after order my food showed up and it was bone cold. Called customer service and was told I was receive a full refund. Check bank next day and they had only partially refunded. Called customer service again and the line got "disconnected". I will never be using this service again and don't recommend anyone else use it.

The app will not let me get past the adding the app update to the cart to actually view the restaurants... I have already updated the app. Ridiculous.

If it would work more than once in a blue moon then it would be great but most of the time it tells me my zip code is invalid or that it's a bad request

I've been using this app for a while. Sometimes the closing times are inconsistent, but that's my only real gripe. The rating would be higher if more restaurants were available in Indianapolis. I live in a city with lots of options and most other delivery services put the selection on this app to shame; however, Doorstep is the only one who allows cash transactions and that is why I continue to remain loyal. One other small anoyance worth noting is the unusual way that tax is calculated. Instead of paying the proper total (tax included) on the food, tax is taken after the delivery and other fees are tacked on. I'm unaware if that is what's necessary in legal fine print, but it seems that 9.5% tax on my food order is outrageously high?

This app only shows 1 restaurant that is over 40 minutes away. Guess if you like that restaurant then it's a great app.

My gripe is that when they're way over estimated delivery time there is no call from the delivery driver. I'm just sitting here waiting not sure if it's going to be another quarter, half, or full hour until delivery

This is the second time I've had this app downloaded where it's caused my phone to freeze up, not work, and make my phone just act strange. Second time it's been removed from my phone and will not be added back in the future. All future orders will be done through a computer online. Waste!!

I've used this app a few times and every time we wait an hour and a half for cold food, and usually the order is wrong. Not worth it.

Doesn't work. Won't accept address.

This app needs to be able to add new addresses. It will not allow you to add a new address with a new zip code like for work or school.... sooo hungry, and now have to drive to the restaurant.... What's the point?? (Updated review) Thank you for actually listening to the reviews!!! This app now allows for new addresses to be added to your profile and is TOP NOTCH!!! (If only we can reply to our own reviews, instead of adding to the original review.

I love DSD! Before, the only options for anyone were either pizza or Chinese. But DSD has so many places to choose from! If you want Thai, Mexican, Greek, Sushi, or even Indian food! I used to order from my desktop but then I found out there's an app! Such an innovative idea! Thanks DSD!

Delivery fees are way too much, even the restaurants don't charge themselves. In order to compete you really need to reduce the delivery fees as a $20 food order goes to $32 with fees tax n tip and no one would like to pay this big price difference.

Everytime I have tried to use the app over the last few months I am greeted with an error every time I try to order. Absolutely pathetic.

I did my order on the website and then tried the app. The totals were way off and makes the company seem super sketchy!

App stopped working. Wont let me place any order, just goes back to home

It keeps saying bad request and closes out. Website takes 10mins to load one page. Worst service ever.

They didn't bring the drink from their store and they said they would credit it but they never did and still owe me 3 dollars. Principle is poor for this company, it is on a path for failure. Welcome to America.

Kept getting error when trying to order, called rep they said they don't know how to assist and to call my cable company to make sure the internet is working lol wow

Can't find restaurants in my area even though the businesses say they are with Doorstep

Used this service in the past and it's great. But the app is not functional. Doesn't load anything and can't find restaurants I know are available.

Everytime I have ordered through this company, the delivery has been late and my food has been cold. Am deleting and will not be using this company again.

Everytime when trying to order one item it shows four of that item in the cart or try to order two of something it only shows one....does this for all the restaurants....very aggravating...annoyed and done...had a whole meal planned go to check out and only two of the items were there of the six...over it

The people are rude and the driver's are late the food is cold by the time they get here

I am extremely unhappy with my service tonight. I ordered my food at 730pm with a delivery time of 8:50pm. HE JUST SHOWED YUP!. 10:00PM that's ridiculous! And then on top of that the food is cold and not one of the sauces I asked for. Sour cream and bbq sauce was in the bag. No apology or even acknowledgement for being late. I get that it is busy but this is unacceptable

Prompt delivery and good customer service, but the app itself is a little buggy still. Hoping that it will improve.

Somtimes the menus are a little derpy but makes ordering in easy.

I used to order from these guys a lot. Then they merged with anothrt company and no longer deliver to my address. I would give them 4 stars, but I can't use the service anymore. Thumbsdown. (edit) The company they merged with is called bitesquad so they suck too. Here is a nice marketing slogan for the merger taken from their website: "Doorstep Delivery, powered by Bite Squad. Same Doorstep Delivery, faster service." LMFTFY "Limited Delivery Range, faster service." More accurate.

Just installed it, but when I try to order anything it tells me all options must be selected when I can't keep scrolling. How am I supposed to order when it won't let me select the rest of my order. I'll just have to stick to DoorDash

The menu selector frequently insists that all options must be filled out even when no further options exist. Pretty much makes ordering en route home impossible.

I got home from a long flight and too tired to cook, I got super pumped when I saw that one of my faves had this on the site to order del., so I downloaded it, payed my order and waited, and waited, and waited. Did I mention I was already hungry when I placed my order? So when they didn't come 10 mins after the suggested time I called the company and waited a good five mins and when it said I was next to be helped it hung up, 4 times! I never received my food and ended up ordering from another service.

This app kept pooping up in my notifications like it was a new improved food service app so i downloaded it and when i put my zip code in it said it doesnt service my area....im in charlotte nc near UNCC ....im deleting this app asap such a waste of time

Maintained my saved addresses from the website, and that's the only good thing. Refuses to load restaurant list.

didnt load a list of places that deliver or accept my search. uninstalled and a waste of time

Had a great experience. Ordered lunch for my whole crew and ALL of the food was correct, on time, hot, and the delivery driver was extremely nice! And to make it better I asked for a specific delivery time to match my crews lunch break...they were able to deliver all of it, correct, on time, and in a small window of time. It was so worth it!!!!!!

When the app works it's ok . The menu list never wants to load and more times than not, they have to cancel my order because of drivers . Let's get it togther Doorstep !

I live in the Eastside of Jacksonville FL usually I can only get chinese food & pizza because everyone else refuses service. I got Half pound burgers & etc, on time!

Delivery drivers not always the best

Ne n my bf love doorstep delivery. We always get what we want and love the food either way!!!!

Needs to add more zip codes to deliver too please

It's a good app for the busy and lazy which I am both at times
