flavourit - my cookbook for Android
Nice looking app but unusable for Hungarian. Diacritics are not supported. Please upgrade the font (which is beautiful, by the way)
My mother is german, so I may partial to the design : ) But also SO practical and easy to use. And great that I can back up my recipes. I only wish I could share via email bc I don't use facebook. Still great though!
One of the most beautiful, user-friendly app I've never seen. Well done and keep up the great work!!! I would like to have it also on my PC...
Very helpfull and easy to use.
Okay I see this as a great place to save and modify recipes I find online. So I have input my first recipe and when it comes to "Method" I can only see one small paragraph (of three) once saved. So its pretty useless. I would like to see better formatting options for the 'Method'. Another thing I would like to see is the ability to input the nutritional info (if known).
i love this app. they provide a great tutorial. i just hope that there will be a way to rearrange the ingredients.
The Overall concept is great. It IS very pretty and makes great looking recipes... BUT... The UI is clunky - and it's quite slow. It freezes and crashes constantly. My whole phone died. I created a recipe. Saved it. Updated it and the whole app hung - including deleting my recipe from the first save. "Save" only has one job. It needs a better flow to allow you to enter and update recipes easily over time. Whether its because you don't have the 20 minutes required to input the whole thing the first time. Or because you refined the recipe after 3 weeks. I guess I need to enter a recipe. Save it. Back up the program to dropbox. re edit. re save. re back up. then share.... And all the while pray it doesn't crash and delete your stuff... You can see why this really pretty app and great idea needs help. Go for it doorfortyfour - you can do it!
The app is too laggy and busy to be useful. The UX and usability need to be addressed (why use tiny scrolling elements when you could use a large dial?). If importing recipes, it also assumes you're getting them from Facebook.
Hands down, the most elegant and practical to use recipe app... far superior to BigOven and Mastercook in terms of its UI. However, this app lacks everything we've come to expect from a recipe manager: import from web sites and Mastercook libraries, menu and meal planning, nutrition analysis, substitutions and scaling, to mention just a few. I hope the developer continues working on this app. It has a lot of promise, but is far from where it needs to be.
One of the most intuitive apps that I ever saw.
Interesting and simple.. :)
Hmm. A quick look at the Android design guidelines would probably make you realise that this app will be really confusing to pretty much all the users. I can't understand anything about this UI :-(
