Messier Catalog - Astronomical for Android
Excellent app. Would have gone 5• if it did not have adverts. One review I read did claim it to be ad free but it is not on my nexus. Only a minor gripe really as the app itself is very good for amateurs like me. Useful information, clearly given. Big thumbs up.
nice app but night vision locks up screen on a Galaxy Note 4
Need Night mood view.. Its important option at night.. Thanks
And this is no exception. Make more astronomy apps! :)
I pay $1 to remove them
Amateur Astronomer for 32yrs, great 4 quick reference.
Thanks for the app
Messier Catalog
Superb
To monetize an astronomy app with bright flashing ads is idiotic and makes it worse then useless. If you turn on night mode you expect to be able to use it at night...... While observing...... But if you do, say goodbye to your night vision! This is the kind of app that should have an ad-free version. It would be worth paying for, but as-is it's worthless.

Get rid of all white blank backgrounds in between . It is annoying to use it with at night.. the developer apparently never own a telescope ! He is clueless !
This has got to be the best deep sky reference library anywhere, thanks!

Thanks for the app
I'm loving it so much
Superb
Messer sky map

Great app but, why does the picture for M37 look like it has a sheet of paper covering most of the image? Is this happening to anyone else?
Very handy reference
Very informative and easy to use a good researxh tool for budding AA
Why black and white only
Awesome this great app
Detailed and very useful.
Great app!!! Very awseme app
English very poor and this spoils a potentially good app for English speakers. Also there is no zoom available on the location map which would be a good idea.
Cool stuff
Adding mobile sensor for locating the object would be a great addition to have :)
Zoom inexistant on maps

This program isn't just another list with photos program. The photos are good but realistic. The finder charts are good. It is quick, simple to use, and to the point. Just what I needed.
Need Night mood view.. Its important option at night.. Thanks
This application demonstrates tremendous functionality, delivering the desired information about each and every one of the 110 Messier Objects compiled by Charles Messier in an undeniably efficient and consistent manner. There appeared to be a small fragment of information missing for some of the objects, but overall, the application delivers effectively. The inclusion of high resolution pictures is a nice addition. The only bothersome aspect of the application is the advertisement toolbar.
Ok for curious people but not good for serious guy's. Very First mistake I noticed was in very first object. That was in M1 in info it's shown that it's in cassopia but actually it's in Taurus. Even the finder charts are very basic. Not useful for star hopping. Also not zoomable.
Nice, but obviously designed for a phone. Can we update to display on a tablet in landscape? Text can be displayed alongside images instead of under.
Love it

NICE APP, BUT OMG, IT'S VERY BRIGHT AND SERIOUSLY NEEDS NIGHT MODE ASAP!!! APP HAS TINY IMAGES WHICH ARE NOT ZOOMABLE (TOTALY SUCKS! AND OF COURSE THEY ARE B&W (WHICH YOUR EYES WILL SEE IF YOU HAVE A MONSTER 3 METER SCOPE... COLOR WOULD BE A NICE UPDATE/UPGRADE... A GPS OR GEO-LOC WOULD BE A NICE UPGRADE SO WE CAN CLICK ON THE OBJECT IN THE CATALOG AND THE APP WILL MOVE AROUND TO HELP US FIND IT, KIND OF LIKE A POINTER.
