I was under the impression I wasnt going to be tracked or anything similar, unfortunately this app requires access to your Location and Media files... In fact, all this really is is just a light weight version of the original Dolphin as all this does is automatically delete your "traces" (which can easily be enabled in regular Dolphin browser) and actually has no options to set. So if anything, this version is worse than the original. Go figure; Capitalism folks

Whenever there is a pop-up it does not open on a new tab and therefore you're forced to click back to go to the webpage you were visiting, however, many pop-ups do not allow going back and refresh themselves leaving you in a dead end alley. It's no good, uninstalling it.

M70%
by M####:

As others have said, shredding is flawed. After exiting the app, the content of the last visited website can still be seen when using androids "recents" function. Opening the app by clicking this preview will apparently even load the supposedly shredded website!!!

by Q####:

Really? A bug already? I went to type in google. Oh i got to the page alright just accidently clicked on the wrong one(not the actual search page) i ended up on their wiki site. The problem? When Trying to back out? The page wouldn't stop reloading and kept me stuck, why? Reminded me of those nasty spam sites when, you're not paying attention and you get stuck on a site and the only way to exit is to reload the entire page.

I really liked this browser for a while but I can't stand it anymore and I will not come back to it until it's fixed. It constantly goes back to the previous page when selecting a link, or instead goes to the link nearby what was selected. Also, gets stuck in loops where it cannot navigate any further through a site. The only way this behavior could be justified is if you advertised this as an alpha version. This browser seems to work well for some, but it's useless garbage to me and a lot of other people

by E####:

Looks ok but I seriously question the validity of this app because they say it's better than in browser. Something I'd expect from those less than trustworthy apps. Better is a very relative term and doesn't belong in a list of features. Showing a comparison of the differences to promote it over the other is fine but what's better to one person is worse to another.

My regular dolphin became unusable despite deleting and a redownload . This one works for temporary until I find something else. Miss the first dolphin. I don't think I have the crash report . I deleted reg dolphin and would not know where to find it

When 'shredding' feature is used, application is minimised but not closed. Androids feature to toggle between open applications still shows a preview of the last website viewed to whoever uses the phone next. Be cautious about the privacy feature. OK for lightweight browsing otherwise, but big bug in my view.

Gets coarse and fine location of user. Sorry. Fortunately, it requires very little memory, and can be reinstalled when needed. ——> It does work well, based on limited usage. Temporarily running another app quits what you were running on this, and if you had logged in, logs.you off, which is probably desirable.

by M####:

No popup control at all. Use it to check email, I suppose, but cant surf any sort of site with even mildly agressive ads. Completely shuts down my ability to watch any streaming content since it is incapable of having multiple tabs, meaning that every ad that shows makes the whole stream have to reload from scratch.

I just needed a light browser that gets the job done with no bells and whistles and this browser does just that. My phone can run pretty slow at times and chrome took like 5 minutes to run a Google search. This takes a second. Opens right up and loads pages lightning fast.

M70%
by M####:

Duckduckgo search engine really? And it is set as default each time you start the app. I hate this. It cannot open links in new tab. And when I want to seaech by a selected word it opens google voice search. I installed it because it is lightweight but uninstalled it after.

I really like this browser it reminds me dolphin in the early days, fast and light. The only critiques are 1: TABS WTF MAN. I also have to agree with the fellow who said "Why the hell do you have a button on the top left, to ask if you want the full dolphin browser... Really that's just silly. Also why no settings? Mini has settings so what's up with that. I'm tempted to deconstruct the app and mod it, I'll send you folks the results. Aside of that hands down my favorite browser. for now jk still 5 Stars!

Nexus 6P here. Full UserAgent, including phone model/version and screen size, is shared with sites. No option to disable this. Even the full Dolphin browser does not share screen size and allows you to set UserAgent.

M70%
by M####:

Cell phones build up cookies, temp files and other nonsense. This browser eliminates that, saves you space and is a good browser. A little more color, like the regular dolphin app, would be a big Improvement.

N70%
by N####:

I use this on my old Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 2, which I've modified to be essentially just an audiobook reader & music player. When I do occasionally browse the web with it, I want an ultra small browser with no persistent data or cache. I like this version of Dolphin for that. People who complain about the incognito feature & expect it to hide them on the web don't understand what incognito browsing is: it's only for erasing your traces on your own device. It does nothing to hide you from the ISP or others.

by M####:

So its slow always gets stuck inbreload loops, i cant download anything (load loop) and theres basically no settings you can change well.. That make any bit of a difference. Please go back to the drawing board or just finish what was started (oh yeah also no tabs or multiple windows)

Uninstalled Firefox because it continually froze,no issue with this browser. The only problem is I can't bookmark or install the Startpage,Ixguick,or EncryptedGoogle search engines.

M70%

I can use this browser to read articles where they count the number of times I've done so before blocking me. They don't know how many times I have visited.

S70%
by S####:

1. You can not long tap to open new tabs (wtf, it's 2016). 2. It keeps refreshing the page, going a page or two back while I'm reading stuff. 3. It always tells me to install Dolphin (which I previously had, switched to zero for privacy ). Due to all those issues, I am uninstalling all dolphin apps from all my devices and moving on to another developer. A browser should be a tool, not something to make anger management harder. Have a good day.

When google asked for my location and I was able to refuse giving it to them I knew this app was for me. My private business is my own and no bodies business but my own, get corporate perverts off your back, down load this app.

Super buggy, no tabs, links on search results take you back to the previous page, wtf? Plus, no tabs? Serioudly, total crap, uninstalling. On the plus side, it is fast.

I love duckduckgo and have been using for a couple years now and I don't get as much spam...Google tracks you and spams you...I was thrilled to find this browser for my phone...Way better than F***ing chrome!!! I hate Google for tracking!!!!

OMG! I've tried all the browsers for Android and this and my stock browser are the only ones that scroll smoothly! I nearly lost hope for my phone till this one came along!

M70%

Absolutely retarded. Forces you to go through a ridiculous "shredding documents" animation every time you try to exit it. Yet, when you restart the app, it opens up the last page you were on every time. I mean, LOL

Secure https. TLS1.2. No offendable Protocol Insecurities. 3DES is to be retired for clean 128+Bit Support. ⚠: Full Active (non-interactive) Functional Content Support. This MAY impose Problems for the Browser and the Device. (Passive Support would be better).

I want to move away from Google anything...that said chrome is running with this in the background. So not happy. Still looking to see if it's my device or this browser. Not sure yet. The browser is fast, clean and lite. Just want to ditch Google.

I absolutely love Dolphin. The full app even on my old ZTE Blade, which is a weak little phone, works perfect. For the first time I decided to give a try to this Zero one, not so much for the incognito, but more for the lightweight part. I am pleased greatly, because not only it worked nice on my LG G Pad, but also, unlike the full version, there is no background service on my tablet. The normal one have a background service running from the time you open your device to the time you close it, taking 40MB of ram, but this none. Obviously 40MB for phones that have 2-3GB of ram, is probably nothing, but for devices with 1GB and under, considering 400-600 can go purely to the system, every bit counts. I am expecting to get some sites disliking it, but for it's size, it is worth it. Youtube also plays just fine.

Seems "okay" as a browser. No problems really except it won't allow images to be uploaded for a craigslist ad. Uninstalled because this is a necessity for me. Xperia z3v

Especially when browsing web while indisposed ON TOILET, during bowel movements..... thanks for interrupting my web browsing by rudely intruding and "prompting" me for a review/rating, from within Your browser app.

Its a great browser but when i exit it always shows the install the other dolphin browser can that be removed its common sence that if i wanted the proper dolphin browser i would of installed it and not the zero so please remove the install button but apart from that dolphin zero is awesome!!!

I like the browser because is very light and looks fine but the problem is with the front page; if someone sees that you are surfing in it, automaticly thinks that you are hiding all the secrets of the world

O70%
by O####:

There are two features I don't like. 1. The search engines switch back to default every time I launch the browser. There is no option to change that. 2. Why there is this annoying shreddergif when exiting? It's not necessary for any cause. But nevertheless I like this browser. Good work dolphins!

Very easy to use lite version of Dolphin that takes up virtually no space up on your phone! Search what you need to search, surf on lightening speed, and when your through; press the Dolphin icon and then exit the app! Ba-bam! Everything you saw goes bye-bye. Don't worry mon! Evryting gon be irie, ya hear?! Whatcha waitin fahr? Don't think. Get it!

I download many apps in the past and browsers and downloaders but this is one of my favorites This gray dolphin is another browser that everyone should have for security, privacy:) I guess you could say love its a good helper when it comes to technical support it only has one rival to really contend with :)but I'm not going to say a name seeing that both of them or my favorites.

I don't know what the dolphin team has changed in the rendering engine in tbis browser but this one actually works. The full version has crappy scrolling that lags all the time whereas this one scrolls like butter. If only your full version worked as good as this one.
