Much of our data comes from OpenSecrets which is the nation's premier nonpartisan, independent, and nonprofit research group tracking money in U.S. politics and its effect on elections and public policy.
Dollar Speak uses the data from OpenSecrets and then does it's own research to identify what common household products these donors control ownership in. DollarSpeak is a nonpartisan independent mobile application developer.

This app has a good start. I like the simplicity of looking up a company and seeing top line political party supported. I would like to see a little more detail. There is a dollar value assigned but what does that represent. I would like to see percentage or total amount donated to each party. Also the top few donation recipients. Some apps are over kill on details. It's a balance. One other suggestion, on company lists show icon of political leaning or if equal or very close show that.
