App has a checkbox for GPS location and an option to use zip code instead. Using zip and unchecking location, why does it turn on the GPS every time you launch the program? Are you going to send my phone different Skagit news because my location is different?

Its asking me to turn on my navigation ! What the hell does it need navigation to turn on a news app ? Please someone fix !

Am planning to move to the area in 2016. The info you provide is helping me keep abreast of local concerns. I plan to subscribe for full access.

Very difficult to use. Doesnt let you open stories to read them.

Zero non syndicated news, and despite requiring one to pay to actually get the local content, these guys can't even be bothered to provide a built-in subscribers tool, forces us to a website. Weak.

Basically if you want to read the whole story just Google it instead of being a paid member. Ridiculous to think you should charge for the news when there are so many free sources. Get with the times and make your money elsewhere. Uninstalled.. wasted my time.

Live it

Don't like that now most stories (almost all stories) say they are only available online for paying customers. Might as well just buy the paper and uninstall the app.

The app is through and at the time concise. It contains enough information for a quick read and know what is going on.

It always opens quickly and gives me the top stories when I haven't had time to read the paper.

Better than online, but not much content unless a subscriber.

Local news is limited . No business section.

Helps me keep up with what's going on back home.

Almost no content at this one. Newspapers are not what they used to be.

Update: still has some problems but does load news articles....

Scrolling opens pages without asking. Some content doesn't load. Doapp has yet to make an app that is worth having on your device.

No screen scaling and poor design. Would rather go to webpage on phone.
