Daily Herald -Suburban Chicago for Android
OK app, you get what you pay for, zero. I just keep installing as needed
Stop charging for app
I hav found this app to b a useful source of news for my area. There are a lot of ads that can make it hard to read through all of the stories. But it is free and includes pictures and accessible links.
Pic. Not clear
I am a subscriber, since the latest version the App keeps making me login each morning when I read my first article. Why can't the app retain my credentials?
After the hype for the new e-edition, it turns out that only the IOS version seem to have been updated. Android users must still suffer with the old app. I will continue to download the PDF.
Flashing ads are really annoying. I'm paying for delivery of paper and on line access. Why do I have to be subjected to ads?
Stopped working after the last update deleted it
Update doesn't work with Android.
I like the app and easy to find stories.
Doesn't work correctly with Android after update.
$8/month Bye bye Daily Herald!
Not paying to for a newspaper app. Have other ways to find out the news.
I am so appreciative that the Daily Herald offers this option. I do not have the time or patience to have the daily paper delivered...I do get the Sunday issue delivered. This paper really focuses on the suburban areas. Love this.
Have used this app to read my local newspaper for about 2 years. Would be nice if they had a summary page, by section. Also, I have had a problem where my credentials are deleted, for no apparent reason at all. Other than that, it's a great way to read the newspaper.
The upgrade makes it almost impossible to read the paper on my phone. They need to go back to the old version . I used to be able to open the paper from the email notification then click on an article an read it. Now it is too big on my screen and hard to navigate
I used to love this app but since the update it says I've read my quota of articles so now just have access to the summaries.
new user, do far I'm pleased with app I have been able get what I want
Where are the comics and other items are missing.
Love the easy of use and quick updates
DH is my go to for local, state, and national news every day!
never had an issue opening up the app and reading the paper... but now it tells me that i have read 10 of 10 free stories and to access the full content i have to login.... very disappointed never had to sign up to read the full version before and when i updated the app it never said that it would no longer be available to read for free or that you had to have any type of account to read it... better off buying it from now on.

Like this app. It gives me good info. Seems to open and function well.
Good app, I'm happy that they came out with this.
Great on the go news
The easiest way to stay informed of what's going on in your area.
Ap works as expected.
A good overview of top local stories. Terrific photos. I wish I could a a few more local stories by zip code. This app is immensely better than AP New local!
I'm a Daily Herald subscriber so this app is a great addition to my subscription. I use it every day, works great.

$8/month Bye bye Daily Herald!
App will not load even after installing it several times. The few times I have gotten it to load it doesn't recognize my email address to log in, so either way I am unable to use it.

Sorry not paying for your app. Used the lite version for a long time and was happy with it. Now the lite version gives you the first paragraph and you have to pay for this version to read the whole thing. Uninstalling both versions.

I was using the app all the time. It had ads and you think that'd be enough but now I am uninstalling and using a newspaper app.
