13 abc action news alway's keeps me up to date promptly, thanks to your terrific team.

So called alerts do not open to stories they relate to.

I liked being texted the weather alerts more, but the app (most of the time) does the job well.

Never goes to the top articles when I receive the notifications on my phone plus too many ads.

App no longer works on Android. Need a solution please.

Downloaded two months ago and I am still unable to change the settings and put in my school district for closing and delay notifications

You sent me a notice that you were not going to be texting me with news alerts etc yet I have to say that you're focusing on the wrong issue with the app. I always had the option to turn off the texts but that's not why people are not happy with the app. The biggest problem is that when you send a notice via text or direct from the app it's not linked directly to the story! If I click on the app or text notice I'm taken to the front page of the app and often can't find the story I was notified about!

Why change what was working before? Do not like new format at all!Weather alerts now down to only 3 choices. I travel a lot and had numerous counties selected on old alert list. If this does not improve I will be dropping this site.

I really liked getting the 'Breaking News' alerts on my phone but I strongly DISLIKE that when I tap for the full story it takes me to the general page and I can RARELY find the story(or I have to search for it). I wish it took me directly to the story. When there is a street closing or accident I want it to take me directly to that story. Now there is an ad that pops up before opening the app and I'm just done. Sadly, I've deleted this app and I'm giving Channel 11 a shot.

There is no "alerting" you to anything. No noise or beep. You have to rely on other resources to learn of any delay or closing so this app is worthless.

DO NOT RELY ON 13ABC FOR SCHOOL DELAYS AND CLOSING ALERTS!! They missed another delay today 11/16/16 and today 11/17/16!! That's the fourth time this year! Why change from what was working. By the looks of your reviews you've throughly upset a lot of people. Congrats!!

The alerts I had aren't even options anymore. I loved when I got my text messages with the alerts that I actually selected. I can't even get the sports teams that I want. The fix wasn't a fix. It went backwards!

This app is better than all the weather apps. Others didn't have it for Hudson valley .

I have selected to get daily forecast/weather alerts/notifications, so I'm better able to dress my kids for the day and still don't get the notifications. I used to wake up to a daily forecast/weather text every morning... DO NOT like the app, miss the text alerts. Also, when I get the breaking news notifications and click on the notification, it takes me to the 13ABC page but you can't find the story you were just notified about. I'm extremely disappointed!!!

I use it for the school closings along my commute route to know how bad the weather is. Too bad it limits to 4 school closing alerts.

I get alerts for every traffic situation, but not for school closings or delays.

Everytime you send a text or notice on cell we click it and it never takes you to what you sent. Also I know the news isn't the same all day. Update the sight regularly

Do not like your new app. Whats new is not alwaya better.

Loved this before but your new weather design has completed ruined it. I always checked it every morning for the high temperature which is now gone. I've turned off all notifications yet my phone goes off all the time with something. Each page is now slow to load. Sorry but you've lost me.

The app will send you breaking alerts and when you go to them they are not there. You have to dig and find them out of a notification screen and when you go to the notifications and tap on it doesn't take you to the story it says was breaking. The competitors news app does what it says

The app is all of a sudden showing notifications when I have not opted to see them. I can't get rid of them. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Still showing 3 notifications that I have no clue what they are. Not good for people who are OCD.

Started giving me notifications of what 13abc considers breaking news even though I have notifications turned off. Now there is a number sitting on top of icon. When I go to see the list of notifications it crashes. I will only give it a day to correct and I will uninstall.

App used to work well. However, after recent updates notifications cannot be disabled even if you disable them in the app, weather is often buggy and duplicates everything (7 day forecast will repeat itself making you think you're seeing a 14 day outlook when it is the same 7 days repeated; same thing happens with the hourly forecast). Not sure what went wrong, but hopeful it will be fixed.

Why did they change their system when it worked fine? The new app doesn't have my child's school even listed. Northwood is small, but not small enough not to receive a notification of a delay or closing.

I liked this app before but now with the notifications i click on them and the app comes up but were is the description for the notification id delete it but im a loyal 13abc fan

No more texts about school closings, was made to load this for push notifications. Doesn't work properly for one school, maybe because it says "opening 2 hours late" instead of "delayed 2 hours". News stories are ok, nothing special.

I find it frustrating and time consuming to try and read any actual "news" with this app. At least 3 ads per page, and the stories are broken down to 1 paragraph per"page". I will use to replace the school closings but for a news app.... Thanks but, I'll pass.

Why change what worked I never had any problems getting text messages now I gta open your stupid app and go through every thing just to get the school delays and closings and at 5:30 am I don't care about anything but delays and this morning only thing that had to do with delay of my kids school was the preschool and my kids are way past that age. All you are doing is taking up space on my phone Go back to old way it worked 10 times better at least I got notifications now I get nothing but worthless app

You are only allowed to have 3 counties for weather alerts. I'm a storm chaser and had all of nothwest Ohio on the old system. Hope this is a short term option.

Notifications pop up, but you can only read half of the title and it doesn't even take you to the story! Need to fix this!
