What are users saying about Trees

Lots of issues. Need to be able to search with common names of trees. The filters are odd- I'm sure there are more than 4 species of tree in Ontario. The tree data provided is inconsistent in material and organization, so using it to identify a tree is not possible. Not sure how this could be useful for anyone in the current state.

Pretty good app, feels like the designers made a directory for Wikipedia. Definitely worth pursuing if you have a specific question, not super easy to just browse through though. You have to pay $1.50 in order to have access to all the filters. Would recommend to a friend.

Lots of excellent information, but the interface is overly complex and dated. Also you cannot search issuing common names, only scientific.

Completely useless unless u have WIFI access. Not all trees are trees are listed I was able to find 4 that were not listed found common in the United States. Author needs to do more research on the subject and completely re-write the software to make it more user friendly as well.

Shouldn't I be able to toggle he tween scientific and common names? If I want to see if a tree in my yard is a birch for example, or I just want to read about birch trees, I can't search for "birch". I'd have to leave the app, translate birch into its scientific name, come back and then hopefully remember it. Am I missing something? Why is this rated highly? Just going with the dendrologists niche?

B70%
by B####:

Ridiculous app. Not helpful at all. Too many results, won't show. Add a parameter...POOF! Nothing.

Y70%

Absolute junk. I'm a novice wood collector and know more trees than this app...

It only had 4 kinds of oaks. And they aren't even listed under oak. Who uses scientific names anyways?

If walking around and want to learn about the trees of your surroundings and possible uses, this app is good for that.
