Trees for Android
Pretty good app, feels like the designers made a directory for Wikipedia. Definitely worth pursuing if you have a specific question, not super easy to just browse through though. You have to pay $1.50 in order to have access to all the filters. Would recommend to a friend.
Lots of excellent information, but the interface is overly complex and dated. Also you cannot search issuing common names, only scientific.
Thank you! Now I dont have to take a thick book everywhere I go!
Not a lot of pictures, and the few pictures are from a distance.
Is great for learning . Would like it to have a close up pic of leaf , but other than that is perfect
Trees difficult to recognise on photos
Gotta pay for southwestern US trees
Poor can't get to the common names
Exactly what I was looking for.
Very important app for my study
Tons of info with pics.
Informative.
Completely useless unless u have WIFI access. Not all trees are trees are listed I was able to find 4 that were not listed found common in the United States. Author needs to do more research on the subject and completely re-write the software to make it more user friendly as well.
More New Zealand native trees would be great
Very good apps
Lots of good information on trees!!!
Plant
Unable to search by common name or by features. :(
Love it
Not easy to use search
Doesn't even have dogwoods.
Does not help in idenifiying trees
Only useful if you already know what tree you are looking at

Better brush up on your Latin.
Awesome
Shouldn't I be able to toggle he tween scientific and common names? If I want to see if a tree in my yard is a birch for example, or I just want to read about birch trees, I can't search for "birch". I'd have to leave the app, translate birch into its scientific name, come back and then hopefully remember it. Am I missing something? Why is this rated highly? Just going with the dendrologists niche?
Ridiculous app. Not helpful at all. Too many results, won't show. Add a parameter...POOF! Nothing.
So not at all useful unless you know all the full latin names
Doesn't even have dogwoods.
Very shallow app. Improve it by including more plants.Their clear and deep information. Must be on scientific basis......
Absolute junk. I'm a novice wood collector and know more trees than this app...
It only had 4 kinds of oaks. And they aren't even listed under oak. Who uses scientific names anyways?
If walking around and want to learn about the trees of your surroundings and possible uses, this app is good for that.
Extensive information on selected species, such as Norway Spruce. Was helpful in identification and distinguishing between similar species.
cool
Unable to find anything useful without just clicking down the list until something matched, kinda.
It's honestly god awful it doesn't show any regular common names of trees

Lots of issues. Need to be able to search with common names of trees. The filters are odd- I'm sure there are more than 4 species of tree in Ontario. The tree data provided is inconsistent in material and organization, so using it to identify a tree is not possible. Not sure how this could be useful for anyone in the current state.
