MJpeg Viewer for Android
Used with 'motion' web cam server... Very handy.
Would play blank screen ...no video
Couldn't open a stream due to some specific address. Mjpg viewer did it smoothly.
It works like a charm with my level one ip camera
Great idea, poor implementation. Works untlil you rotate phone, then hangs and uses cpu untill killed from task manager. Uninstall
I've never felt inclined to rate an App before, but this is superb! Simple, working in seconds, so pleased I can see my video stream on the go. And free! Huge thanks x
It has some bugs, and it only stores one URL at a time so there is room for improvement. If you always back out of the video before switching to another app it significantly reduces problems. Bottom line: it works well enough I haven't tried to find something better.
huge thanks, really help me set up my home surveillance using raspberry+motion
Just installed it, can finally view my mjpeg streaming webcam... loaded the stream fine. then two seconds later crashed entire phone, cant press back or anything totally frozen. Stock Nexus 5 not rooted no fancy roms etc. Pressed power button now phone gone totally black had to force shutdown. Tried it again to see if it was a one-off but it's not. Crashed within 4 seconds on second test. Crashes when rotating screen. I'm surprised it didn't crash when i UNINSTALLED IT .
Works great with motion (linux). Would be much better if it supported multiple urls (I have 4 cameras just at one location)
I would pay you for a version which could have several camera URLs saved and wasn't quite so temperamental.
Very light, fast response, good streaming, love it
It never reconnects automatically though
Does what its suppose to do. Very basic.

Very simple to use and clean. Works through firewall port forwarding too!
Lenovo TPT Really handy.... connects directly to the dlink dcs-932l ipcamera. perfectly. If it could be customised for audio from that device I'd rate it 6/5
I use it with linksys IP camera, it's simple and works. Only defect is sometime blacking out.
Works great. I've had it for about 2 months now and haven't had any issues. We use it to view a camera in out baby nursery. Works great!
Work perfect with feeds from my linux motion server and mjpg-streamer feeds. Just needs a feature to save multiple cameras.
It works perfectly, but it's missing some features like being able to save more than one URL.
I was looking for something to view my remote webcam setup. Streaming through a mobile browser isn't possible (or at least very difficult) and this was incredibly easy to setup and use. (I'm also using Tasker to kick off the program combined with motion sensor alerts that get sent to my phone while I'm out.) Is there a way to launch the program and pass in a URL directly? That would be a nice feature. Also the ability to save multiple sites.
Application crashes after 20 seconds of run.
can play a cgi stream from a website... tried dozens, this one works!
I wish it had zoom.
Ubuntu + Motion +Webcam

Does stream, but can be very buggy. Have to open and close the url to get it to load feed a second time. If feed didn't load, sometimes have to end and relaunch the app. Sometimes it hangs and locks up the device. Only way to solve being pulling out the battery.
Typed the correct url and appbjust stops when I go to "show"
A nice though basic viewer app that needs some debugging in its Activity life cycle as crashes on phone rotate and on resume.
This app is a bit buggy. If you use app switching and then switch back you have to close the app and reopen and connect to the stream. Sometimes you press show URL and the app will crash. Needs ability to add multiple cams. Also please make ads load at bottom of screen. When ads load it causes the buttons to move down and then you accidentally press ads when you meant to press show url. I would pay for a premium version as well. Nice work man. Keep it up.
Works until something changes display like switching programmes or screen rotation then phone hangs and has to be power cycled. Needs capability to have more than one URL. (Nexus 4)
Works as advertised. Simple and clean with username and password support. Please add support for saving a list of URLs or a history.
This app works great. Simple, easy to use, and fast. Using DDNS and some port forwarding I can access the Lowe's IRIS camera.
For years I've had an account and have never left negative feed back... this app completely deserves it. CRASHS your phone DO NOT INSTALL!!!! F-----------------------------------------
This app is great for quickly checking your remote MJpeg camera. But for long-term monitoring, IE leaving the app running and sitting on your desk, it just crashes. I don't know why, but on every device I have (Atrix, Xoom, Galaxy S3), this app will just force close after 5 minutes or so of viewing an mjpeg stream. And it doesn't matter whether the mjpeg stream comes from IP Camera, YawCam, or VLC. I'm guessing its a runaway memory leak.
Tip. Open android browser, go to your IP cam web adress , long press on the sceen , view image - enter user and pass - done!
Great app for seeing live webcams. Tested with openwrt on tp-link wr1043nd running mjpg_streamer.
This app works like a charm! Let's me keep keep an eye on my shop!
