Mandelbrot Explorer for Android
Played around with it for a couple minutes since I'm writing my own implementation and wanted to see what other had done. WOW. I wish mine was a hundredth this fast.
It's super fast but has a fairly limited zoom factor, about 10^13, both due to using double-precision instead of arbitrary-precision arithmetic.
This is amazing. Be sure to click the gear icon to see your coordinates.
Great app. Extreme speed. I wish I could rate it 1,000,000★. Now it's the fractal generator I use most. I'm writing my own fractal program at the moment and this goes 500 times faster than mine. I am interested how yours works.
This is a complete app. Works very well with no glitches on my S5.
One of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. Great job!
brilliant app for a phone level, but i wouldve loved it if it zoomed in slowly on automatic, rather than pinching everytime.
Produces great fractals, but when I try to save it, I get an error message. I uninstalled it for this reason.
Very fast, simple to use, code available on github!
I'm sorry... Uninstalling it...
Does all you might expect, works smoothly, no issues so far.
It's a cool app but high resolution image saving would be amazing.
Doesnt do much kinda plain and saves dont work.
Very, very well done! Thank you. Complexity simplified.
It could Definitely be better. But I like it. I hope it improves
Excellent variety of options and ease of control
Cool, best one I've found.
Exactly what I wanted :D

Excellent App
Cool
Beautiful
Superb
Years ago, I dreamed of sliding into a Fractal, as far as one can go - and this app is wonderful way to fulfill that. Thanks for allowing saved images too, along the journey....
Julia mode is crap, and where the hell does it save to?
The new crosshairs are a great touch to the app
The best mandrlbrot/julia set app I've tried, so I'll give it a 5. Works very well. One thing I'd like to see changed is that the save option saves a picture of the mandrlbrot set as shown on screen, but it doesn't seem to have an option to save images of the julia sets.
Navigating is simple with drag and pinch controls. It temporarily drops the resolution when you navigate in order to keep the frame rate silky smooth, but as soon as you let go, it renders up to 2048 iterations per pixel in just a second. The button to show the Julia set toggles a half-screen view of Julia set that is associated with the location on the Mandelbrot set marked with a crosshair. There are a few color schemes available, and an option to save your discoveries as an image. Lots of fractal fun!
Can't save images. I know how to save images, the app just doesn't do it. Nothing there.
Not so deep
Exactly what I was looking for
Quickest
I liked the onscreen renderings , though, but not enough. I like Fractal Scout and Fractal Shot better. This app has a touchscreen and duo screen mirror feature though that I really LOVE! PLS improve your app. It can be better. If you do upgrade , I would love to test it.
Fast and free. Needs more color schemes though.
Nice
nice work
Great coloring, but zoom is jumpy.
Awesome app

This reminds me of the easter egg within the Atari Lynx port of Chip's Challenge, only now I don't have to wait an hour for each image to render. Now that it's real-time, somebody needs to wrap a game idea around it.
