This app works great for viewing MPO images that i took with my old Evo 3d. Also props to the developer for making the code public. As a new cardboard developer, this app served as a usefull learning tool.
I finally found an app that can handle my old mpo file I took with my old Fuji 3D camera.
. . . why are my mpo stills OK, but my videos are laterally compressed? I am shooting on NX-30 camera with 3d lens.
If only it worked on the gear vr it would get an unreserved 5 stars
Squashes 16:9 (HD) photos which is the aspect ratio most 3D photos are taken in these day.
Works an S3
Does what i want it to do
My phone seems to get way too hot after just a few minutes. Is there an alternative or can Google build a less demanding version. My phone does not meet the requirements to take VR pictures with the Cardboard Camera. I take my 3D MPO pictures with my Fuji camera. There is no need to take any environmental issue to account. (Angle of phone etc. ) I just would like a simple cardboard compatible view that demands less resources. Note; My phone has enough power for most tasks. I can run at least two or more apps at once. The only problem would be it gets sluggish. With Cardboard, the internal temperature gets over 60 degrees C. Please help Besides this issue, I'd give this app five stars.
It loads MPOs great, but I can't get the MPOs I've found to display properly. The images criss-cross rather than align. Its as is if the focal center is improperly adjusted.
Worked the first time I installed it and after that forget it, just crashes my phone, also had trouble from the view master being separated too much. Uninstalled and reinstalled but still can't get it to launch.
The app looks promising, but when opening an .mpo, the picture freezes.
Good for children
Awasome
I have several .mpo files from my HTC Evo 3D, and I'm using the ViewMaster VR viewer with my Moto X Pure, but resulting images appear too far apart through the viewer. Is there a way to adjust the convergence distance? Or a recommended viewer QR code I can scan to get it to work? Interface is clean and simple, just trying to make it work for my setup.
Like another poster I have images on an HTC Evo 3D that are just sitting unused. This gives them a new life on Google Cardboard. Even though they're low res and the edges are blurry. Please add mp4 support so I can view 3d videos!
I am now able to show everyone my 3D Photos any where I want for FREE! Only other Viewer I know of that can do this costs $400.00! No need for a 3D TV either...AND it's mobile! I truly thank you for creating this AWESOME App!!!! It is exactly what I needed!
(Edited) I initially had some problems, but the latest version of the app seems to work just fine. As a side note, ensure you've got the right viewer profile loaded for best results.
Unhappy this app won't detect raw or preformatted Ricoh Theta M15 or Theta S images or videos. Uninstalling.
This is just what I was looking for. Thanks! Simple and works.
At last I can view my 3d pics of my camera.
I liked it, plz add browse or open a file option to select/view file from particular location.
