Audyssey MultEQ Editor app for Android
So far the app is useless on my 6P. Besides the random crashes right after I installed the app it always crashes when I try to start mic position 4. It also crashes when your screen goes to sleep so make sure you set your screen to sleep after 10 minutes. I was looking forward to the app and wasn't expecting much but was it expecting it to work on pretty modern hardware.
I had high hopes for this app, especially with it priced at a whopping $20. I updated my receiver to the latest firmware and started calibrating my speakers through the app. During the third listening position, I was told that my receiver lost connection and I had to end the process. I don't know if it's worth attempting again, but so far this app has been a massive disappoint. EDIT: Ran it again and it seemed to work. I'm happy it worked so I'm bumping this up from a 1 star to a 2. The app leaves a lot to be desired for $20.
Good first version, a bit unstable on my Moto G4 Play (Android 6) though. Pushing curves to the receiver is very slow and sometimes crashes. Please fix the crashes and it'll be a clear 5* rating.
For v1.0 if gets more right than it does wrong. Installed perfectly on both a Google Pixel phone and a Samsung Tab 2S tablet and doesn't crash on either.
It's a good start, but has major flaws as of 1.0. First, the app crashes if the phone goes to sleep at any point when the app is open. Oops! But far mire egregious is that there is no flat high frequency target curve. What? Why don't they think people want this? Did I spend thousands on this AVP and fancy AMT tweeters only to roll them off? Get with the program here guys... Edit: it turns out that you can still access the flat curve, so it's not a total loss there, so I went from 3 to 4 stars. I still want to be able to model or at least check the results there. Otherwise it's a very nice first attempt. I look forward to the coming improvements!
Won't install on either a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 of Galaxy S6, even though both meet the system requirements. Installed it on a Huawei Mate 9 on which the app runs, but often crashes and won't show 'yes' and 'no' buttons, making it impossible to upload settings to the receiver.
It's a great start in the right direction. There's a lot they can add to make this app phenomenal. As of now it's convenient to save my files and look at the results. I'm hoping they continue to improve and update this app.
Rubbish! 20 euro's and it doesn't work. Doesn't get passed the first subwoofer volume level check. Also there is no way to Cancel the progression. Badly coded app. I'm using HTC10 with Android 7

App is terrible. Crashes on both my 6p and Nexus 7 (2013). Can't get past mic position 4 before the app becomes unresponsive. I've closed all background running apps and increased screen on time. Still nothing. Wish I had time to try the app yesterday when I was in the refund window.
