Firstly wheb i login can you please bring up the side tab to where you want to go - local files or Cloud. Then can you make it so you i click the tab on the right it saves and stays the way i want information shown on the screen. Lastly to make life easier add folder indexing so i can add photos to different folders within the cloud etc!! Starting to get so annoyed with this cloud i might swap to WD. Because I shouldnt have to manage the cloud via pc. Its pointless. Fix it

App is not functional. Can't set up Photo Album, can't access any of my documents. Photo's come up like Google Drive, thousands of photo's sorted by date. One needs to be able to access the NAS with an Explorer-like interface. Like this it's USELESS! And no help - no manual, nothing tells you what the stupid icons mean.....

R70%
by R####:

Photo sync doesn't work at all. App accesses local drive instead of NAS as default. Complete rubbish. Will NOT recommend Dlink to anyone. Buy a NAS from a better company instead.

R70%
by R####:

There is no information on how use this app. How would I upload photos or files remotely for example? I don not see all my folders on my NAS as the last screen shot above shows. I can see all my photos jumbled together but not organized my folder or even date. I could really use this when I'm traveling. It needs a lot of work to be useful to me. Really don't like it at this point.

When I click on NAS it keeps crashing the app. No way to use at all for both my Nexus 6 & Google Pixel.

Really don't know the purpose of this app. Just everything about it is poor. Poor design, poor UI, buggy, generally a waste of time.

R70%

The app is lousy GUI and cannot upload, view the files from the app at all!

J70%

Useless app, can't function at all. Keep on prompting to update. After update, same message appear..... Useless

R70%

I had the same crashing issues as the users below until I upgraded the firmware on the NAS to v1.07 and then it works fine although the upgraded version of the app is not as good as the original from 2014!

Photo backup is not always working. You cannot choose which folder to sync. The app just sync all pics in your cell phone, including icons from other apps. A whole mess. Sometimes the app just crash instantly.

R70%
by R####:

Very poor interface. No way to connect using only user accounts on NAS, only as admin. All files uploaded dumped in root, no config to tell it where to upload. iOS uploads fail every time. You need to try harder DLINK.

Only given 1 star because I cant give it 0 Have been trying to think of something positive about this app, but there isn’t anything. Kind of works on my home network but has never worked anywhere else. And yes I can connect to my NAS at Home remotely via PC. I can’t trust it so have removed.

Y70%

When I open this app I expect to see the files on my NAS, not all the media files on my phone. Seriously, who makes these design decisions? They should be fired.

Y70%
by Y####:

Come on dlink - this worked great until you started messing with it. Now its hit and miss whether it will work or not. Also don't get notification anymore if my files have uploaded. My patience us slowly running out.

At first, trial & error to get it to work...work for short period of time.. then got worst at time.. latest version doesnt even pass through the login page..no msg no error.. just nothing..useless app .. shld be remove from the store..

After upgrade I cannot open my NAS volumes at all. Please do something to rectify the problem. My operating system is Android Lollipop on my Samsung Note 4. How I wish I can revert back to the previous version - Version 1.3, and continue to use the old software, which was working perfectly.

Y70%

Really not very good. It was rubbish before they improved it, they've made it only slightly better but have added a lot of complexity and countless bugs. Unusable as it is. How hard can it be just to get it working in it's simplest form! Just make an app that allows me to access my stuff, get rid of the rubbish and just make it simple!

I got my NAS a year ago and this app has worked maybe a handful of times. Thought I'd try it out again today. After logging in, I select the D-Link NAS link, put in my password.......and nothing. No files or folders just blank! I bought this device so I would essentially have my own cloud service, but at the moment I can only access my files from my laptop on the same network. DLINK PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

From good to crap, won't start at all. Edit 7.1 no crash but stuck at "sign in" promt, when on wi-fi works, on HSDPA or 3G just displays "sign in", no luck with clearing cache uninstall etc...

Y70%
by Y####:

Doesn't recognise my dnr322L. Dlink doesn't even support it's own cameras. I bought a dcs5220b and dlink staff says it is not supported by its remote apps. Wtf to that. Chinese IP cameras are half the price, double the specs and are easily set up. Dlink should pay $50 to get a Chinaman to design better products . Btw I'm Chinese.

Y70%

Couldn't even log in, just kept crashing. Whenever you do anything there is never a prompt to verify the action taken. It's such a simple app and yet it performs so terribly.

Y70%

Okay so now i managed to be able to login.. But jeez, the app is fine when it does work.. But i need to open the app 5 times to be able to get it to work? Come on!

When I uploaded a file the app doesn't ask for a destination folder at NAS... I could see the progress bar finishing but I have no idea where my file was stored, THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE and it must be corrected A.S.A.P!!! . Besides it, since I started using this app I think it should be a destination for sharing local files, I mean, when I choose share in anywhere, my d-link app should be presented as sharing destination for any type of file, just like Google Drive, ever note, one drive e etc.

Y70%

I used to use WD until it's time for a hardware refresh. Regretted switching to Dlink. DLINK NAS doesn't have a good photo management app unlike WD. It's photo module in NAS access is not able to load anything more than 200 photos or so. I am so disappointed and regrets my decision to move to DLINK. I hope they can change my mind with better app refresh before this hardware lifespan is up.

Constantly crashes. If its not crashing it's freezes during file transfer. Have resorted to using 3rd party file management apps. May as well delete this.

The app crashes upon clicking the Sign In button even when the email address and password fields are empty. Tried to key in credentials, crashes too.

How can I get back to the old app? The one that worked. I can't play my music on the nas, can see a fraction of it but try to play it I just get failed, then the app crashes, useless. UPDATE June 2016. I thought things might improve after I updated my phone (motoG s3) and fibre broadband but no luck just as bad, I get a 'failed' or just progress line at the end of the player as if it's played the tune.

Just updated to newest version today (08JAN2016) and the app finally now works as it should allowing me to use my NAS away from home!
