This app is none functional. Lots of bugs. One thing I have done to get around the WIFI devices is once connected to your account use IFTT, as that app seems to connect to your account and control devices when the app cannot see the devices. For ZWave - you are stuck with an intermittent app, though you can connect the ZWave devices to a different ZWave hub. Come on DLink less of your standard PR replies and start giving some candid answers, are you working on a fix or not?
The app response is very slow given I have 180 mbps internet speed and dlink's own AC3200 alien spaceship router... either the app or the connected DSP-W110 smartplugs are buggy. They also appear offline randomly. Please fix the issue. ..
My alarm was not able shut off and it was annoying having my DLink alarm blaring in my house without recognizing my password. I even went to the DLink webpage and reset my password, but it still does not allow me to login. My wife was able to shut the alarm off with her phone and app.
Not sure what everyone is going on about. App works fine for me. Only slight problem is the D-link sensor won't control the smart plug. App opens quickly. Sometimes has some delay switching smart plug on our off, but no different to opening some web pages.
Ridiculous app. When there is a New firmware available, the app shows it but you can do nothing about it. Think I Have to reset it or Maybe just return the camera…
Setup was easy and it's work with my Galaxy S7 but I don't like the notification. It's only beep 1 time and that it's. Please make the siren or at least like a ringtone untill I turn it off, I will give 5 stars!
The App is unstable at best of times. The devices will (about 90% of the time) not read the schedules set in your devices or the App will show them go mysteriously offline, when it will ask you if you would like to reset the device unnecessarily (because eventually it will connect with them again). Unfortunately, if you're buying D-Link's home gadgets, there is no choice but to live with it. So buy some calming herbs or pills or find some other way to test your patience. Good luck.
I changed the password and it won't allow me to log in again. All the devices in my home are now USELESS!!! Also, I can't connect IFTTT, it always says wrong username and password!
Very poor app. I have D link device ( DCH S150 6D94) connected to my router it is solid green. But the app cannot find the D link...
I have issues with this app because it keeps on showing my camera inactive after there was a power outage in my area. I reset the camera and nothing, my app still showing offline. I would like for someone to contact me about this issue.
Crashes 100% of the time on startup. Will not pair any devices. All PIN numbers included with products are fake and don't work. The camera is not initialized during setup. Basically nothing works at all.
The products have flaws the app is worse and the customer support at dlink is useless you tell them your issue and they just run through the motions .. the live chat take them 5 minutes to say can you try to hook it up with a cable. Awesome trouble shooting thanks for your expert service
An amazing device with a buggy slow and always hanging application interface. At times thermal won't open and schedule opens only when i reset the device. It's an application bug, i Believe your cloud is slow and takes time to fetch data from there you can fix this by developing a tiny library in the applicant directly which won't need to fail fetch the functions of the application. Please do not ask me to contact the team, if I were that free i would have not bought two of these devices.
Worked for a little while, now my cameras show up as offline all the time. They appear fine and are viewable through the dlink lite app. I've cleared the app, tried reinstalling, still all of my cameras appear offline.
First of all, the app does not synchronized with the web portal. I was able to log on to the website but my device didn't show up. Secondly, I expect a continuous alert when my water leak sensor goes off. And some kind of acknowledgement from user to turn off the alert. What I got is one notification like a text message. Flooding can cause thousands of dollars of damages if not stop quickly. People can easily miss text messages. Thirdly, the event action item is too simple. You cannot add multiple emails address for the alerts. I don't think much thought went into making this app. It's just not ready for prime time.
Please fix your application and release a new update! It always gives offline for cams they are turned on and connected to the wifi properly! USELESS!!!
Had great potential, but failed miserably in execution. This app only allows you to switch outlets on and off manually and completely ignored any schedule settings. There is a 30-60 delay with Android HTC one M8 and Asus transformer. Edit 6-15-17 App is still terrible with Android and smart outlets. Cannot even access schedule or any other settings using Google Pixel. Basically the only thing you can do is manually turn in and off with app...buy another brand
How do u delete device. Keeps saying cam is off line. Won't let be run setup. But works fine on my dlinklight. Please help
Every D-Link app fails to reliably log on and start viewing the selected camera when I use 4G lite cell phone service to view each camera I have. The app and cameras work properly only on Wifi. I have found no answer to fix this limitation.
Bought the water sensor. Was easy to setup, only took 2 minutes. Small amount water sets it off and mydlink alerts to it. App works fine.My only thing would be to have it also email me or send a text to a couple cells so everyone in house gets a msg.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for. In the last few days I have bought the Security Kit and 2 x Z120 motion detectors and 1 x Z110 door sensor. The setup process is simple, when it works. Attaching the Z120 motion detectors had to be repeated several times as I could not get the Z120's to restart the pairing process. Eventually I worked out that I was not pressing the tamper button fast enough. The camera ( DCS-935L ) , which is sold as part of the security kit, is not well integrated with the Z-wave hub/components. It is not possible to use the motion or sound events in any actions, nor is it possible to setup any schedules. However, the day and night time picture quality is good and the screen/video capture process works reliably. One reason for buying this system was the possibility of capturing video and snapshots to a local server. Unfortunately this process uses FTP which I am reluctant to enable. The camera should be using SFTP. The free mydlink application is easy to use but Scheduling does not seem to work at all. None of the z-wave devices seem to recognise schedules which means that I need to turn the sensors on/off manually.
Motion sensors keep disconnecting so they are pretty much useless. When you run the app it finds them , then you put the pin in and still shows them offline. If you are reading this before buying , beware! You will end up with a pile of nasty overpriced tat that does not work.
It's so disappointing having many D-Link devices and look at new brands improving their apps and D-Link doing nothing in order to fix its own. D-Link devices take so much time to respond a input that you think you didn't command anything. The app take as long as 30 seconds to turn on. Please D-Link, fix it. I'm moving to TP-LINK.
Too often my smartplug will show incorrectly as offline in the app and I will have to factory reset and re-pair the device to get it to work again. I have switched to using openHAB to control my smartplug as it is faster and more reliable.
I use a lot of DLink kit at work, it is usually very reliable. The Home Hub is presently showing as online on my tablet and offline on my phone. Both devices can ping and access the Home Hub on the network. Some of the WiFi motion detectors will show in the app and other times not, yet if not they still activate the actions. This whole product feels very Beta! Cheers! Registered and raised a support ticket - 2 weeks ago -Still no reply. Useless DO NOT BUY THIS KIT!
Cannot find the way to send email notifications after activating camera motion detection. Any cheap chinese ip camera does it. So, what's this app + hub all about?
Can't get past login screen. I have an existing account and my password doesn't work. I tried the forgot password link but it's a blank page.
I hate this app, I hate their dsp w110 smart outlets. You CANNOT adjust schedules on them. I set them up originally, but they are now locked in place with no ability to edit. I guess you have to do a factory reset to change the schedule. I regret buying the outlets and will be dumping them on eBay, just like dlink does.
The app works well for me for basic settings and alerting of my motion detector and siren. However it doesn't seem to support the dcs-932L camera and I had to install the dlink lite app for that. Please update the app to support this camera so it can integrate with the other devices and I can use one app for all.of them.
No widget, responds slowly, usually requires the switch to be select 2 or 3 tumes to turn on as the app usually has the on/off status incorrect. Devices and app not really ready for market. More of a beta implementation. Poor.
After a long process of installing my device, now the app shows that the firmware needs to be updated. If I submit "ok" then it shows installing firmware but not get installed. Without upgrading, I can't able to access my device...concluding that this app is purely useless.
Jusy bought dlink siren today. Made account but wont let me log into this app. Giving company until monday to come up with a solution as it appears many have this issue then returning to amazon and getting the honeywell wave2 siren...
I can't connect to my device (dsp-w215) with the app. Fortunatly I have a script on my pc to control it via openhab so not the end of the world. App troubleshooting would be much easier if there was an option to remove a device so it can be re-added.
Garbage the stupid plug can't be acessed by this app because it can't ever find it the setup requires you to unplug the stupid plug to find a code and asks for after the device is connected this is the worst plug ever never buy the plug or pay for anything
When are you guys going to get with the times and bring out a app that you can use just for your modem router this app is junk really considering taking my dlink router modem back to buy a netgear they no what people want
Never worked that good to begin with, but some now its gotten much worse. I'm constantly having to reset it. Do waste your time.
I can not even make a account on the app. It keeps saying try again and i have tried at least 6 times.
Scheduler stopped working. Device only responds to manual commands. Too expensive of device to become unreliable in 6 months.
Great app, great products. Set up two dlink smart light swiches, connected them to Alexa with Alexa Skill and had everything up and running in less than 15 minutes.

App simply does not work. Cannot update my devices or occasionally i can after 5 or 20 minutes of continously trying to refresh. Submitted support request and just got generic reply after a long time. Terrible. Is this being discontinued or something? Is that why this is so awful?
