DJI Lightbridge for Android
I have tried all night to get this app to simply do what its supposed to do
Crap doesn't work with the phantom 3. .....

App works great on HTC One and Sony Z tablet. But Lightbridge Air Unit randomly died and is out of warranty. It no longer accepts any video signals (red LED) and is a KNOWN problem in the DJI Community. Would be worth it buy a backup or look at other options for video transmission...
I got everything set up and it keeps saying broken connection.
Goes round in circles fron "connection established" to "connection broken". Using note 4
I'm not really sure what to do with it..

Just purchased 2 brand new P3A's along with new Samsung galaxy tabs, only to be unable to connect via LB app. Go app works ok, but obviously more limited range. Whenever LB app is launched it is just an endless broken connection message.
After update this app. It's perfect work well on my note 4. Thanks DJI

Its a great app. I just miss the option to save the received video in your phone or tablet, please add a save button!
UPDATE: DJI updated the app very soon after I submitted an email to the support team. Thanks DJI for the quick fix. It now works pretty reliably on the Nexus 7 other than a app restart here and there when switching video modes. Original Review: The app establishes a connection with the data but not the video on my new Nexus 7 2nd gen with android 5.0.1. The light bridge works fine with my iPhone 5 on ios8 and nvidia shield running android 4.4.2. I hope dji will address this issue for those of us who do not have an Inspire1.
Thank you for this great app. Once I have LB set up, using it is just so easy. Did a lot of good to my business!! Just don't screw it! Ha!
I use my partners tablet and it was set to auto update apps and it auto updated the Lightbridge app. So I had to upgrade all the latest firmware for my previously perfectly working Phantom 2/Lightbridge combo. What a great morning I have had after going out to demonstrate my setup to a prospective new customer only to find I have no video feed. Keeps coming up on my app "connection broken" Come on DJI - how do you manage to regularly release "updates" that cause more problems than they are trying to fix!
The app is rather nice when it's working, but that is not always the case. Im currently having compatibility issues with the latest version of android on my nexus 7: all controls working, OSD displays, but no video feed. If I swap the tablet for one with an older android OS, or if I use the LB HDMI output, the video displays fine. Let's get an update!
## UPDATE## receiving video on android. If you own a Z15 Gh3 do not update zenmuse with the Z15 Gh4 update 2.0 or 2.2. You will not get video on this app. DJI took the Z15 Gh3 updates off the website. Do a search on the DJI website for Z15 Gh3 download. Downgrade the Gh3 assistant, downgrade GCU to version 1.4 and video will work. Also ensure camera wifi is off or video will not work.
after update new lightbridge firmware, my s900 fly as it want and end up with the roof, my fixing cost is 700USD at first i think it's my mistake, then my friend upgrade new firmware > same but he's much better pilot than me , so he can took his s900 back to the ground .. we try both pure lightbridge video+control or lightbridge only video, control by futaba same.. very bad dont update new lightbridge firmware
They don't make it easy to set up and no easy support from dji or b and h photo

Hi, I bought DJI S900, Zenmuse BMPCC Gimble, Lightbridge, Cinemizer and A2 flight controllers. Its been 11 tireless days and I cant get it to work together. The basic problem is very poor documentation. Manuals are available for each individual product like A2, Zenmuse, S 900 and Lightbridge but nothing is available on how one connects to the other . . . I have been painstakingly watching endless videos to try to figure things out but i am still not there . . I am very frustrated with whole experience. The latest is that I cant get video through the Lightbridge to the ground station and DJI app does not work for Samsung, I have tried everything, loading kies, latest VLC palyer whatever it just wont work. Tried app for window but thats no good either . . . someone please help. .
Updated app and updated firmware on both units as directed by DJI. Now only getting "Connection Broken" on App. Technical support has no idea what the problem is. It worked fine until latest update. DJI, you need to take responsibilty for this issue. I'm not the only one with these issues. Read the forums! Fix this quickly! *UPDATE* In response to DJI. Tried 3 different android devices, all with usb debugging on. Still no connection.

Why we couldn't get the OSD in the app it self directly; instead of connecting to an HDMI/additional monitor. It should be optional from app to android device. Kindly action on my query ASAP.
I tried it on a Nexus 7 and HTC one7, no dice. Installed fine, create account, log in, USB connected enable USB debugging, and that's it. When I try to change settings, it says "send failed", after a while it says Connection failed, I restarted, app, tablet, ground station (yes all lights are on) - any ideas?
On galaxy tab s ....no idea why it didnt work. ..does now?

Coz I saw it very interesting. . And my dealer say. It can't fix it.. Make me so disappointed. . Hope DJI PHANTOM give me great answer.
I get black screen sometimes for few seconds when my phantom is further. But still I love dji lightbridge I believe is the best. Dji please fix the black screen
I tested it on the S5, Nexus 4 & Nexus 7 and it works great. The Galaxy Tab 8 running kitkat which we wanted to use gives the timeout error during the log in process. Haven't been able to find a fix for it.
I have this app running fine on my galaxy s5, but the note 3 no longer works. I've uninstalled and installed numerous times but it makes no difference. It will never show vision or flight details. Way too flakey to rely on for paid work. They are at the same version also so its a mystery.

Have now tried this app on a Samsung s5 and a galaxy tab E but I get the same endless connection broken message. Is it my devices or is it my controller?, can anyone help?
