DJI FC40 for Android
Nasty horrible app that won't connect to the dji fc40. Shameful customer service that does not exist. Rather pay out the extra money and go with a company that can legally and fairly operate
WiFi connects but the app won't connect to the camera on any new phone . Works fine on old phones though. Send email to complain and basically told bad luck
The app is ok and does the job but there are a few bugs and missing features. The app closes if you looses connection and is quite temperamental in connecting to the camera. It would also be good to have more settings. Maybe an option to lower the quality of the fpv to better the latency and be able to automatically take photos every five seconds or so.
I use this on an old HTC OneX and it works fine, although it can be a little choppy making FPV flight impractical. Otherwise it does everything I need it to including saving to device.
Does what its supposed to. Bit laggy and doesn't have all the features of its sister apps for the vision.
Please work on this compatibility issue. Connects to my old s3 & works with no real problems.
Hate it. Not recommended for newbies. Even simple things like pause. On, Off folder management, is hard to figure out what to do. Plus it does not communicate directly to a PC or Mac. Only WiFi which causes a delay in any command you give it.
It does not work on my android phone all it has is a blue screen and it won't let me do nothing else I would rate it as a - 0 if I could
This camera will not stay connected. Contacting support to find out the problem. It takes to long to find it via Wi-Fi and as soon as you take a picture or video it disconnects. Very, sorely disappointed.
Will not connect to a galaxy S4 says it has a good connection but waiting on a better signal. Works fine on my wife's galaxy s5.

It will not work on my Samsung s5, so I can't see where I am going, it dose not deserve any star's as I can't use it, more options like the phantom two would be nice but that will not happen as you will not read this, like you don't read the reports I have been making for the last year.
What a useless app now. It use to work fine. But now it's just a waste of space. The connection is useless and the app just freezes.
Works on HTC One no problem. Very basic functionality. For the price is a great way to practice until I'm ready to spend the money on a Gopro. Camera survived more than a few crashes.
When I first got my DJI FC40 I had an Note 3, now that I have upgraded to a Note 5 the app wont even connect to the frigging camera, it sees the WiFi from the camera, but when you click on it it just keeps searching, no connection, now I know the camera is good cause my iPhone cam connect to it, but not the Note 5.
I have a galaxy s6 edge and it won't work at all. Once it's compatible I will give five stars
fc40 app works ok but having problems with viewing saved video on phone, ok to view on pc.
I have an android HTC one m8 and the camera won't stay connected more that 30 seconds please fix app DJI!!!!
Not working on the LG G Flex 2. Won't rate higher until resolved.
Does not work with my S6 and getting help from DJI is like pulling teeth!
The app doesnt work in my alcatel idol 3... Just dont work...
it says select camera bar and start clicked many times but said the same thing , just showing wifi name wth ? no information no help i didnt understand anything and removed it
Have had numerous issues connecting my phone to the fc40 WiFi - pretty much useless now.
Unable to use with LG V10. Will not connect to camera in app to display preview. Completely broken -- where's the commitment to keeping older/discontinued products functional from DJI? This app hasn't been updated in over 2 years.
Despite the bad reviews I find it rather good on my HTC m8. The range is excellent although that may be more to do with the phone. Sometimes it won't connect but a phone restart sorts that. All in all its pretty tidy.
There is some lag. Make sure you don't have a previous DCIM directory on your camera micro SD card already, rename or delete it first.
Love it, great pic with no time lag. These people that moan about it must have cheap phones or poor running programs. Works great on my galaxy s4.
Only issue I have on nexus 5 is that to get it to connect I have to go into WiFi settings and forget the network then reconnect. Other than that, works as advertised!
Will not connect to camera on my nexus 5 running 5.0
Great app no issues other than sometimes it stops recording on its own, other than that a big thumbs up from me :)
Dji could work on it.
Expanded since Jan- Doesn't connect consistently. Battery level warning ineffective as it quits within seconds. On screen FC40 battery level would be nice alongside a similar meter for sd capacity remaining. Flight timer/alarm essential. Time lapse setting very desirable User interface needs sharpening as easy to mix up camera controls with folder controls- unexpected exchange of live view for folder view while trying to take a still pic. FPView is lost for a long time (relatively) after taking a still
App didn't work on my Galaxy tab3 10.1 at first now with the android update to 4.4 kittkat it works but with lots of lagging because of the big screen and latency so resolution is so poor you can't see it outdoors. Works ok with my android phone but as most of those smarphones screens in bright light are useless even with a mounted mask...is only good to turn the camera on and off remotely and forget about fpv. This app could do more since they sell a similar camera on the internet with a much better app but it won't work with the FC40 clone camera so you are stuck with this app for now, is too bad since the little camera resolution is workable for a beginner point of view and good until you are ready to drop few hundred dollars on a Gopro or similar device plus some more green on a gimbal that I believe most of people that buy the FC40 are not ready for it...
Limited distance however. FPV is challenging with the lag time.
Htc one m7, doesnt work half the time and if you start a video then you can't stop it without a hard reset on the camera and a 2 minute wait before a reboot and try again... Rubbish atm, please fix it.
I get great fpv. Wish I culd save to camera or phone without an sd card. But it does what its supposed to
This app wont work on lg g3 smart phones
I've gotten it to connect maybe 4 times on 3 different android devices. Actually, I haven't been able to connect it to my s5. Connected one time on my asus memo and a few times on my s3...Wtf?
Very buggy. stops all the time. cant get it to work on my galaxy tab 3. guess if you don't buy the vision this crap is what your stuck with.

I upgraded my phone to an htc one m9 and can no longer connect with my camera. It still works on my kindle and girlfriends lg phone using kitKat. I've changed every setting on my phone to no avail. Very disappointing that it has these issues with lollipop 5.0.2
