Moneycontrol Markets on Mobile

Old review was deleted nicely by awesomely talented people out there at moneycontrol. Change the name to AdsUncontrolled instead of moneycontrol. Pathetic professionas out there. Deleting a review for better rating? First get the numbers right and show only correct numbers for fundamental ratios. Not the PE on Android phones will be shown as PC ratio on iOS and vice versa. Ads across all app pages ?? Portfolio gets nothing to be seen but ads. Does my portfolio has only one ad? Kudos to the team who addressed the ads issue with moneycontrol app. By adding more to it. Appreciate it

Little space more is left...please place ad commercials there also...why that place is also left...put some promotional things there too...come on team atleast think about it that this is a serious business or professional app for those who seriously work in this market and to collect some data that also on urgent basis we come on dash board and that time these adss...little were good...i understand you have got to incurr your expenses behind maintaining this app but to this extent...everywhere...every corner...ever scroll.... Totally Annoying....

My portfolio is get synced mutually by next day morning 7 am Indian time if exchange market suppose to be closed previous day at 4:10 pm. I don't know why it takes more 15 hours. This should be taken into consideration, though value must be accurate..

The previous version of this app was very good. But this version is very unfriendly. The ad covers most of the part. There is no place left without the advertisement . Moreover you should also give an option to modify the font size. Some people can have problem with such small fonts. The version which was 2 years back was really appreciative. But this one is really bad and inconvenient . Hope to get my issues resolved soon otherwise i wont be able to continue with this one.

New edit: While the admin has no time to address the users problems (indicated earlier), they have made advertisements as their primary content now. Old comment: When I post a message on the forums, it is withheld saying since I am new, it will be screened by the moderator. Thereafter the messages vanish for ever. On the desktop version I am however a bronze member and my messages get posted. Will the moderator look into this? I see similar comments from other members as well and the moderator has not bothered to reply.

Was good before, but now have are displaying too many banner advertisements and popups. As a result the space for displaying actual content has become too small and this is impacting the usability of this app very severely.. There are now much better apps for news and tracking personal portfolio etc. which do kot show this many ads.

Unbelievable amount of ad these days. It was not like this and I liked the app. But now one cannot see his own portfolio but the ads and the menu band together occupies 70% of the screen. Need to remember you are getting ads due to users. If users start leaving like I am doing then u will stop getting any ad. Warm Regards Sattam

Too much ads.. Do you guys even know how to code up a classy app inclusive of ads. Take a cue from some of the international portal apps like BBC or Bloomberg or MSN. Your recent looks like an typical flyover slapped with tons of ugly movie posters. Horrible to say the least, uninstalled it.

If any stock is sold from Portfolio, it doesnt show in any history as to how mch profit or loss incurred or any past holdings.. Also major problem is present in forum reading.If u are reading 10 th comment in forum it again takes you back to first automatically. Very mch irritating..

Unable to post comments in Forums, says that since I am a new member, the comments needs to be checked by a moderator. It's been ages now but none of my comments have been vetted & posted in the forum. Real time updates don't happen as it ideally should. I have already installed the latest version app available on Play Store. Update on Jan 12 2018: Sent an email to the mobile app team to complain about my comments not getting posted on the Moneycontrol forum, awaiting response if any.

App is good and well designed with good features. UI can be better. The banner ads take up most of the space on the screen/dashboard, along with full screen popup ads. That's the only thing annoying. Please align/reduce the ads so they don't take up most of the screen space, rendering the app less appealing to use.

Change app name to add control. Their is so much ad in my portfolio section that i can't even look at my full portfolio. It's so pathetic. I cant even see my bottom stock as its pull upwards due to pathetic motilal oswald ads. So annoying

updated app has way too many ads user interface has become cumbersome, very little space remains for us to refresh the page through. I only want to use the app for Mutual Funds. Create a subscription service for those who are interested in shares and trading, and give a one time purchase option for those who just want to use to get info about their mutual funds, you can even create a separate app for serving mutual funds exclusively.

Over all app is good But one thing I like to share In My Portfolio if u update a script , It will only show u NSE price by default. No option for BSE exchange. Many times there is price gap in NSE~BSE EXCHAGE, also require a/c pass book which shows previous a/c transaction as profit & loss ac. Request to admin Plz Look after this

Its very annoying while doing review of portfolio because of huge improperly placed ads. It should be either at the top or bottom most what make a sense of placing ads in between of the app and that to approx covering 30% of the screen. Senseless developer ????????

Looks like your employees are designing new websites which one day will rule over Moneycontrol. Take off or shutdown Moneycontrol for a week as it has become a nuisance with ads popping up. There has to be a limit as the moderator must have gone for honeymoon

Used to be extremely good till few weeks back. It has been irritating to use the app since ads have been introduced in it. Its not that easy to use the app now. Will continue using this app only Until and unless we get another similar option available.

I am using it from long time but new version is full of addvertisment and after every 20 second addvertise comes,I am very angry becouse its not easy to use app for regular users.With lots of add this app is useless. Last time I have give 5 but now it deservers 0 .

So on portfolio screen you cannot see all the stocks clearly coz of BIG 2018 BUDGET AD BANNER on each screen. Dear Administrator, previously I(N.Gulati) members since 24July 2007used to be a platinum member having many followers and following, but now it is showing me a new member and all the following, followers and all my posts have been lost. I could not login with user ID- N.Gulati (member since 24july 2007).Almost even after Four months the the problem is unresolved.

Have been using moneycontrol from long time and sincerely no complaints. But the new version is really annoying with ads all over the screen. The scrip cannot be scrolled and ad overlapping. One suggestions with the forum is to have guest post only against moderator threads.

The no and size of ads is increasing after every updates. No of pop up ads is also too much.please reduce them. Please bring alert options on the app. Feature to write notes for stock in our portfolio to help review. For this two feature I m using smart stock which is also great in providing prompt news for stock. Bug: Buy/sell doesn't work properly most of the time. When I do bulk sell from app it sells only the first lot or sometimes there is no change at all and when I click save again then the stocks is sold twice. Then I have to log in from website and sort the matter which is really annoying.

Forum is just one sided. I don't understand why moderators or board members allow spammers to flood with crappy promotional messages which doesn't makes sense. Also it makes investors loose important message which will help decide the trade

Interface has not shown any improvement from previous versions. Ads are provided more rental space than main content. Cannot even view entire portfolio at a time. No mechanism to skip or sideline them. Perhaps app makers want all users to move away to other service providers.

Partner Ads on the main screen take up too much space. Why does anyone have to be shown ads right in your face so much so that they become a hindrance while using the app. ?

The app is awesome but the new annoying ad in the portfolio page (up) is insane. I cannot bear this.. Ad can be placed down or the UI can be improved, till that point just remove the ad. Edit: Improved the rating as the annoying ad on portfolio page is removed.

Nowadays, Motilal Oswal, Indiabulls real estate, Aeon life advertisements cover 3 quarters of the home screen, making it really difficult to navigate. Mostly, the day's gain is not accurate. The app permits tracking invested value, current value, units invested, but it does not show the average per unit investment price, which is a very useful measure. Despite these challenges, this is one of the better investment tracking app in India.

The advertisement while checking the portfolio value, is one of the worst thing you can do. Because when I am losing money I am not bothered about who is going to showcase the budget. I am bothered only for money. So a humble request to remove advertisement from portfolio values Tab at least.

This app is getting rediculous nowadays on every update. Continuous bad ratings below is not a surprise. 1. Now almost 40% of screen is covered by ads worst thing is even the scroller doesn't stop at one point. 2. Live news is just waste to look into. Keeps getting refreshed often and the news gets lost. 3. These guys are never bothered on our feedback messages. Mails sent long back to there support has not even got a single reply to it. 4. Other protfolio like ulip, mutual funds take 12 hrs to get updated. I have many things to update but I think I am wasting my time for no use.

After latest update it keeps on logging out automatically. Coz of which I keep loosing my "Stocks last visited" list which is very imp to monitor my trades. Frustrating & leading to losses. Repentin my decision to update things were fine before

The position of the ads in the portfolio section is horrible and irritating. I hv been using this app since last 4-5yrs but this is annoying beyond a doubt. I know ads are important but pls keep the app user friendly as well

Rather the all good things are same but what I think is black color as a background is bit irritating and highly brightnessa also causes an eye pain. So please if able change background color of the app. Ty.

Decent for what it offers, but needs loads of improvement. 1. Ads need to go. Start a subscription or make a purchase option. 2. Sync with website is not reliable. Needs to be imroved. 3. Price movements need to be shown on real time basis. 4. Interface is extremely cluttered and not user friendly.

the app provide knowledge of financial market but it doed not provide knowledge to a new comer how to use it. Basic questions are unanswered and one can not find silly answers. What is follower or follow or how one become platinum or silver or gold. Simple terminolgy is used but no explanations.

Great app for tracking stocks and funds though in mutual fund section so much improvement is required. Now a days there are so many fake board members who just keep posting ads. Few years it used to be great.

Too many ads Recently you have forced so many ads on your user. These ads are killing your app and will force user to opt for some other app. I hope you will take wise decision in favor of your user community and will reduce some ads from the app

Used to be a nice app. However, now all it does is display almost full page ads. I'm considering using alternative apps. There are many in the market and the one's from the banks themselves do not have these annoying ads. Update: The large ad section is now removed from my portfolio screen and now I'm able to see all stocks without the ad.

I gave 5 stars in 2015.. This is edited. Too much commercial ads.. Like any other app here doesn't show real time data with up & downs.. Need MORE IMPROVEMENTS, NEED MORE USER FRIENDLY.. Please INNOVATIVE this app.. Learn from Others

Nothing improved after the update.Tell me something how some other msg is opening when I click another msg. ? I tried in multiple phones same problem. Also it keeps refreshing and it goes again to top of the forum once refreshed. Again I have to scroll down all the way to read the msg which I left.
