Can't change tank size, can't use 2 different size tanks on a dive, can't change the amount of gas used, no answer to emails about whether I am doing something wrong.

Won't connect to my petral after first time and will not shut off once opened

Crashes when I try to view logs. Useless now.

I don't know what DJ Kinney is talking about! I installed this app and had no trouble connecting to my Petrel 2 to download and view my dive logs on my HTC One M9. There are some useful 'bonus' features like SAC calculation too, although my tanks (double HP117) weren't listed in the drop down list. The ability to define custom tank capacities would be nice...

Nice...other than in the profile view, the PPO2 numbers and profile, aren't consistent with those of my gas switches. For example, a switch to 100% O2 at a depth of 20 feet doesnt show a 1.59 PO2, still shows air PO2.

Cylinder start pressure 214 bar needs to be adjustable to 300 bar

When am i going to be able to use the Perdix with this app?

Please fix tank pressures. Max tank pressure you can set is 214 bar, but regular EU containers are used with 232 or 300 bar.

Truth. Matt Hansen is a paid troll. This app STILL crashes every time when I want to "view" a dive." But I have a Nexus 5, the very basic, foundation of all android development. If it crashes here, it's junk.

Will only download 25 dives with no way to add more.

I really don't understand what the Tech license does and am rather miffed I purchased the Tech license at all. I can still only download 23 dives to my smartphone. This app needs more updates and tech support BADLY. No easy way to synch with the log manager on my PC, lots of bugs, and poor administration. The app has enormous potential if "the app was a priority" with the Dive Nav team. If you aren't going to support an app then DON"T MAKE PEOPLE PAY!

The basic app is ok for downloading your dives but the tech key is useless. The deco profile is inaccurate and meaningless. Customer support is not helpful and no refund after several emails without reply.

Hangs on the registration process. Incredibly disappointing app. Going to send an email to Shearwater hopefully they will pull the plug on this app.

Loads my Petrel logs, displays them very well, shows the scrollable profile well, and shows stats across all dives (deepest est) - will happily pay US$7.99 a year for the full version just as a thank you!

The basic logging works, but lots of the features don't work correctly. The in app purchase for the tech portion is crazy as the main app is not fully functional

Absolute crap. How shearwat er can be associated with this software amazes me. It could be so good but keeps crashing. You cannot log onto the web site. And cannot edit the location. CRAP@@ Also I have a Predator but can you change it from Petral? NO

Not satisfying at all

Nice to download to the phone but seems to lose the location when synching So nice to have a method to download the dive computer to the phone for easy reference but when I sync online, it seems to lose the location. Also I don't see a way of putting in GPS coordinates or tagging it on the map that pops up.

Needs a bit more stable stability when getting log from dive computer

Nice app. Works with my Petrel EXT on a HTC One X, only issue is the app needs to be installed to the internal storage and not to the phone's general storage or an external SD card. There is an option to move the app to general storage to save space but this causes it to crash when you try to view a dive log. Excellent otherwise.

I have gotten this to work on my Nexus 7 running stock AOSP, however upon changing to the newer 4.3 firmware, I do not get synchronization within my Predator. Nor with my SGS-T989 running CM 10.1.2 stable. Any tips would be appreciated. I can provide diagnostics if need be for my devices.

I just tried it with my Petrel and it was able to download my dive logs.

I've been using this for only few days so far. Looks like a very promising app. Hope they won't screw it up. Works smoothly with my Predator and Galaxy Note II. Would be nice to see deco curve on a profile (same as in predator dive log). The next step would be a great one - allow inputting dive sites and marking world map. Thx.

Great app I have great love for the shearwater predator. As I have 2. App just needs more tank sizes for us rebreather divers 2L and 3L would be awesome or a custom setting so we could enter our own values would rock. Keep up the great work shearwater, this is just another reason your #1

Depth average shows at three feet, no matter the dive. Hope you continue work on this.

Does not work anymore, just crashing while starting. As pointed to before - this is not the first dive computer app, please correct this! Search the store and you will see several others (Submatix f.i.). But good to see this, as the PC version is not the best piece of software one have seen. Could not test with my Predator so far, but at least the Tutorial was not working in the former release when the app did not crash...

Great app. the graph lacks a tad when compared to the desk top version but i guess thats acceptable. really like the SAC calculator. Keep it up and an improvements will be welcome.

I was able to upload my Predator OK (after pairing in Android - otherwise it just timed out). Max depth/Avg depth on dives is being set to the max the Predator has seen at that time, not to what the actual dive profile shows, so that is not good. Color choices are horrid - the "tank" section is yellow with white type for me, and is almost unreadable. This is on Android 4.1.1, Jellybean, for what it is worth. As of 1.2, now 4 stars. This is improving very quickly!

Finally an app that allows communication between a dive computer and my phone! Works much like the desktop version provided by the dive computer manufacturer but with great added features. Best part is the developer has put this out for beta testing and is responsive to suggestions! Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful application in line with Shearwater technology. Now, I can upload my Dive logs onto my phone, review that even when my notebook or SW is not with me. Continue with this good start. Cheers... Jacqueline Koh
