About iDive (SCUBA Dive) Computer

Transform your Smartphone into a model-specific scuba diving computer!

If you are a recreational scuba diver, this is the perfect App to refresh your skills before the dive season resumes, or in-between dive trips.

Thanks to our virtual depth sensor you can interact with your Smartphone with simple hand movements and make it descend or ascend in the water column and so create your own dive profile.
Tap the compartments icon and see the nitrogen intake and release of your body.
And at the end of the dive, tap on the log icon to see a summary of your dive.

The iDive Computer App comes with a non branded dive computer, but you can customize it by purchasing, via inApp, simulations for model-specific dive computers of major brands such as Aeris, Cressi, Hollis, Mares, Oceanic, ScubaPro, Shearwater, Sherwood, SubGear, Suunto and Tusa.

The iDive Computer App runs - in real time - our implementation of the Buhlmann ZH-L16C algorithm (moderate conservatism setting) and supports the most typical dive screens such as: surface, normal diving, entering deco, decompression stop, deco violation, fast ascent alarm and post dive.

If you are a dive professional this is the perfect App to show a model-specific dive computer in action to your customers and/or students.

This App shows a dive computer in action during a simulated dive. Please note that this App does not simulate pressing the dive computer button(s).

This version supports the following model-specific dive computers:
Aeris: A100, A300, A300 AI, A300XT, Atmos AI, Elite T3, Epic, Manta, XR-1, XR-1 Nx and XR-2

Don't wast your time or money - All the computers are very basic and have zero interaction. I bought the Mares Puck Pro and it is actually an inaccurate simulation and does not display Deep Stops the way the actual computer does - Very bad to learn incorrectly. What a waste of $5.

Complicated just like they're f****** computers.

Mixed feelings on that one. A generic, free, version is great educational tool. Try to dive, see nitrogen saturation, try out different violations.... The paid part - computer specific add-ons, are actually simply skins... Same numbers just displayed over a picture resembling particular model. NO added functionality.... The free app by itself - is great. The paid stuff - is a scam. I saw a reply with reference to windows version of the same app with promise of better functionality, but it is a different story (it wouldn't work on my computer)

This looks to be a training tool, but it lacks functionality and responsiveness. Tried getting it to do something other than playing the bottoming out simulation, and nothing worked. There should be a money back option. After reviewing the response from the app creator, I wish it were possible to give zero stars. I have left this app on my phone, waiting for an update to make it functional, but nothing has come of this USELESS app. Save your money!

Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Just purchased the app for the actual dive computer that I use. It shows depth, air time, dive time and a few other basics on the display but won't allow you to push any buttons to actually use it like you would in the water. For example, it won't even let you toggle the display to show tank pressure instead of the time of day. Doesn't have any audible alarms that the actual computer has. This app is not even close to being useful to gain any reasonable experience or skills with your computer. Pretty much a waste of time and money.

Although useful to see the interface of the computer I'm looking at purchasing (presumably it's the same in real life although I have no way of saying for sure as yet), not being able to press any of the buttons etc makes this less than ideal. £3.20 for effectively a static image with some moving numbers on? Should be much more.

At least, none that I can see. I was expecting something that would let me fiddle with the controls on a simulated dive computer, but this app doesn't do that. I paid $5.99 for a simulation of my Suunto Cobra, but all this does is show a picture of my computer and simulate a dive. You can control the depth, ascent and descent times, but you can't change anything on the image of the computer. And there doesn't seem to be any way to get my money back. Save your money on this one.
