Farm Sage :: Farm Management

Farm Sage is a FREE cross-platform app that allows you to track farm production from any phone, tablet or desktop computer with full-control and access to the data. Download, email and print all of your information at any time for easy import to familiar programs like Microsoft Excel. Simply put, Farm Sage takes the confusion out of farm records management.

Dustin Sage, a fifth generation Iowa farmer, was frustrated with the complex nature and lack of data control of leading mobile agriculture apps. He wanted full-access to his farm stats from anywhere at anytime with the ability to download, file and analyze the data at his convenience. His solution was to create an app that met the basic record keeping needs of himself and fellow farmers.

"I realized there had to be a better way to manage my operation. I wanted to easily track my production costs and find ways to be more profitable while having total control of my data. Recording things like product application rates, farm yields, and equipment usage in other farm management programs was complicated and they didn’t let me download my own information in a format I could actually use. On top of all that, writing stuff down in the field and typing it in at the end of the day was a hassle – and it usually just didn’t happen. I built Farm Sage because I wanted to save time and money, and no other tool was able to do that."

Farm Sage features includes:

Crop Planning – setup Farms/Fields and add your crop plan to each, including yield goal, planting and seed information, fertilizer applications, and crop protectants.

Inventory Tracking – Log and track usage of diesel, DEF, gas, oil, fertilizer, seed, and crop protectants.

Equipment – Log equipment usage, financial information, and maintenance records.

Field Work – Till, fertilize, plow, plant, spray, and harvest. Track fuel expense, tractor hours, inventory used, and information for EPA reporting requirements.

Reporting – Detailed field report: harvest information, planting information, fertilizer application, crop protectant information, and break-even price per bushel.
