About Display OFF (minimal)
*** Not compatible with Android 5.0+ Lollipop ***
This is a very simple app to turn off + lock the screen when clicked.
1. Go to App Drawer and click Display OFF application
2. Click "ENABLE" (it will ask you for permission)
3. Click "CREATE SHORTCUT"
4. Go do main screen where shortcut has been created and click the shortcut. The screen will turn off.
To Uninstall:
1. Go to App Drawer and select DIsplay OFF Minimal application
2. Click "DISABLE"
3. Then, uninstall like any other regular app.
Advantages:
1. Minimalistic: no unecessary graphics, minimal storage used.
2. Memory: the app closes after usage to free up memory.

Don't install. Installed and activated per directions. Now I cannot uninstall it. I must access the app, which I do, but when I try to open it, it crashes. Now it cannot be deactivated!

Does exactly what it claims! Only thing I don't like is that the app shortcut to editing and the shortcut to power it off has the same text plus the same icon... Fix this and I will give one more star! :-)

This app is amazing, i just love it my phone power button was not working and my phone was keep on rebooting. i somehow manged to keep phone and stop using power button . And this app simply amazing. for locking up the display i highly recoomend this app whose power button cannot be fixed.

Installed on Nexus 7. Activated, but won't open. Won't deactivate so won't uninstall. Garbage!
