ABC – Live TV & Full Episodes

Can't watch live with Dish Network. Not sure whose fault that is, but ticked off that the owners of our ABC stations are fighting with Dish & have blocked us out. We live in a rural area so we are at the mercy of them screwing us in order to get a signal.

I keep trying to log in using the correct cable information and it won't recognize my user name and password. Useless.

So glitchy... it started my show over for no reason. Can't skip ahead to get back to the spot I was watching without watch 6 f***ing commercials! AND can't go backwards in show w/o watching 6 f***ing commercials! AND AFTER WATCH THE 6 F***ING COMMERCIALS, SOMETIMES I HAVE TO WATCH 6 MORE F***ING COMMERIALS!!!!!!!

Mixed feelings on this one not the best quality at all 3x the ads as TV and almost nothing watchable from the network id say use it to watch the ep of that 1 show you actually would watch on ABC and missed then delete

Terrible app. Doesn't function as it should. Tried to start in the middle of an episode where I left off and it would not work. Continued to play commercial after commercial, after it would get through the six commercials it would start back over at 1. Then when it finally did play it started back from the beginning of the episode. Tried again and the same thing g happened with the commercials so I had to just watch it over from the beginning. You'd think a major TV network would have an app that works

Video frequently goes to black after commercials forcing you to exit the show and resume only to watch the same six commercials. It never remembers your place either and skipping to where you were forces multiple commercial breaks.

Constantly restarts episode after commercial breaks. Needs way more development.

I am typing in my correct user name and password for "Charter-Spectrum" provider when I try to sign in through both the app and the ABC website and it will not recognize it. Fix this please because it would be nice to be able to watch my shows like I'm supposed to be able to.

Unable to watch live stream of Oscars for free. What a disappointment. I don't have cable... That's why I'm trying to view the Oscars on your app. Don't ask me for a cable providers information. Anyone who downloads this app is looking for the free streaming that you advertise. What a waste of time. Uninstalling

It's useless. Thought it would work independently without signing in through my tv provider.

It's OK but it all the shows and live TV what not so great are the constant ads I get it you need ads because it's free I don't mind but do you have to play the same ones over and over again plus the app can't remember you spot if you left the app and come back to finish the show you have to find it manually after watching the same ads like five times , come on ABC seriously that's just plain lazy either do it right or don't bother at all.

You have to use your cable service's username and password to watch "live tv"?? Hey ABC, do I have to use my cable username to watch live tv broadcasts over the air? No, of course not. So why the heck would you make app users do that? Don't tie yourselves so closely to the cable companies. By trying to force people to subscribe to cable tv just to use an app to access shows that they already have access to, you have completely, 100% ensured that millions of people just like me will never use your app.

OK to watch full episodes but it often messes up and makes you watch 3 rounds of 5-6 commercials. You also can't even so much as check a text without the show stopping. I use the CW app too with much less advertising and I can at least respond to a message without the show pausing

This was horrible. I have never seen so many ads in my life. I get one or two but SIX every fifteen minutes of a 45 min long show? I don't think so. And then heaven forbid it freezes and you lose your place, and you literally have to watch every ad all over again if you try to fast forward to where you left off. I'll just wait to use my dvr at home

For the past couple of weeks, a pop up will show saying that the video player is being worked on and to come back later to view the video. It should not take 3 weeks to work on the video player. I have updated the app so that is not the problem. Please fix this problem. I am getting behind in my viewing.

I wanted to catch up on missed episodes. First sentence on here says, no login, really. Well... Guess what? I need to enter cable details to watch free over the air past episode. I enter my DirecTV now details, not valid. So.... ABC you're lying. Bad Disney bad.

I'm disappointed that your app won't work on my android tablet. It says that I need to restart so it can reauthenticate, even after restarting. For the past few days I've been getting an error code 503-2 on my android phone. It keeps wanting to connect to a different device, and closes the app out.

Was forced to upgrade an now totally useless. When asked to select service provider, as soon as I do I receive the following error message: ERROR A sign in error occured. Error Code: 400-2. A sign in error occured. Please contact us if you neex further assistance. Yeah fix this crap!!! Fixed the problem myself. I completely uninstalled the app then reinstalled and that seemed to fix the problem. This so far worked for me. This app appears to be more stable then the previous version. The new update rendered this app completely useless. Does not work at all.

I missed the first 5 mins, of When We Rise, Why did I have to download this app ??? I had to erase apps then download this. There's no search to find the show, only choices of all their crap sitcoms. I can't play the stinking first 5 minutes no matter what I do ! I missed When We Rise : the people behind the story, so I finally got that online 6 days later. UNBELIEVABLE, WOW, COUNT THEM 20 COMMERCIALS IN 23 MINUTES !!! ( No wonder I barely watch ABC ! )

DOESN'T SAVE YOUR PROGRESS WHEN WATCHING EPISODES. HAVE TO FIND THE SPOT WHERE YOU LEFT OFF MANUALLY... OH BUT NOT BEFORE WATCHING 5 ADS AFTER EVERY TIME YOU DRAG MARKER. POOR QUALITY APP.

Ads are a bit ridiculous. Took me two days to finish the last episode I finished because the sheer number of ad breaks lead me to shut down the app to do something else. I think I may be spoiled by commercial free Netflix though. Maybe if the ad sets weren't so repetitive it wouldn't be so frustrating. Variety would help. Other than that, the app is great.

Way to many adds, and if you need to go back a minute or so, you have to watch all the adds again. A 45 minute show takes 2x that to watch because the adds are so long and slow. Should have stayed on Hulu, they know how to stream a show.

Sometimes it let's me Google cast. A lot of the time the cast icon won't even show up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it does the same thing. Maybe it's a bug and they're working on a fix.

This app is the worst. There is zero customizing and if you stop watching a show in the middle there is no resume button so you have to guess where you left off and watch a million commercials while doing so.

Wow, as much as this app is advertised on TV I was expecting more. Keep getting an error trying to sign in, I know it's not my Internet because other apps work just fine. Wanted to watch the Bachelor and the eposide is not even available. The episode already came out, I expected to see the newest episode available on the app. This app needs major improvements

App never remembers where you stopped watching then if you try to fast forward it makes you watch 6 ads then most of the time will not even jump to the spot that you want. Sometimes the picture goes blank or the sound cuts out. Awful

ABC won't let me watch the Oscars because I'm not in my home network. I pay for cable, I should be able to watch easily accessible content. How can you call yourself a service provider when you have literally not provided me any service?

Have to sign in with cable provider pw to something that's free .LIVE doesn't work in my area. Really ? Other than that its pretty good oh I forgot the commercials way too many.

Oh god, how can a streaming app be worse? Everything that can go wrong does. It crashes inexplicable, barely connects to chromecast, can't control anything when it's casting. Plays the same ads over and over then plays them again (forgetting that it just played it). I swear, you would think ABC would be able to afford a halfway decent app, but looks like they gave 10 bucks to some 5 year olds to throw some random code together.

I tried to send feed back but that won't work just like the app, so I'll ask here. If over the air TV is free, why do I need a provider to watch. Just trying to get more money for free stuff?

I was using this to cast a show to my TV and accidentally exited the app. No problem, I'll just open it up again, right? But no, now I have to watch two more ads just to get back into the episode. And of course the app didn't remember where I was, so now I have to use the time bar to find my spot. Oh, I crossed over an ad line while looking for the spot, so now I have to watch 5 more ads. Whoops, went too far, need to go back a bit. Another 5 ads. OK now I'm finally ready, let me cast to the TV again. And yes, you guessed it, ANOTHER 5 ads. So now it's taken 17 ads of wasted time to get back to the spot I was just at. I never write reviews, but had to make an exception for this amazing experience. Whoever designed this app needs to be punched in the face. By the way, I wrote this review while waiting for the ads to finish, and they are still going.

The picture is constantly freezing when watching a show. I am force to pull the playback tracker backwards to get functioning visual, only for it to do it again less than a minute later. Meanwhile, the audio continues uninterrupted.

It freezes while watching an episodes. If it stops and I restart doesn't give the option to pick up where I left off. If I fast forward after the ads it says it can load and kicks back to menu screen, I did the update and it still freezes or tells me can't connect to server, please fix

Stunningly bad app. Does not recognize my spectrum/ time warner password, so stopped at the get go. Logged into my TWC / Spectrum account and confirmed that all log in data was correct. 5 thumbs down for our friends at ABC.

So many ads, but the biggest problem is the fact that anytime I have to stop and come back and watch I have to start over, it doesn't hold your place. And of I try to move forward I have to watch 6 ads evrytime I fast forward

It kills me to be told it's not provided in my area but their website clearly states that Okc, OK but you must have a subscription to Direct Tv,...I have Cox and it still doesn't give me an option to choose. This app sucks.

It would be a great app if you weren't forced to watch unnecessary commercials! Who wants to waste their time and data watching annoying commercials!!??

a total waste of my time & effort. don't bother! i wanted to watch The View as they keep interupting the program, and Whoopie always manages to make facing the day easier! it did not deliver.

I have a few apps I can connect to my Chromecast including this one. This is the only one that has poor video quality. At times it's so blurry I can't tell which character is speaking except for the voice! I'm giving up.

Too many ads!!! Its great for watching shows. Even shows from late 90s early 2000.....but way too many ads. I mean come on abc you are not hurting for $$ that u need to put in that many ads!!
