Don't but from them if you ever want support. I have paid for this 3 times and still don't have a working app. When I traded phones they won't up date it to my new phone, have sent 7 emails to every address I can find.

Does anybody know if this app is compatible with the Google Pixel? My buddy has it on his Galaxy and works great but my Pixel acts really goofy and can't figure out why???

An inclinometer should be used first. But If you don't have that... Go with this app. Hands down worth the money... And that's from someone who installs antenna every day.

Although this is no replacement for a inclinometer it is a great tool for showing a customer why a dish can or cannot go in a certain location. Who could ask for more

I worked for Dish Network as an Installation Tech for a little over 2 years. This is the EXACT same app that was preloaded on our company issues Galaxy Note smartphones. When I say EXACT I mean EXACT. It works like a charm. Because I live in a small south Texas town 65 miles south of Houston I was a Remote Tech. Although I no longer work for Dish folks here in town still call on me from time-to-time to help adjust their Dish or set it up when they move or go to deer camp, this is the app I use. It's worth the 1 time $19.99 fee.

This app works perfect for me. I have been using it for about 5 years. I have transferred it to 3 different phones, all android. If you set it up correctly, it works great. If you don't take the 20 minutes it takes to set up correctly then it's not gonna work.

Have used this app for installations both in the UK and France. Apart from an upgrade problem which was quickly sorted out by Infinity, it has been spot on. It also helped to identify a reception problem (a tree branch that had grown across the line of sight - quickly resolved). Recommended.

Dishpointer Pro does not work properly on the new Nexus phone, this phone has its sensor mounted in reverse landscape and Dishpointer Pro has not fixed this. I contacted support several times to ask for an update but there is no reply. Is Dishpointer Pro still in business or just collecting cash with no more service...

I bought a tailgater set up to use RVing and need an augmented reality fiction to check for line of site issued when I set up out on the road. The web site shows the SATs I need but the android app does not. In fact it has no section for multi LNBs like the web page. Disappointing. I spent $20 for nothing.

No replies from their support email after several attempts. Going to have credit card refund the money. Waste of time.

On my original Nexus 5 the augmented reality was brilliant, howver now I have changed to the Nexus 5x the imagery is upside down, renering this completely useless. What would also be a great feature would be if the app could show a map like the desktop version, and using the GPS from the phone, place you exactly where you are on the map, and draw the line of sight on the map. This would provide superb accuracy for judging whether you have line of sight or not, because phone compasses and inclinometers are not always perfectly calibrated.

I used it with a Nexus 5 with no problems but since getting a Nexus 5X the camera picture is now upside down making the app unusable. Google says this is because some app developers are not using the latest version of the camera API.

I have had this app for s3 it worked great but when downloaded on s4 dissapointed. It doent work at all.

The image on Nexus 5x is flipped upside down. That's due to g sensor of these phones. It will be the same with all Nexus phones after 5x. Need some workaround.

Relies on phone's magnetic field sensor. Is therefore useless if working with steel dishes. Installed a month before I could install dish, otherwise would have asked for refund.

This app i use for work on a daily basis and is very very accurate on my devices i rely on this to determine if a customer gets our service

Forget the inclinometer grab this app! It takes the guessing out of Line of Sight issues! Very accurate! Highly recommended for any Sat Tech...DISH..DirecTv!

I find it very useful when there is an obstacle close to my line of site and i can locate the best spot to place the dish. As a purchased app the best one because in the real world you need to be able to see the sat listed and this app does this in bright light or low light. Because some you need a magi fire to see it.

Gave the appearance the satellite was moving around the sky! Every time it was reset, the satellite appears in a different location. Not for me, wouldn't recommend

Have been using this app for long time but last few weeks is not showing any satellite in horizon. My selected satellites are nowhere in horizon. Uninstall and install the app again but still bo joy.

Not worth $20. I need an App that works everytime, not just sometimes. Still not showing satellites as I write this..

Never starts right up, calibrate every time, azimuth off, half the time satellites don't even show up..liked older version much better

I have been using this app for several years. I am happy with the results I just wish they would add ViaSat 1.

This app sucks for $20 sucks.I'm a satellite installer and I've had this for years now. ITS VERY UNRELIABLE!!! 99% of the time its wrong. I pointed at the ground still says 45 for elevation???

No time to loose if I'm not sure this app will take a doubts aside

Best app ever. I installed dishes for living. I've been using this app more than 4 years now and I've installed thousands dishes with ease. I've been to jobs where technician was before and said no line of site but with this app I have been able to completed such jobs. Love it. Money well spent.

I have been in the satellite business for 17 yrs now. Every other time I use, it won't work like should. I have to delete app then reinstall again. They would sell this much easier at $5-$10. It's definitely not worth $20. Does not have a few dish net current satellites. Will not let me update satellites in list. HTC one max

I work in satellite uplink and am often in different locations trying to hit various birds. Checking for line of sight obstructions before deploying my dish is awesome and a time saver.

I have used this app at more than 200 job sites and I wouldn't use anything else. Money well spent.
