Velocity GO

90 % of the time the ap just hangs with a black screen. When it works it works great, but it just so rarely works. Most of the 5 star ratings are on the same day with no description, obviously bot ratings. I was told it was fixed. Worked one time and then same thing. Black screen and crash

Too often I get a blank black screen instead of a splash screen. And never anything else. The only fix is too clear cache and delete data and reload. This is true for all discovery channel apps.

I wanted to watch seasons 4-7 of Inside West Coast Customs and can only get season 5.

The thing is nothing but commercials. There is 3 minutes of ads before you start, then every 10 minutes there are nothing but ads. If you try to start where you left off you have to watch another 5 minutes of ads. Then you scroll thru to find where you left off and guess what, 3 more minutes of ads. Get real people. You suck.

App is useless. Have to have paid tv and there is no dish network

The commercials are way to long and frequent when the app will work that is.

No support for Verizon FiOS

Works as advertised. Works with Chromecast seamlessly. Other TV apps take notice or get deleted.

Constant, annoying, unwatchable buffering while playing content. The buffering magically disappears for commercials. Very interesting.

Won't open black screen with rotating circle. Uninstalled.

UPDATE: 5/3/17 It looks like they have released an update that for me fixes the black screen on startup. I'm no longer having to stop and clear cache / data. So far so good. Major improvement. So I'm changing my rating. Like other reviewers, this app very frequently hangs with a black screen. If I clear the app cache and data - or if I uninstall and reinstall, the app resumes working. Of course doing that, I have to relog back in with cable provider info. A real pain in the rump but if I want to watch something on Velocity away from home, I have no choice. Sure wish the goobers would fix this situation.

You can't sign in through Verizon Fios to see "locked episodes.....really!?! Fios isn't even listed as a provider on the rather long list of internet providers. I'm pretty sure Fios is both older AND larger then Velocity....

Every time I start to use it it won't work and all I get is a black screen. If I uninstall and reinstall it works but that's kind of a pain in the ass.

Would like to have the app automatically move on to the next episode. It's A great app and easy to use.

Directv is a mess. I had it for years now. It was great tell at&t bought it. Now its a mess. When you call for help they barley can speak English and they transfer you from one person to the other and none help. This app might work well on any other carrier but not Directv. Also everytime I want to watch a show I have to sign-up again.

I really like that I can watch episodes of my favorite shows that I missed. My only real issue is that the app takes too long to open, and I have noticed this with other Discovery Channel apps.

There is no excuse to ever miss any of these dream builds velocity provides for us .....time well spent !!!!

They take a 30min show on regular tv and add 15min of ads now a 30 min show is 45m. Not worth it.
