Science Channel GO

Pros: Live stream sci channel. Watch past episodes of many of the most popular shows. Good video quality. Cons: Constantly have ambiguous error messages on start up "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again." This is a HUGE issue for me... esp on wifi? If the video buffers too much, see previous error. Seems like a lot of commercials for a streaming app... not a huge deal, but not everyone has unlimited data. Other thoughts: a pay for commercial free viewing of previously aired shows would be nice. UPDATE: Seems the error issue is resolved +2, I'd still like to see a pay option for commercial free replays, but other than that and the occasional blackout of certain live streaming programs, the app is excellent!

A wonderful app for catching up on little known treasures and finding completely new ones. One issue - DirecTv does not support all the shows.

No FIOS so uninstalling. Without a fios link it simply does NOTHING - don't bother to install it if your TV provider is FIOS

It's ok, but there is still a bit of a problem that really bothers me. Whenever I try to sign in with my TV provider it will say there was a problem authenticating. And it says this always. This makes it impossible for me to even to sign in. And to basically watch ANY show on the app, I have to sign in. I wouldn't suggest it. Plus I'm still waiting for them to add BattleBots.

Have to become a member to watch almost anything. When you are sighing up, it doesn't have a lot of popular TV servicers.but if you have COX or somthing like that, you could get it and make it work.

It's horrible the home screen never loads and I couldn't watch shows even when I log in. I do not recommend.

I truly love the science channel, but without Verizon as a current option, I will uninstall and await the seemingly implosible day that they change this.

Annoying frequent and lengthy commercials are very irritating

I will rank a lot higher when you get the app to open properly everytime. It will work one time then the next time you open it I get a black screen until the phone goes into sleep mode

It has adds that you can't fast forward through but has a huge collection of every episode

Love science, but way too much commercials

I got this app a while ago and it worked and it was nice. Lately the app updated and it will not load on my Galaxy S5. I tried opening it and closing it, uninstalling and reinstalling, and restarting my device. It will still not load. It is just a black screen that never goes away. Discovery go and Velocity go work though. I would recommend this is you have a different model of phone.

Science Channel is one of my favorite channels to watch, but Dish Network is not supported with their app. How is one of the biggest cable providers not supported? You can still watch a few episodes without signing in, but the commercial breaks are incredibly long for an online streaming service, which is a little frustrating.

Great content and it supports Chromecast. The main problem for me is that it has some crazy long commercial breaks. 200 seconds every break and they are basically the same commercials too. And if you leave the app during the commercial it restarts the entire 200 seconds again!

Same trash as AHC. If you have PS Vue you won't have access to anything new despite it saying "sign in to access all shows" "It's FREE with your TV subscription". Well that's not misleading or anything. Why do you even list Vue? What is wrong with you people? I might just have to retake Western Europe again for these atrocities.

Despite the reviews, I downloaded this app necause I love watching these shows. I have the Science channel on Direct TV.. I choose Direct TV on the app and it says to click to log in. I click and it logs in and tells me i do not have Science on Direct TV. I'm watching NASA's unexplained files on Science right now on SCIENCE channel in my living room as i do this. BAD app.. Uninstalling.

I don't have tv where I live so I was very excited about this app. I loved the show I was trying to watch, but it literally had 3 minutes of commercial for every 6 minutes of video. I made it half way through one video before I have up. Very disappointed.

I want this application but they don't have Charter Communications FYI Charter Spectrum. Not happy I pay a lot of money for cable so I would think my provider would have been listed but it's not. No hard feelings on science app Charter sucks I guess.

How it's made dream cars is a great show. Too bad you have to endure the stupid rock music behind the narration.

Downloaded it and they don't even have charter as one of the providers. Probably a good idea to get all things in order before launching an app. Very disappointed in this.

Dish is currently not listed, and 4 min commercial breaks every 8 min is "MTV" territory. Ridiculous.

"We're sorry. We have encountered a problem while playing the video. Please try again later." That's the message you see after 2 minutes of trying to watch any video on the science channel app.
