Discord - Chat for Gamers

Edit: Latedt update broke the app. Wont even open now. Have to reinstall it and it only works briefly. I love what it does but there are soooooo many problems with it. So many bugs. Its so poorly optimised too. Voice chat is buggy, does not connect when there is a free space, attachments magically disappearing when being sent, typing long messages is awful as it always lags, and scrolling through paragraphs you typed is frustrating. Inserting emojis is laggy as hell. Plus many other problems.

Recent update messed up the voice chat on my Android phones! Keeps saying I'm disconnected when I hop in a call. It worked perfectly before the update. EDIT: Had to restart my phone 3 times in order for it to finally work. I suggest rebooting your phone after every future update.

This last update stop me from being able to send links to chat it is happen every.. did get help from chat and now rather thin just hitting share button and clicking discord i now have to copy to clipboard and paste. I used to beable to just click share and discord. For aby like youtube vids or websites amozon stuff. Just happen sence update was able to share this morring.. at noon it updated and now i cant with out the work around

I have to praise the Discord development team, I always do when discussing these topics with people. They've come far with many aspects like the stunning VoIP quality, the astonishing and praised amount of control over settings and the beautiful integrations with other apps and games.

The app is very useful for what it does, the only problem I have is that I drop calls after a certain amount of time out of the app. It doesn't matter if syncing or data saver is on or not, it really annoys me as it completely restarts the app. If this issue is fixed for my zte blade zmax I'd be really grateful.

Since the latest update, it has begun taking incredibly long times to load. I can swipe left or right to see my text channels but the discord logo remains present on the screen. If fixed will change my rating as I do love this app.

The app takes a while longer to open up now, even with a good phone and internet connection. At first, I thought it was only on my end until I found out that a few people have been having almost the same issues.

Great and getting better! As you'd expect from a beta app, Discord has a few bugs to work out, but for the most part it's really solid! Just one thing: stop the annoying trend of "desktop version does more!" Add in the mobile version's missing features already!

It's a good app, but lately in one particular server, it says that there are no text channels, even though the other members in the server say there is, and the next day the text channels are there. Or only a few of the text channels can be seen. I'm the only one in the server with this specific problem

I can't even connect to calls anymore after the update. This is the first and only time this has happened. I have restarted and messed with everything, but to no avail.

Recent update won't let me connect to voice calls. I see other android users are having same issue!

Great but there is a bug that doesnt seem to go away, cant clear cache, reinstall doesnt work, and it isnt apparent on desktop. Im pointi g out that there's notificications, you k ow those red numbers, i viewed them already bur wont go away at all, marking as read wont make them go away. The app is good and simple but this bug is annoying.

Only thing I dislike is you can only change your picture once, before they make you wait 20mins to change it again if needed. We should be able to switch our photos as much as we want without any hassle since it's our display picture. It's an excellent app otherwise!!

It's perfect. . When used on the PC. But on the phone its a nightmare, constant "retry message" and once you do it 10 times, it'll post the same message at least twice or more. Connection issues all the time (Fine connection with other apps). It really needs fixing.

Been using for 500ish users with a bot for custom commands to organize ad hoc gatherings about a year now, it just works. They keep improving, and there's useful controls and flexibility of function.

After this last update I have lost the ability to use voice chat. I can't her people on speaker anymore. Very frustrating when I need to communicate while driving at times and it's illegal to text and drive. Could be a life saver if it would work...literally.

Fix the app please! It's soo laggy. I can't even scroll or change server smoothly now. Also a bug with the tag, it's not gone when you have read it. It still there and making me annoyed by it lol. Disappointed by this update :'(

Its a great opportunity to get some help when i need some. One problem i have faced a few times is a mentions glitch, where the mentions would still be marked but there would be no sign of any new msg

Most recent update has a bug that stops the voice chat in the voice channels. Have tried it on both cellular network and mobile phones. Have also tried it on a tablet which also had the same issue. Have even tried it on the girlfriends phone which had the same issue since the most recent update. Normally love this app as I can stay it touch with friends especially when I'm out of doors but the update has broken the voice chat feature.

after the new update i cant connect to the voice chat..i can hear my friends talking but i cant talk to them..please solve this problem as soon as possible and i will give 5 star for sure

It's absolutely great, but.. I updated it yesterday, and I'm pretty irked to find out I can no longer turn off storing unsent texts per channel. It's a really annoying feature in my opinion, and I've never liked it. Otherwise, the app is incredible though. Keep up the good work! Edit to reply: I'm afraid I can't change that. Oh well. Thanks you for the response. Even if I can't fix it, at least I know what's going on now.

confirming what others have said, the app no longer allows you to 'share' content, despite the app still showing up as a share option on most sites (such as imgur and reddit), clicking said app in there share menu simply opens it, previously it would also paste a link to the content in the active chat window.

Please work on notifications. Sometimes I don't receive them, and they're styled like in iOS. Look at Hangouts notifications.

Fantastic social platform for both private and public groups. It takes the best things from both Skype and Team Speak and adds onto it, even better in a mobile app that looks clean, neat and professional without being a resource hog.

I've been using discord for a long time and they have released a new update that does not allow me to enter any voice calls on mobile/tablet and 2 other friends have the same issue

This was a nice app until I noticed that in my keyboard there are I that I hadn't frequently used in my frequently used section! Please fix it! It's creeping me out.

why if i playing game.. discord will disconnect automatic.. then icannot palying game with discord... hope u know the reason...

App crashes and restarts when I try to send a picture/screenshot. Otherwise it's mostly stable.

It is fun and all, but I seem to have came across something where I can't see any pictures. I also don't know if it's just my phone or it's the app.

It is a good app but today I had a problem where I couldn't hear anyone else and they couldn't hear me as well and everyone else using discord could hear each other perfectly. This was the first time this happened. PLEASE LOOK INTO IT.

It's great I think you should add a record and it records you're screen and you can share it on discord or Youtube! Keep up the good work Discord!

So much fun finding people who are into the same games. And the app just runs so well with my daily life in gaming.

Loves to freeze and crash phone with new update. Still working for text chat. No longer useful for my needs.

Need to fix your app, I can't chat in a 3rd discord group because you want me to verify my email, I click send verify email link and I check my Gmail and their is no email anywhere, don't tell me to check the spam folder because I have and it's not in spam or normal inbox, there is not an email to be found, fix this ridiculous bug

Tons of features and always more coming. Recent Spotify integration is fantastic. Games, emojis, gifs, screen share. And all free! My favorite app for communication. Although The paid nitro doesn't add much for the cost. I bought it just to support this great Dev team. The deserve it

Tolong la fix kan masalah lag kat discord ni mengacau bila tengah main @mobile legend...awal game sedap lagi tapi bila sampai mid game punah hancur lag punya pasal team dah best dh tapi hancur disebabkan lag discord..if there have 0.1 ???? i will give ..TOOO BADDD PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR MAINTENANCE..
