The content is amazing and insightsful, but the app is not very helpful. You cannot read in offline (provided by others) and cannot save articles. It's a pitty because I think this is an extremely good journal.

Advertisements are annoying still Its one of my favourite one

The app does not work at all. It needs lots of improvement. What's the use of great content if you just can not read it.

Offline reading is not available not even for subscription .It's literally diplomatic .

Well, hmm, The Diplomat is the best opinion based international mag I have ever read. Top notch editorials on this one. A wonderful product for folks world-wide. It's got content writer's from a myriad of liberal democratic societies. Indeed a high on quality publication.

UPDATE: 2016-03-07 I contacted customer service and the problem was fixed!-------------------------------------------- i paid for a yearly subscription on this device & later sent an email to thediplomat to figure out why i couldn't 'activate my account' to read issues on other devices, and a week later when the app updated i realized it was made easier so i follow the instructions and created an account using my Play store email address, but it doesn't give me any option to download anything at all.

UPDATED REVIEW: The new app is great! Very simple and clean navigation; very easy and quick to access the (as always, excellent) content. Thank you to the excellent and responsive developers and to the brilliant content producers! Review upgraded from 1 star to 5. Two requests for future versions, if there's room in the development pipeline: -It'd be great to also get the blog content through the app, if it's not too difficult. That would cut down on the need for users having to go to both the website as well as the app to see all the content. -It would also be great to get a morning summary of new content, much like how The Economist Espresso works.

App seems decently made, first issue downloaded well and looked good. I can't seem to find a way to sign-in and I am not about to buy the issues when I paid for a subscription.

Update: The recent update solves issues I had with downloading. Love the Diplomat content and pleased that the app is in working order now

Please please please add the option to enlarge the font. You offer 5-star content, but this tiny font makes it so incredibly painful to read on devices with large high-resolution screens (Galaxy Note 4, Nexus 7/9).

But you give your articles free on Facebook so why don't you upload them on Flipboard or other magazine app so we could read it . as Facebook is free and Flipboard also. And whoone want to buy premiar pack they can on this app directly . . .what you say. . . .upload it on magazine app

A professor introduced me to your website and I loved it, but when you made the app a subscribers only version .. To be honest I found it to be greedy, you can have ads but make it free or you'll lose a hell lot of people. Waiting for a day when it's gonna be free.

Have downloaded the 2nd issue a couple of times, and none of them worked. All pages blank except the cover and cover story pages. The first issue worked great though. On a nexus 5

Firstly I thought this app taking all the issues on one platform. But to read all the issues you have to first download it. It is taking more time to load than usual. Also the absence of region wise issues makes this app even more worse. You need to work more on all the aspects guys.
