K8055 Demo (Free Ver) for Android
Lib pls. Whiny little 1 stars, go back to the beginning and read the bloody description.
This was $10 at RadioShack
Even with the smaller screen. Whats that other guys problem.
Tested on an LG Optimus Pro G, using a generic USB OTG interface cable connected to a K8055. This app worked flawlessly, and is actually more functional than the standard PC demo program, giving simultaneous independent access to all the inputs and outputs. There is a notable delay, as there is with the PC deos program, but a little fiddling with the polling time provided some improvement. The full view (tablet mode) does not work on this "phablet" device- the resolution is more than adequate but Android's mapping produces the overlapping control issue noted. This does not, however, in any way reduce the capability of the app- the other screens provide all the functionality.
Very useful if you know how to use this stuff & understand what the app is for. If it does not work for you, then it's more likely that it's the user than the app. Everyone needs to read & understand stuff before they download apps to just play. Not all stuff is used to play. This app is great & I hope for future developments from here.
Doesn't even fit on screen. No instructions, cant read button labels cos they are overlapping. Very poor effort, total waste of time. Samsung Galaxy S3
Does what it says

I've a GalaxyS3 and a generic "4-in-1" USB adaptor bought on Amazon, found that this works best if the adaptor is plugged in and the app is running THEN attaching the USB connector from the board. I agree with the developer that this isn't for casual users, but then, if you've built your K8055 board yourself then you're unlikely to be a casual user! Works exactly as described by the developer.
