Will not work with Pixel running OS 7.1.2, cuts off 90% of call button and when call is placed just loops back to dialer. Called Switchvox support absolutely NO help, was told "buy a different model Android phone, they can not be expected to test with all of the different models of Android phones on the market" Ouch!

I used to use and Iphone and had this app on that phone. Recently I switched to a Pixel and installed this app. I love it. Since I travel a great deal, I really want all of the things I have on my desk phone, like the ability to record calls, transfer calls, my voice mail, and for me having all my contacts quickly available is great.

After 10 minutes the app doesn't seem to work anymore except for by chance here and there unless you re-open the app. Then for another 10ish minutes. It worked fine on my recalled note7 but my s7 edge is not liking it as mentioned above.

It seems to register okay, then becomes unregistered. It simply doesn't work. After awhile, the app stops responding.

Moto X (1st Gen) - The app starts and shows the blue "Initializing" screen, but never presents me with a QR scanner or any menu options. This would be an awesome addition to our company, but we can't implement it if it's not functional at all. If this ever gets fixed, I'll update the review; until then, 1 star!

Took me a while to find the QR code to get it set up. Link in email is a dodgy IP address instead of a domain. Have to override browser security settings to get there. Terrible UI and UX.

No ability to manually enter server info. Must scan QR code.

Still broken. Reported this to support well over 6 months ago.

It's great

I reported that this app did not work with the Nexus 6P way back in December, and still, there's been no update that has fixed this app. Really, how can you put an app in the store that is simply broken and leave it there for eight months? While the basic design looks great for this, it is not the slightest bit functional yet. If you want a phone system with a robust and reliable softphone app, go elsewhere. Digium needs to commit more resources to getting this fully functional.

It shouldn't be hard to update this app to work. While it may be free. We are still paying $70 per year for an extension license. No update in mo this is unacceptable.

Once it configured, it locked up my phone and I had to hard reset it. When I tried to open the app after reboot it wouldn't open.

We have been using Switchvox for several years and throughout this time Digium have been unable to come up with a reliable Android client. After giving up on the previous effort Switchvox mobile, we were excited to try Switchvox Softphone. The functionality is great and would almost suit our needs perfectly... if only it were stable! The only thing reliable about this application is that it will crash your phone within a few hours of starting the app - and crash it in a bad way such that the phone completely locks up and needs a power cycle to function again. This is on a Nexus 6P, with only a handful of other basic applications installed. Anecdotally the crash seems to be more likely to occur if switching between WiFi and mobile networks. We will raise this as a support issue, and if things improve I will update this review (4 or 5 stars). As it stands, the application is useless, particularly for business use. We also have experienced regular problems with audio quality on the outgoing channel from the app, however I'm not convinced that this is a fault of the application or other network issues.

Doesn't work on samsung S7 edge with android 6

Can't find a QR code to use to login. Why won't this accept user's extension and password like the older application? No help online at all.

The latest version fixed the issues. Using a BlackBerry PRIV which is fully updated the newest version crashes constantly.

Seems to work fine. Needs lock screen notification and option when making outgoing calls to choose GSM or SV

Decent so far... however, voicemail often shows "No Voicemail" even though I have a bunch of voicemails in my mailbox... Status options are also not showing up (list is blank). Hopefully they can fix these bugs soon. On a Canadian Carrier Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Android 5.1.1.

With sv 6 works very nice. Just needs speakerphone button when in call and a lock screen notification instead of staying black while ringing.

I have tried and failed on both marshmallow and N

Can't use on my android phone

But there are still a few bugs that make it unusable. Each time you open the app, you get notifications for all voicemail, I have hundreds of unread. Also the app hangs onto the proximity sensor even when on the home screen and turns the screen off when your finger is close. Keep up the good work, it's almost there.

Needs notification options. (Sound, vibrate, time of day) Needs ability to silence ringer on incoming call. Needs to be able to access all mailbox folders (recordings etc...)
