by B####:

I've always had trouble sleeping and I had this app on my old phone and absolutely loved it. It helped me so much. When I got a new phone, I tried finding this app but couldn't and I finally have! This app is so amazing. I had another one downloaded for awhile but it in no way compared to this. There are a few glitches (filter blips off for 2 or so seconds when switching apps, etc). Other than that, this is great. :)

M70%
by M####:

I would love to set a time so that it comes on by itself. Right now I have to log into there app for that to happen

B70%
by B####:

Unadjustable purge hour like time setting (7to7) dayworkers must adjust daytime settings otherwise filter is on 24. Notification always on phone may be able to bypass

N70%
by N####:

I LOVE! Night shift is easy to use and figure out. It is simple and I think that if you are internet addicted and then cant sleep, this is the perfect app for you!

I70%
by I####:

Could have an option for color adjustment. Otherwise the best blue light blocker app available.

M70%
by M####:

The whole point of this app is supposedly to get better sleep...but when the app is opened, it becomes very pushy about feeding you information via a fast scrolling set of slides that are very distracting...and rather self defeating. Fail.

M70%
by M####:

On my 5x the automatic option does not seem to work. The adjustability w/r intensity is effective but having to manually turn the filter on and off is disappointing.

M70%
by M####:

Needs work. Fast. I hope who Can find the Glitches?

M70%
by M####:

Can't change anything about time... shuts down with a lot of apps or glitches and have to manually put it on a lot as it doesn't self activate. Disappointing

R70%
by R####:

1.when I close the app it closes the app function and it takes few seconds to again apply effect of fliter. 2.when I scroll the yellow color of the fliter is more when scrolling. It also a bug

M70%
by M####:

Sometimes the filter crashes. Hope you read and fix this, good app though

O70%
by O####:

The app itself Works fantastic for filtering out Bluelight the only problem is it doesn't switch automatically on its own between night and day time settings this issue needs to be fixed

M70%
by M####:

This app suck cause it made my internet connection weaker so turned it off to play normally 1like=you hate this app

M70%
by M####:

If there is a way to turn off an ever-present notification saying that this app is on, it would be getting 5.

M70%
by M####:

Needs more work glitchy doesn't rlly last 12 hours night mood but isok

M70%
by M####:

Keeps switching off randomly, dont like that i have to reselect day or night filter each morning and night

M70%
by M####:

Kept turning on and off randomly. Also I couldn't set the time for automatically turning on. Default is 7 PM. I want it to be 9 PM.

N70%
by N####:

The feature I've seen on the new iPhone OS is better than the cover-all filter on this app. You loose a lot of black with this app which makes it harder to read text. However, I have noticed less disruption during sleep at night and it is easier to fall asleep. Functionally, it works as advertised. Less eye strain and better nights sleep. The app itself is easy to use. You can set it for day and night to automatically turn on. It occasionally blips off and on when switching apps.

U70%
by U####:

I love that it doesn't require unnecessary permissions. I would give five stars if it weren't so unstable. The filter randomly shuts off quite often, even though it's still turned on. Please fix stability for five stars.

H70%
by H####:

They failed to make this app when in fact it should have been easy. It's simplified to the point that it would only fit a small market of the vast users of android devices. You can only adjust the auto adjust times to 7pm - 7am. And vice versa. What if we want to adjust the hours to which we want it to shift?... your SOL. Simply put. Works. But with something so simple they still managed to mess it up.

U70%
by U####:

Seems to work at random and doesn't automatically switch at the hard coded day/night times. It's does seem to block blue light tho (or at least makes the screen colours warmer)

U70%
by U####:

I'm uninstalling because the filter doesn't automatically switch itself on and off at the stated times. As other reviewers have said the black is a bit pale but to me it's acceptable if the filter worked automatically. Pity because it's a nice simple app.

L70%
by L####:

My doctor told me my eyes absorb more blue light and are making me extremely light sensitive. On to of that I have had massive eye strain causing me terrible headaches. So I got some Rose tinted glasses and this app and I haven't had a migrane since. Love this app. So worth it.

U70%
by U####:

Also, could have an option for color definition. Otherwise the best blue blocker app available.

S70%
by S####:

Great app. I'm already sleeping better. The only thing I would change is the info scroll at the top of your homepage. It really goes too fast to read each box completely. If you could slow that down that would be great.

U70%
by U####:

While the app does exactly what was promised in providing an effective blue light filter, it would be nice to be able to set the "Day" and "Night" ranges instead of it simply having them be 7 to 7. Besides that nitpick, it's a good application.

U70%
by U####:

It does what it is supposed to do, but it is buggy. It often turns off and doesn't cover the entire screen after being rotated. Blacks also need to be deeper.

Keep up the good work devs. This app and a night screen app that makes the screen even darker than normal go hand in hand this really helps with sleep and eyesight and doesn't blind me in the middle of the night

U70%
by U####:

The filter stops working within a couple minutes whenever I use the Dolphin browser--no error message or anything. Unfortunately that's the app I'm most likely to be using while I want the night filter enabled. I do very much appreciate that the app doesn't demand all kinds of unreasonable permissions, though. Decent app, but I hope you can fix the instability I'm experiencing.

X70%
by X####:

App likes to randomly restart so I sometimes get flashes of unfiltered light when browsing at night. Also, it doesn't switch from day to night automatically, or vice versa, I need to go into the app and do it manually.

U70%
by U####:

The app doesn't seem to refresh the time so won't change into night mode at 7p. So far when I manually enter it into night mode it works. My eyes seem less tired. Update - I've been using the app for about a month. It turns off randomly which is annoying.

U70%
by U####:

I would love to set a time so that it comes on by itself. Right now I have to log into there app for that to happen

Y70%
by Y####:

Does what it says it does but it is a bit glitchy and sometimes cuts in and out randomly. It does relax my eyes though so that's nice.

U70%
by U####:

Haven't persuaded it to work for long enough to see if it makes any difference. Reverts to standard colours after 30 to 60 seconds.

U70%
by U####:

Like the concept but time slot is limited, though it doesn't keep to time anyway, and it flips in and out of filter mode at will. Going to stick with it a little longer and hope it improves.... [edit: uninstalling ]

U70%
by U####:

My favorite color is not orange but I like the way it makes my phone look at night because it makes the from Orange and I like orange better than the blue light because it makes me sleeep

U70%
by U####:

Reverts to normal colors after phone is locked/unlocked. Have to press the app icon again to activate the filter. Also reverts on its own after a few minutes. Nice idea, bad execution. Galaxy 4s.

S70%
by S####:

I've just set the light setting & already it's like a natural light rather than fluorescent light. My eyes aren't straining looking at the screen.

E70%
by E####:

A suggestion, add percentage so that user will know how many percent of filter they are adjusting. And it's good that your app doesn't require amy permission.
