My journey with making my own homemade lotion bars came when my son said he wish they made lotion on a rope or something that he could carry in his pocket. Well, with that being said I researched how to make a lotion bar and ordered all the essential ingredients to produce my own. In September 2013, I made my first batch of lotion bars and gave them to family and friends to try. The response was so overwhelmingly positive that I decided to launch my own business thus EvenlynMarie Naturals was born.

The mission of EvenlynMarie Naturals is to provide my customers with the highest quality products. I want you all to know that each batch of Lotion Bars are made with some of the finest natural oils and butters from around the world. After you purchase my products, I’m confident that you will fall in the love with natural.

In addition, to lotion bars I also decided to launch my t-shirt line "Brown NeeNee" (which I affectionately named my inner child). Using my natural hair journey as inspiration I commissioned an artist named Phoenix to bring my visions to life. I create taglines/slogans which challenge society’s misconception about natural hair in humorous manner.
