House Call Doctor

Never again. Worst medical service I have ever received. Took me repeating my address more than ten times before the call back service agreed that it was existed. Pointless questions such as offering to send the doctor to another address instead and refusing to admit my regular GP practice existed. Refused to take off shoes. Doctor accompanied by security guard who was rude and aggressive and again forced me to repeat my date of birth name address (which he was at) etc. Prescribed antibiotics for a cold and then refused to write a sick note for work telling me to go to my GP for that.

App has a few issues with DOB particularly the YOB , not working correctly on 1st patient entered. Use a scroll bar it's quicker.

Have ever experienced every time I have called they say sorry we dont service this areay but it says it does on the website or sorry there are no doctors avalable at the moment like im not kidding i have called multiple times and been told this everytime waste of time bothering with these people absolutely furious !!!!!

Very thankful to all of the team at House Call Doctor tonight. They let me know from the time of booking through the House Call Doctor App that my booking had been confirmed, then I received a text to confirm I had been accepted by the doctor in my area and a short time later received a call to tell me we'd be seen within the hour & we were! This was a godsend to me as a very worried mummy with a very unwell little girl. Given medication on the spot & enough to get us through the night. Thank you!!!!

Starting at 6pm they usually arrive within 3 hours, they call to inform of approximate arrival time,friendly,courteous,well trained doctor,great if sick and can't make regular gp hours,send full report back to your regular gp.

I work in Disability care. Tried to call and could hear the lady perfectly but she couldn't hear us. Downloaded the app to make an appt. Made appt and told would call in 10 mins but 1hr later no call. Did same thing again with 2 other bookings i tried to make. No call back. I finally called them again and got someone and they said that because i had put a home number instead of a mobile number in that was why no one had called. My workplace doesn't have a mobile number. Fix it please

Dont bother waited for 3 hours for someone to call us back to advise of arrival time. My 8 month was coughing really badly and i was getting really worried. Gave up after 3 hours and cancelled the doctor only to finally get a call saying the doctor was coming out. Its now 5pm and still no one came. We called them at 11 this morning

To choose date of birth is ridiculous have to step backwards from today's date to get to 1980, just crazy

I rang 13sick operator asks whats my name, my 1st name is easy but my surname confused the operator. Go figure READING wow it really stumbled him, then after i explained why I'd called the service he than asks a retarded question. Where's the swelling on my body ? As i listened in total disbelief thinking is this guy for real, clearly stated that I've got a large polyp that's very PAIN FULL, he said no doctor would be able to come for many hours, and they don't provide any narcotics. What the far & high I've said I'm in pain, am I to just think the doctor is a magician and they'll make it magically disappear. What an absolute tool. At end of call he stated I don't think we need to come to you, I cut him off and relied it was ok as I'm going to the ER. Last time I called the operator was good Go came quick & was helpful. Anyway stepping of the soap box.

App is ok but dbl check all info. The service itself i wouldn't recommend at all! The first and last time i would ever use this service! Its now midnight and with two call previously to the center rand again to find out the call was cancelled bc no they'd supposedly come to my place and there were no lights or answer from me! Well i live in a unit where the dogs next door bark and i have inly just turned off the light in lounge room and in the bathroom. Also was disconnected as i apologised for taking my annoyance out on the operator.NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL AND NOT HAPPY JAN!! USE ANOTHER AFTER HRS DR SERVICE!

Don't bother wasting your time downloading this app, customer service couldn't get contact details fixed on 3 seperate occasions

Although promoted as an alternative to seeing a regular GP, if you have a permanent condition their service is limited as they don't establish the same level of history and background to refer to each visit like a regular GP does. Ok if you have Flu etc I would imagine.
