AccuBattery for Android
Such a well made app. The design, institution hints, everything in perfectly logical order of introducing the user not only to the new app, but most importantly to the whole concept of proper battery care. It's truly rare to see something like that. Got a pro version within minutes (something I never do so fast). Sorry I could only could afford the first donation option.. it deserves more.
Very useful and informative app. But it would be nice if it could restart itself when the recent apps are cleared. Otherwise it leaves big gaps in the usage history. Also, when looking at a discharge cycle, it lists which apps have used the battery and how much, which is great. It would be nice if the app added everything up and showed you the history for a week/month, something like that. That being said, it's still a very good app.
Does not do anything that other free apps don't already do. I bought the pro version and highly regret it, the added functions are minimal. It doesn't even show process names and the app list is rough. The interface is nice and modern but if you are looking for something detailed, this is not for you. Good to track charging times and battery cycles (it's not the only app) but avoid if you want to track battery draining processes. Pro version not worth the money.
What a wealth of information this app provides! I'm not sure about the usability of the charge alarm, though. It is a known fact in the lithium battery industry that charging only up to 80-90% capacity will extend the battery life. However, that refers to the "actual" capacity of the cell. Since this is known to the industry, most of the good device manufacturers have already factored it into the device power management circuitry. In other words, when you charge your phone to "full", it actually charges it to only about 90% and when the warning tells you that you have only 1% left in your battery, it actually has 5% or 10% for that matter in your battery. I am quite certain this isn't considered by this app.
hi. indeed a good app. does what it says. however, I have a few suggestions. 1) please have the option to use alarm volume so that the phone will still ring even in vibration mode 2) please have the option to remove the battery icon notification from the status bar and notification centre. ( some phone like S7 has the option to put the app under unmonitored apps so that the background process won't be killed. )
Great app, detailed, only missing a battery usage/charging graph, similar to the stock android but zoomable, with more details. It'd be more visual than just looking at the data. Other than that, it's very user friendly. For some reason it doesn't start automatically when reboot/start up the phone (Oneplus 5), probably just a switch somewhere I couldn't find.
Just bought the pro version, and am excited to utilize all of the features AccuBattery offers. What a wealth of information! I may update after using it for a few days and letting the app collect more info on my phone and my usage. Is there a way to remove the notifications from the lock screen? I've tried the "show on secure lockscreen" toggle but to no avail.
I've used many battery monitors over the years and I can fully say this is the best, no doubt. I've had a small issue after I upgraded to nougat. I get negative ma values when charging. A fix for this should be easy, but it doesn't impact performance. Maybe you could allow an option to chose ma monitoring method as other apps do. Thank you for this great app! Edit: Thank you, that fixed it!
This application does everything it says it does and just a little more. If you are looking for something to tell you exactly how your battery has degraded over time its health based on math & science this is for you. If you want in-depth application train information or infinite settings to control functionality (even with the Pro features), you are likely to find yourself wanting.
Great app and very useful. While I am not sure how accurate the health feature is I like having it as a guide. This app has made me be more conscious of how and when I charge my phone battery, which should help extend its life. For me the only thing missing is a graph of battery history, I like this visual of how I have charged and used the phone over a time period.
Awesome battery monitor app. Got this because having a Galaxy S8+ with a non changeable battery, I wanted to keep it healthy as much as I could. This app will tell you EVERYTHING about your battery you would want to know EXCEPT it does not have a cycle counter. I leave one other battery app installed also JUST to keep an approximate count on my charge cycles for my battery, I hope the developer add this soon.
It works well. I wish it had more per-app statistics rather than an at-a-glance system, correct me if I'm wrong.. Also I used GSam and liked the "past 15 minutes" usage feature which told you how quickly or slowly you would drain your battery if you continued using your device the same way. I'd like to be able to customize the notification a bit more. Pro is worth it, the AMOLED theme is beautiful. Aside from that the app is very pleasing to look at and gives you helpful information about what certain numbers mean.
The stock Android battery monitor was really only showing a quarter of the story hiding most of the usage in Android OS. this makes it much clearer and provides strategies to extend battery life. Worked wonders on my battery burning galaxy S7 and helps my moto g(4) plus battery last multiple days
Since most smartphones come with a non-replaceable battery, and I for one don't want to change phones every year (or two, or three) I have read a lot on how to care for Li-Ion batteries. This app has everything one could need for extending the lifespan of a battery, and even includes pretty helpful tips along the way for explaining what each number means. Pretty good!
I was looking for app that can provide me details info about battery usage.. And with this app, i get more than i was expecting.. and it is just fact of information.. Although they have ads, but dev have decided to put it in a small area.. For me this is ok, but still i decided to support them and make purchased.. I hope you will success with you this attitude in business.. 5 star for you.. Edit: Before i make a purchased of this app, i saw there are widget that we can used but it is cover with Pro word.. i am guessing it is for paid version.. but once i purchased the app, i cant find the widget anymore.. care to explained?
Sent my suggestion to the official email address. I would like to have profile support, basically just having a profile for each battery. So when I use the aftermarket one, the stats and all would get recorded for that battery. (Currently you can modify the mAh but all the history and stuff will log to the same place.)
I'm sure it's great - it seems great - but I didn't hear the alarm go off and there is no option to select the alarm sound! I'm hoping this issue will rectify itself... also it only seems to recognise just under 3000mAh of a new "10,000mAh" (~9600mAh) battery. This battery lasted close to 3½ days on its first charge so it is definitely at better than 30% health!
Awesome references for my battery usage, I always keep my phone on the charger when it's available, and now I'm learning to restrain that! Earns me points with the ladies! Last star is open for improvements, like reccomendations for how to set charging limits. Right now I'm like 85%meh ok why not whatever %.
Tried so many battery monitoring apps and completely stop using any for a while. Till I found this app. It does it's job well and rather accurate. I have a question. When it's calibrating in the tutorial, do I need to keep the screen turned on or can I have it off? I'm getting two different calibration values from both variables.
Great. This app, unlike others, shows no discernible battery drain whilst providing all the info you need to target battery drain issues. Helped me solve a couple of issues. Only used the free version but pro has even more tools. No root required either! All good.
App is amazing about providing information with neat visuals. But the inability to remove the notification in drawer completely is killing me. I thought it would have been included in the pro version so I bought it but still no option to turn it off completely. Add this please, I don't want to bloat the notification drawer and want to check my battery manually.
Really fine app. So much pertinent information on battery performance, health & usage. Runs flawlessly on my LG G6 with the new Nougat operating system! No more multiple battery dilemma for me like with my old LG G5. I have the paid version of this app. which is definitely worth it! Many great options! Thanks for all your help in answering my questions about the app. The developers are just great about tech support & question from the app. user's. I couldn't be more satisfied! Thanks for such a great app.!
Not completely convinced. I've been charging this phone to 100% since I got it over a year ago. Yet this app reports "105% health". It got the battery capacity right per the label on the battery - guess I'll run a recharge cycle a few more times before judging.
This app is really great. It is accurate, unlike others that I have tried. It does exactly what I need, I am very pleased. One thing though, could you guys offer a lower donation price? £3.50 works out to $5 here. Kinda pricey for an app. Edit: bought it today!
After trying a few battery apps this one is the best by far. Good interface and useful statistics. Only thing I don't use is the charge alarm, unfortunately I am one of those people that prefers the extra runtime to longer battery life. But with AccuBattery at least I can see how much damage I am doing.
Great app. The screen off data is the most important feature I want. But after charge cycle screen off info sometimes doesn't show, even after reboot.Have to constantly reboot to get deep sleep to show values after charge cycle. Other than that small inconvenience it's a great app for monitoring current draw.
Very useful app no doubt about. My only concern is the info displayed on the status bar. I understand there's an option to minimize this feature, but I would like for it to be completely gone from my status bar. The only way I can get rid of this notification display is by blocking all notifications from the app in system settings.
This app is very, very handy. I use it on a daily basis. I can't tell what's eating my battery so I can force close it later. Not to mention, I really love the notification in the notification panel. I just love how the notification shows how much my battery is draining. Do I recommend this? HELL YES! it's been saving me more battery. Don't hesitate to get this.
It's not very I bother to write a review for apps... But this one.. I love it so much! I never knew they harm I was doing to my battery. Having a galaxy s7, the battery isn't the easiest thing to replace.. So knowing this can defiantly help me keep a good hobbit from now on. I very much enjoy this app and have even donated. I would like to maybe see a few more donator features to justify the the other levels of donation. Other than that this app is wonderful, really helps me stay on top of things
As a reviewer this tool is extremely useful to track battery life and charging time. The only thing I dislike is that it won't work if the power IC doesn't support current readout. It would be good to support usage tracking solely based on screen-on time as well.
Clear and nice interface. Fairly good estimates (it is pretty difficult task and accuracy depends on specific phone design/SoC used). It is not clear what are technical benefits for obtaining Pro version. I am considering it anyway to support author. It is truly solid work.
Has changed the way I charge my phone. It also helped me establish the root cause of random reboots was a fault with my old battery and proved that a new battery fixed these issues. Very comprehensive and informative, check out your stats after 3 days use for best info.
This app gives me so much data on my phone's battery, it's astounding. I love seeing which apps are draining my battery and what the overall life of my battery looks like. I'm not a fan of the icon in the toolbar, but I've learned to live with it. Fantastic battery app... It's even backed by science!
Best app of its kind, hands down. All the readings and data I could have ever hoped for! I'll upgrade this review to 5 stars if it completes the task I'm trying to use it for. I'm setting the "design capacity" to match a new 6,500mAh battery I've purchased. I'm not sure if that aids calibration or increasing charge limits. So far, my V10 still thinks it's on a 3,000mAh and charges to "100%" after 1½hrs
I think this app is working. Gives you a lot of insight into what your phone and charger are doing. I love the cpu usage overlay which hints me when an app is stuck in an infinite loop and needs to be terminated. One thing that I wish it did was to be able to cut charge when a certain batter percentage is reached. Maybe it is too much to ask from a third party application cause it may involve overwriting phone's battery management system.
It shows various statistical data, but it looks quite redundant (useless?). The app answers typical questions in a sophisticated way. Some estimates look incorrect. And on my device (Doogee X5 Max, Android 6) it wasn't able to provide any data on the Health tab. Uninstalled...
Nice app with s scientific reports on your battery. Keep the good work. Only request you to provide option of hiding the icon from tray . Why battery needs calibration . Also tell me how can I manually calibrate without get red message Does it supports android 7 I have updated today.
Plenty of statistics that help you optimize your phone. Find that runaway app that's killing the battery or find out how you are using your phone. Wishlist: get the app to control the internal phone charger, to stop charging at 80%..and leave it at trickle to maintain it. Then it would be perfect.
As who wants to shrink their battery capacity by 20% just to prolong its longevity for the next owner? But this app's statistics and info charts are pretty neat.

Needs an option to turn off the monitoring. I dont want to use but dont want to unninstall. When using Amoled mode, the UI should change from green to black. 1 day of usage and the data it shows is far far away from accurate. Im seriously thinking in a refund, 4 days and this is far from useful, the app battery consumption does not seem legit. I like digibites, Digical, a very good product, but this... I am going to make a manual benchmark and then I update this review. Also 70 mb of ram always... Even on my OP3T
