Introduction to Qt 5

Just an infomercial. No actual instructions.

Working great with my LG G3 D855 Kitkat 4.4.2 Update v10i. I hope I could setup this QT Quick 2 up on my QT 5.2 community edition Linux platform without a single snag.

It's good, except the QT Graphical Effects is just crashing badly on my phone - and the app resets on Launch.

Same as Jeff Tranter with Sony Xperia Mini Pro SK17a, the text is corrupted the first time I opened the app. I stopped it using the app manager, opened the app again and now the app screen is black. Tried a few more times and I see the corrupted text again.

LG Nexus 4 - no problem, I'm so glad for this version of Qt. Good job.

Crashes on Android 4.3

Now works on a Nexus 5 running Android 5.0.

Great App

As of Dec 11 update based on Qt5.2 working well. Very nice gfx, sound works, resume app works, interface could be improved, ... menu button appears to be missing, but otherwise a very impressive demo. Works without Ministro for those wondering. Awesome work Digia!

This worked well on nexus 4. Hope more to come from Qt for android.

Impresif

Demos the smooth graphics capabilities. Handles the back button events more quickly than Java programs. Fonts have glitches here and there otherwise fonts are brilliantly sharp looking. Opengl shader effects are awesome.

App start takes way to long... Hope this will be different if Qt is 100% ready for Android.

I was really looking forward to Qt on Android, but I see it still has a long way to go. On Samsung Galaxy Note 3: * Landscape mode doesn't work. It's portrait mode rendered in landscape. * No video playback (ok, worked 2nd time I launched the app, but most people would have given up by then) * How does that demo game work? I only see one game though apparently there should be more.

I hope glitches users report get worked on. QT5 is really exciting, I give best wishes to Digia for their goals!

Good work. I am new using QT and I like all things we can do with it. Easy to use and cross platform.

The background changes everytime I restart the app, sometimes making the text unreadable. (Galaxy Nexus, running CM 10.1) Anyway really awesome as an early version :-)

Most of the text is corrupted when running on my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 running Android 2.3.3.

Fast, impressive

Crashes on startup, cannot get it to start.

I like the idea of this as I develop with qt on PC. Particle system is very nice.

Works fine but most of the text (except large titles) are corrupted.
