Digalator Teen for Android
It also acts as a mental health dictionary and mobile companion for teens to help them better understand the many aspects of emotional health and mental well-being.
Allie Vera, the talking Virtual Assistant, is the latest addition to Digalator Teen and her main purpose is to make it even easier for the teen to find the right information for any concern. But, she knows more. A lot more. Allie is learning different ways to apply her knowledge to assist teenagers, making sure that the whole process is a lot of fun. So, while she is learning how to do this, we're calling the Voice UI feature a Beta.
You can help Allie accomplish her mission by giving us feedback on your experience with using Digalator Teen. Please consider sending feedback through the support site at http://www.digalator.com
Digalator Teen was a finalist for the best mobile content award in the mLearning and Education category at the WSA-mobile 2014 Global contest!
The following is a general description of Digalator Teen:
No waiting, no searching - just get the right information, when it’s needed. Navigating is easy as 1, 2, 3: select a Topic, select a Concern, then tap to get immediate information. Digalator Teen contains the following main sections:
Guides:
The Guides have specific information about the chosen concern and are written at a level the teens can easily understand - and they're intentionally short. There are four sections for each guide: What the concern is, Typical causes, Common symptoms, and Tips for dealing with it.
Multimedia:
Multimedia touches people in many ways. A favorite song, video, art, quote, or poem at the right time can be a great remedy to relax and get your mind back to where it wants to be. Then, its a lot easier for the available support to work as it should.
Info & Resources:
Lots of information is immediately available on any of the concerns with a single tap. Choose from a list of dedicated websites to access great information and support on each concern. The Topic Videos help connect the teen with engaging information from role models, counsellors, and peers.
Forum:
Teens helping teens is so important in today's world. And the posts and comments in the Digalator Forum are a great way to accomplish this. Teens aren't alone when they share their experiences and provide helpful support on how they dealt with a concern.
Help:
There's a lot of help and support from individuals and organizations around the world and getting access to their websites is a simple tap away. Support phone numbers, email addresses, access to counselors in a variety of ways are immediately available.
Private:
Teens are too often hesitant to ask for information and help about a personal concern they may be having. Now, this help is in their pocket and they can explore in private, whenever, and wherever they need to.

I think this is a great idea and it all works well but it might be an idea to also let people type questions rather than just talking because I know that sometimes I have to wait till I'm alone to use it which can be annoying but I don't want people to hear what I'm saying. Also on the pictures here it shows things saying guides and videos and stuff but I can't see them on my phone all I see is the alligator and the topic choice thing.
