VpnROOT - PPTP - Manager

Took sometime but it's working again :)

After looking for a VPN client which supports PPTP, I finally found this one and now I can connect to my home computer which I set up with Windows. For those using Kingroot, there are ways to convert to SuperSU.

Used to use this app on my note 4 without a hitch. Doesn't work on my "new" Nexus 6 and emailed the dev a couple weeks ago with no response.

Exact same settings used for the default vpn setup in settings doesn't work in this app. Just says PPTP connection is down. Its not I can connect use the inbuilt vpn.

Best VPN app so far. Works well with my pptp server. Purchased the pro version to support the developer. BTW the pro unlock app is called: VPN root pro plug in. Couldn't find it earlier.

I've emailed twice in the past week, with no response yet.

This app does not re-connect to VPN when the wifi connection is broken, although this is an advertised feature. I have battery optimization (Android 6) for this app turned off, yet it won't connect unless I open the app. Then, it suddenly "remembers" it is supposed to connect and starts counting down 20 seconds until reconnect. The nature of wireless is it will occasionally disconnect as one walks around. This should be expected, and handled seamlessly by this app. It is not. As such, it has little to no advantage over the built-in Android VPN. I can't recommend it.

Had no issues whatsoever getting the donation key after PayPal payment made. Best PPTP VPN client connection solution on the Android market. Thank you. Running Android 4.3 on N7105 international.

I would buy the pro plugin but you guys don't show a way to use this app, is not in YouTube or anywhere online, you loosing busines

offering openvpn without supporting openvpn is silly. 2014/12 did send email to specified address, was promised fix soon. 2015/03 even more silly 4 months after your saying OVPN was coming soon. Not difficult when OPEN vpn is open source and readily available. 2015/07 STILL NO PROMISED OPENVPN, still offering a service which is pushing toward openvpn. Still also only app that connects every boot no problems. My vpn is discontinuing pptp so I need to settle on another client :(

f-yeah! this is a great app! if you set up a hamachi vpn on your phone Android will not allow you to use always on vpn and retain internet connetctivity... this app solves that problem! you must have hamachi set up on the device before trying this. so freakin great. - to the developer, i love you man. where can i pay for this awesome app?

i have two devices one uses Superuser for root access and this app works fine there but i cant connect with my other device which uses kingroot

worked first time with ease. love the ability to not have to have lock screen. well worth buying the pro version for the quick connect widget cons requires root but not really a big issue since if your using stuff like this you probably have already rooted your phone problem with vpn on 4.4.2 firmware so either stay on 4.3 or go to 5.0.1

Works with some apps only (chrome etc), doesn't work with many other apps. No reply from developer after contacting support.

I don't think this guy works with ARM64 devices namely Samsung S6 or Samsung Note5. I cannot connect to any PPTP servers while I can easily do so with the system VPN from setting.

i did the same setting with stock VPN but this app can't redirect some of the traffic while the stock can. (Tested on accessing Google and Facebook from China). Please fix the issue.

I am able to connect to the VPN but there is no internet when using this app, when I connect to the VPN using default tablet settings it works fine. Shame really as I was wanting some of the pro features.
