About English German Dictionary
German <> English Dictionary offline and free. You can search both English and German words. You can search for words directly from "Internet Browser" or other Applications by using Sharing option. In the sharing option you will find "German Dictionary" and choosing "German Dictionary" will open the dictionary with the shared word so you need not type. Exiting from the dictionary will return you to "Internet Browser" or other Applications again. This is not only a Dictionary but also a learning tool. You can use this dictionary when you have no Internet connection. MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) option is available. There is autosuggestion so you need not type full words. You can also use Speech to Text feature. You can add words to the study plan and remove words from the study plan. When you start typing, you will see some words starting with the letters you typed. The dictionary searches in a database for the matching words. This can slow down typing in small handsets. Therefore in settings there is an option to turn that off. So low profile mobile handsets can turn off Auto search to type quickly. You will see a Dictionary icon on the notification bar to start the app quickly. On sharing text you will find the German Dictionary. This will be helpful to find out the meaning of any word.

Brilliant app - the ads aren't too intrusive but I'll pay to get rid of them totally. Love the pronunciation option, layout and navigation. Games are great fun and helpful for me (a beginner learning German). Would love to be able to set the default from E>G to G>E in settings - future upgrade? But can't really fault. It's really 4.5 stars, dropped half a star because of ads, would get 5 if totally ad free paid option available.

Pronounciation does not work. Doesn't provide all the varied meanings of a german word. Very poor for this particular language.

It's a good app. But, unfortunately it can't give us the german artikel "der, die, das". Well, I think that is an important part for learning german. So, please improve it, then I'll give 5 stars

I like that this app has a favorites bar where you can refer to words that are of particular interest to you, plus the games section where you can take a quiz is good. I am glad I found this app.

easy to use. extremely functional as a direct translator. it has no definitions, but i didn't want/expect any. there are fun extras to use, like study cards, if you want to make use of them.

My old offline German dictionary stank so I looked for another. This one has almost all the words I looked for, is fast and has useful features like sample phrases and antonyms (user option). The user interface could be better (e.g., if you reverse the translation direction it wipes out the search term you entered) but on the whole I'm very satisfied.
