For each phase of your sleep cycle (setting the alarm, mid-sleep, napping, on waking and snoozing), the Informed Alarm Clock provides you with clear information and appropriately sized and relevant controls. No unnecessary images, buttons, settings, colours or tiny text.

During the night a dim (color selectable) minimal display shows the time in large digits, an alarm indicator and alarm time. A minimal and easy to read display because all you want is a quick confirmation that you can go back to sleep safely.

On alarm ringing (tone and volume selectable of course), a large display of the time, large buttons, indication of what time your snooze will re-wake you and the day of the week. But also:

- the current local weather (anywhere in the world) from a premium weather provider (included in the app price) in 15 languages

- and uniquely, your first calendar appointment details (time and place). Includes all day calendar events, and calendar events that have already started, just in case you have overslept.

All of the information you need to make an Informed Alarm Clock decision, and no more.

Setting the alarm is easy and error free. A single button nap timer is also provided. No confusing pages of settings, options, etc. The Informed Alarm Clock provides an intuitive alarm clock interface.

Fonts, clock, data, display and most other settings are taken from your phone preferences making setup mostly unnecessary.
