1912 - Tutto iniziò da qui
Era il 1912 e gli Italiani credevano nei sogni.

I sogni viaggiavano a 37mm.Una piccola scala verde bottiglia nel retro, una stanza buia con tre finestrelle sempre oscurate, 2 gigantesche cineprese che guardano il mondo mentre il mondo continua a fissare lo schermo; loro sarebbero rimaste lì immobili per oltre un secolo. Pensavo che fossero solo dei matti quei piccoli uomini sempre in grado di entusiamarsi davanti allo schermo, davanti a dalle immagini incolore, affaccendati a rincorrere dei sottotitoli. Tutto inizia li’, via Antonio Pacinotti al 6 nella zona nord di Milano, era il 18 Settembre 1912, all’interno di una graziosa palazzina liberty in quel mite autunno milanese nasceva Il Cinema Teatro Trieste:una piccola platea,350 posti un schermo forato per l’audio ed un piccolo palco.Nasceva allora il cinema di quartiere, piccola piazza popolare al coperto costruita davanti ad un grande parete bianca in grado di animarsi. Il 27 agosto 1932 le immagini iniziano a raccontarsi, il cinema apre le porte al mondo del sonoro ricordo allora era L’allegro tenente Lubitsch, 1931 di scena. A meta’ degli anni quaranta si comincia a parlare di Cinema Sempione, dal ’44 compare regolarmente nel corriere della sera. La mia storia e’ scandita da pellicole importanti:

le ricordo tutte le abbiamo vissute insieme , le abbiamo amate, ciascuna in modo diverso.Nel‘77 faccio una scelta culturale, sono nel circuito FICE (Federazione Italiana Cinema d’essai), segue la “Rassegna dei Film Segnalati dai Critici” e per 16 anni ancora tra i settanta e gli ottanta accolgo il ciclo “Invito al film”, grazie alla sezione spettacolo del Circolo Culturale

Carlo Perini. Dalla seconda metà degli anni Ottanta il Sempione diventa protagonista delle Serate Cinematografiche Milanesi, “ la Panoramica di Venezia”, rassegna settembrina nella quale vengono proiettati in versione originale con sottotitoli i film appena presentati al Festival di Venezia. Siamo al termine del millennio, sono stanco sto per compiere un secolo, mi sento un po’ demode’, non comprendo il cambiamento, le esigenze ed i gusti del publico; sono diventato piccolo e brutto al cospetto dei MULTISALA pochi posti un piccolo schermo, un sonoro non adeguato ai dettami del dolby stereo, non e’ piu’ il mio mondo la sala e’ vuota, la biglietteria e sempre meno frequentata,nel Marzo del 1999 tiriamo giu’ i bandoni, la sala si spegne. Sono amareggiato ferito deluso, il pubblico mi abbandona. La sala e’chiusa. La storia delle sale cinematografiche e’ gia’ stata scritta da chi mi ha preceduto: la sala va in affitto ed in poco tempo passiamo dai film d’essai a quelli a luci rosse, lavori di ammodernamento, cambia l’insegna sull’ingresso tirano giu’ “Sempione d’Essai” nasce il “Cinema Sempione Hard Movie”.Nel 2013 è la magistratura che provvede a richiudere i bandoni e contestualmente ad altri 7 cinema Milanesi e tanti altri in Italia e’ l’oblio. 1912 - It all started from here

I remember them all we lived together, we love each so diverso.Nel'77 do a cultural choice, are in the circuit FICE (Italian Federation of Arthouse Cinemas), follows the "Festival of Film Critics Bookings by" and 16 years even between seventy and eighty welcome the series "Invitation to the film", thanks to the show's Circle

Carlo Perini.
