About Dialog DSPS
The Dialog Serial Port Service (DSPS) from Dialog Semiconductor is a proprietary service over the Bluetooth® low energy protocol that emulates a serial cable communication. It provides a simple wireless substitute for wired (RS-232) connections.
The DSPS reference application is an application for demonstrating the SPS service. The DSPS application can discover, connect and exchange data with other DSPS enabled devices within the Bluetooth RF range of the mobile device.

The app is just as bad as the documentation from dialog semi - a total pice of ****. Crashes, failes to connect, loses connection, transmission loses data and/or inserts random garbage.

Crashes often on my galaxy s6 edge running marshmellow, almost completely unusable. In need of an update, as it's been a year since the app was last updated.
