Disc Golf Course Review

Needs to have automatic weather input like most other disc golf apps. It also needs to be able to change par and distance on the fly, sometimes courses change basket locations and this app has the wrong distance or post info. And it needs to be able to change the tee for individual holes instead of just the whole round. Love dgcr website but this app has a long way to go yet.

I've used (and paid for) other disc golf scorecard apps. Many start with the app and try to build a course database and community around it. That's like building a car without having any roads to drive it on. DGCR already has one of, if not the best, disc golf course databases and a large involved community. DGCR has the highways and byways, now here is the car to explore them with.

I can upload my scores just by logging onto a regular computer after in putting them on DGCR. (This App) Super easy. Great Application! Tim has done a very good job helping us disc golfers out! Thanks Tim for caring & doing this app!

The definitive disc golf app. I love free apps, but this is well worth the price. By far the best app for disc golf rounds and finding courses, all the information you would ever need for a course. Really usefull for planning a disc golf trip!

Great app for what it does, but I get an error trying to import recent rounds after latest update. Tells me I have no internet connection.

Great app. User friendly and love that it's spot on with tees and lengths and what not...Only suggestion at this point is to make it possible to add players when you've already started a round. Can you guys make that available? Unless you already have and I'm doing something wrong.

Great for finding courses when on the road.

Good app and what I use as my daily driver for scoring. But it could really use some better features that other apps offer, such as player tracking, backup and restoring, and charts. It ties to your DGCR account but it doesn't seem to back up or anything cuz you can't see it online, and he can't see it on your phone if you have to reset the app

Much better than any of the alternatives I've tried. Everything seems to work fine except one of the guys I play with can't see games I've scored on his iPhone version of the app. I've submitted multiple games but his app shows his stats as empty for the course even though he logged in my phone.

This app is fantastic. The only thing I wish it had was a way of measuring your throw.

So far it's one of the best DG apps I've used, my replace udisc!

Playing about a yr. Started tracking effort and getting better. Able to find courses which is great. I now play 6 different courses in my area and have easily found courses while travelling. The maps are very helpful when trying to negotiate a new course. Reviews and pictures makes this an awesome and beneficial app. Kudos for an app that gets used frequently along with your website. I never realized so many courses existed. Great!

Although there are some great features like quick mapping and directions to courses and viewing course info, this scoring app is glitchy. I have throw 3 scored rounds on a custom course and when I went to check stats on that course, none of the round info saved. All said and done is an okay app that should be v $1 but $5 in app terms should get you a flawless disc app that has anything you could want

Amazing app with lots of cool things like course description, hole details, and for some courses near me there's even links to videos of people playing on the courses. Had an error when signing up and the support team contacted me and fixed the problem within 24 hrs. Def recommend if you want a good DG app for scoring and other stuff.

A few things I wish this app had...manage discs while playing a round (i.e. disc lost); manage a league while keeping score; make notes on a per shot or per hole basis...but I've had more than my $5 worth of expense in under a week as I found a new course to play and found my way around that course from what was in the app! Keep developing and let me know if you want a tester for those developments!

I have tried out 4 different disc golf scorecard apps and this one exceeds the others tremendously! It not only works as a great scorecard, but it also shows nearby courses, shops, and tournaments. I just wish there were more tournaments that are displayed.

Par values can be edited on main website, updates quickly. App creator responds quickly. Makes me wonder how well the app works in an offline mode. For $5, I had hoped for additional features like disc throw tracking using gps or current location on course with maps. The summary stats are relatively simple and I haven't found a way to compare multiple players on a course or performance overall. Biggest reason to buy is to have easier search for courses while traveling. Would prefer it worked offline.

I love the App and use it all the time. The one thing that I wish I were able to do is edit par on each hole. It's not a big issue at all but many people play all par 3's on every hole. As far as i know, this app doesn't allow you to change the par. Nothing simple math can't fix at the end of the round but it wouldn't hurt to add that feature.

I like the interface, it's easy to follow. No crashes while using it. I would like to be able to update a course via the app and to be able to zoom in on the photos. Keep up the good work.

Only complaint is the rating it is giving me does not appear accurate. The app seems to provide no ratings when you a play a course that is over 18 holes, this in turn gives you a zero rating for that round which lowers your rating artificially!

Would 5 star it, but it would be nice to search courses by state. You've got city, zip code, but no state. Was trying to find best rated courses in Oregon, and found it cumbersome to search successfully. Would also be nice to download scorecards of previous rounds and be able to share with others. If those could be added on, I would 5 star the crap out of this puppy. Thanks for the info. 5 starred it.

I used the DGCR website for a while before getting this app, but now that I have this - I can pretty much do everything from my phone! It's so simple to find a nearby course and research everything you need to know just from the app! You can see photos, look at the weather, read reviews and so much more! It even has a score card that keeps and stores all your stats. Its obvious that a lot of time and money was put into this app to make it an easy and useful tool. Great job Tim at DGCR!!

Just started using the score keeper and it worked perfectly for me. I normally rate apps with a 4 if it does well for me because there is always room for improvement for any app. However this one has provided me everything I can reasonably ask for. Great job, reasonable price and certainly beyond my expectations. Definitely telling my friends to make the purchase.

Very accurate. The only improvement I can think of is adding course maps incase you get lost on poorly marked courses

All the other stuff mentioned would be nice, (throw tracking, a darker color scheme, submit all played rounds to dgcr, etc...) But no access to the wishlist is crazy! Fix soon please, I'm going on a trip and thought I'd have access to my list on my phone. Great app other than that though, keep it up.

Isn't letting me log into my dgcr account from app. Using correct name and password. Keeps saying it is invalid. Not worth 5 bucks. Already uninstalled and getting my refund

Easy to use. Excellent output of final scoring. I would like to be able to upload multiple scores at the same time. Also another vote to be able to add course images from the app. No tournaments listed in my area.

I would say this is better than other disc golf apps, but it's missing the ability to include disc information and measure a throw or find a distance. It also states you are able to keep notes per hole, but I don't see that option. Also, when viewing recent rounds, it would be nice if next to your total score it showed your total +/- for that round too. Overall, I like the app. Would recommend.

Very happy with the app so far. I wish you could track round duration. Seems like you already have the necessary inputs (starting the round and finishing the round), then just adding to the "view stats --> Overall Stats (total time played) --> Course Stats (total time played on course) --> View Rounds (time played per round). I wish it would include course pictures as part of the scorecard. Also courses that don't have addresses don't show up on the map, which is how I like to search courses when I'm out of town.

4 stars because it will often not update my location so when clicking the GPS search for stores or courses will often have precious location rather than what's actually near me. One other thing I don't like is that if I enter a score incorrectly and go back to fix it, it adds the additional number rather than replace, e.g. Changing a 1 putt to a 2 putt would turn it to a 12 rather than just overwrite the 1 with a 2. Bonus features for pro version are worth the cost for me.
