Dexcom

I saw no mention on this apps information page in Google Play indicating it was an instruction app for the model 7 system only. A few small sections that might help with other models. Such as sensor insertion and setup. I wanted an app to display and allow editing of patient data from Dexcom's desktop software. Their Follow... app will not install on my device. Might only support model 7 too. My tablet is a few years old. Only had 5-6 apps that wouldn't install over those years. Looks good for what it does

I am a new dexcom G5 user. I have only utilized android for my mobile device. Dexcom G5 is not compatible to provide feed to android devices, only apple... until then users/patients like myself will continue to have to carry around the receiver... once the app does what it's counterpart does on the iphone, will give a 5 star rating.

I installed the app as I was hoping it would be an accompaniment or even a replacement for the monitor I use for my G5 sensor. Unfortunately all the app really does is provide a few info pages on the sensor that I guess may help those new to using the srnsor but nothing very helpful to those already well versed in it. A bit disappointing but cannot fault the G5 itself and it's outstanding technology.

Dexcom G4 doesn't seem to communicate to Android cell phones. Hope that get's fixed. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5.

How can a device that is so cutting-edge have such a crappy app? Get with the times Dexcom, even Taco Bell has an updated android app. Although.....now that I think about it, I guess it does make sense that you would rather put your effort into a device that nets you thousands of dollar$ from the insurance companies, than into a useful app for the actual patients. *sigh*

As most everyone has stated in any reviews posted this year, this app is essentially useless because it's not for any product Dexcom is currently pushing. As also stated by others, it's not as if Dexcom doesn't have enough R&D dollars to produce an acceptable and useful application with all we spend on their products. Update the app please. We've paid for it.

So, in 2015, with about 50% of cell phone users usong Android products, Dexcom still hasn't developed "Share" for Droid?

I gave it a shot, despite all of the bad reviews, stating the app not being up-to-date. Well, previous reviews are correct and I cannot see any reason to keep the app.

Nice interface but... This is truly outdated - I had the 7+ before the G4 and this app is still not updated - make this an decent app where you can log and save your data from the g4 receiver. An app with simple information about a device is as useful as a PDF. Come on, we paid big money for the system and we waste a ridiculous amount of money for the sensors so you can provide us with a little more usability in a dexcom app, no? Good luck! :)

I expected a dynamic ap from dexcom...for what this is it is good...it is just out dated.

Love the tutorials, support info, etc. but needs a diet diary with blue tooth to transfer blood sugars. That would be cool. Also, you guys need social media / Facebook comments / testimonial area on your website. I'm a marketing manager and couldn't find anywhere to post my comments.

Documentation is for DEXCOM SEVEN. DEXCOM G4 has been out for a while now. I'm also looking forward for the app that makes my phone the receiver. I understand this is the plan with G5. Willing to beta test.

Just create an app that allows u to upload your cgm data instead of having to use a computer with windows or mac let it be android or ios compatible

New to DexCom Seven plus but not to cgm. Have manual installed on tablet but this is super quick with faq, phone #s, ordering, and usual easy fix stuff. May not use it forever but sure nice when learning or for spouse education ;-) Learned about it when needing tech support for ? ? ? error message. Thanks Dex!

Useless app. We need an app which allows Dex to use android phone as a monitor.

I be glad to beta a more useful app. There are many fitness apps that record nutrition and ecercise info. Let's at least create one that will be compatible with DM3.

The G4 had been out for some time now. You really need to update the app so it has information that's actually useful for the current devices!

1. it was updated to work with the latest G4 generation 2. actually worked as an external monitor (using BT) because I always have my phone with me and the screen and software is much better then on the dinky G4 monitor. Only value is to see video on how the older sensor insertion works.
