SearchBar Ex - Search Widget

Used to LOVE this app. I have a Kindle and the built in search bar defaults to the Silk browser and Bing search results. I loved this app because it allowed me to quickly search with the Google browser and I much prefer that to Silk or Bing. However, now when I swipe up it does nothing and long pressing opens up Alexa (which I didn't choose to install and it was forced on me). I can't get the search bar to open at all anymore. Such a shame because I used this multiple times daily!

It ain't no JOOOOOOKE !!! Plus you can finally delete ( if rooted) that dopey "google" app. The one where they give you news related to search results ? All I kept it for was the simplicity of the Google "bar" right there on first page. With this goofy lil thing. It does THAT and then some .. To simplify YOOOOOOO !!!

There so many apps in my phone, so when i want to use certain apps. I'm forced to browse app drawer. It take so much time. But with this, my problem solved, i just need to type ,search and run certain apps with this apps. So easy. Plus this apps dont change my laucher, it just create shorcut and widget. Love you :)

Love the elegant app. I only have Google chrome but not the Google app. Still, the search bar does open in chrome browser. But, unfortunately it does the search operation only when Chrome app is running. You cannot launch the searchbar alone. Also I cannot find any settings at all. Please fix the issue.

Excellent app. I paid, and 3 features would get 5★ from me: have an instant paste-&-search option (instead of just pasting), have the device keyboard's autocorrect pane come up (it doesn't show suggested words and it feels like I'm typing a password), and pull up apps by typing any part of their name (I have to type "Hangouts" to get "Hangouts Dialer"; I can't type "Dialer" to pull it up).

So much better than the actual google app. No stupid tabs, tiles or other nonsense you have to wait to load when you tap to search. Just quick easy search. Worth paying for, Great job thanks.

Ad infected crap, can not replace the Google bar. You still have to find a way to remove it yourself

Searches. And searches well! I was looking for an app that would quicky get me into the app I wanted from a quick search. This app does it quickly, and stylishly. I can quicly search Google (and throw that search into my favourite browser), YouTube, Spotify, etc. Incandescent even create custom searches. I upgraded to pro within the first few mins of using it!

I switched to Samsung beta browser and the bar refuses to use it, even though this browser is set to system default. Either honor the system default or give the option to select a desired default. I installed you to get away from Google. Having the sole setting be default to Google doesn't help me

Please make Google keyboard prediction work Please.. Not your fault but is there anyway to enable this?

Good search alternative, though its appearance is a little blocky when put against material design. Removing the black banner that appears would give it a much nicer overlay feel

Very convenient app that provides a much better search bar than the default google one. One question (please help me!) Can you have two different search engine bars on your home page? For example, a chrome search bar and a YouTube search bar both on the same screen. Or can you only have one search engine for all search bars. Thanks!

I love this app and subscribed premium, just one think need improve,can you make the voice search to Google now, so I can command like set alarm, reminder etc it would be a lot better! thanks!

Couldn't stand how Google search now throws you into its weird Chromish browser. With Searchbar EX I can set my searches to default to the regular Chrome browser.

Ok reinstalled it and its fine so back to 5 stars. Previously (It was great until i upgraded to premium. Now it no longer opens my search result in Chrome. Any advice? 5 stars for no premium. ) Lets me open search in Chrome Puts a neat widget on the screen of your phone. Speech to text works really well. Much better than the built-in Google search that came with my Galaxy Note 3

It needs to sync! It's a well thought out app; plenty of features and a lot of options for customization - the problem I have is that I can't get the results from other google searches from other devices. Is there a way to do this? If not, please add this feature!

A great Google search bar replacement for people that don't use Pixel Launcher or Google Now Launcher. It's sleek, with great animation, and integrates really well with third-party apps. Definitely worth the upgrade!

Its a fantastic app. I'd like it better if it opens the google app directly when i search. I'd also like it if i typed on the widget itself rather than opening another search bar (similar to how GNL works). Otherwise, great app. Edit: jump to url directly doesnt work. It just does a google search of the url.

Way to inform you guys that settings search doesn't search the term typed in the box. It just opens up settings without an initiated search. Would love to have this improved or help out thanks a lot. I'll change the rating too!

I love how customizable this widget is. It can look great and be fully configured to do whatever searches you'd like. Well executed!

Premium user here. I've been using this app for about a year without issues, but recently when I click a link within my Google search results, the app freezes up and crashes quite frequently. This makes using your application impossible at times. Nexus 6p running Android version 7.1.2 with the Android beta program

The official Bing app too away the ability to set it as the "assist app" (Alternative to Google Now/Google Assistant, activated by long pressing​ the home button.) This app re-enables that functionality​. I'm very grateful :)

If you have your rooted phone set to install new apps to the SD card, the widgets will not load.

It's looks and feels great. I would rate 5 stars if it didn't bug out and erase the things I wanted to search for. I would like it to be fixed.

This app does not work with Dolphin Browser no matter what settings I change. Essentially useless. This is a critical bug that needs to be fixed.

Nice look but needs work.. search bar should disappear on its own and not co-exist with the widget..

Everything is great but when will we see a new update - maby with the new "circular / pill" Google search bar?

It's great. I bundled it with a swipe gesture and it works like IOS' search. It would be nice if you could add email, message, and browsing history.

Wow! This is a great way to get rid of the Google app just use this with your web browser. Don't even use the widget just put the app icon on your desktop.

Voice icon can't perform phone commands like "call sarah". Instead it just googles what you say.

But some app cannot be detecting

edit: after sometime the widget not working, saying updating. This apps is perfect will upgrade to pro in near future.

Its good but it has some problems and mistakes

If you use it to search for an app name, pressing enter should launch the app, NOT open a Google search. Otherwise this app is amazing

Was working fine now it just opens the browser to a new window with no search results uninstall and bye

Very useful that allows me to search apps and stuff on the internet. Would like more widget options.
