I used to sit outside and hear a sound when i looked up at the stars and thought about the vastness of life and love. Singing HU can help you tune into the sacred sound which created you (Soul), too. Usually, I hear a high-pitched hum; when this sound comes I am greatly uplifted. It has been sung throughout the ages. I am grateful for this two letter word!

Beautiful and safe for followers of Jesus or followers of any religion or spiritual path. Yes it is sung by Muslims. They learned it from Judaism. HU is the God of all, the God who loves us all. Eckankar teaches HU, but it is against our religion to try to push our beliefs on anyone.

This app is deceiving as it is call to God by Muslims. This is not the God of Abraham, Isaac or Jacob! Be very careful about downloading this app as you are not praying to the one true God. You may invite unwanted guests (demons) by opening such a door.

I sing HU to tell God "I love you." Having grown up in the United Methodist Church, I found that HU gives me peace and changes the way I feel about my life. I find it doesn't change my beliefs I grew up with. It enhances them and gives me a tool to continue exploring my relationship with God, Jesus, and other spiritual people who have dedicated themselves to helping people experience God. Now instead of searching for the MP3 on my phone, I have the app on my front page and can listen to it any time.

HU cannot be completely understood mentally within any particular belief system, because it is the sound of all life. Its reality can only be experienced. While I laud Lisa's dedication to her belief system, I feel that telling someone not to learn about the HU and then make their own decision about whether or not it is spiritually beneficial to them personally, is like telling a Christian not to practice prayer in order to find out if it brings them closer to God or not. Why would anyone, want to intrude on another person's personal conversation with their Creator, regardless of the language of that communication. Listening to this sound and singing it really helps me clear out my mind chatter. It's like a huge hug around me.
