FolderMount [ROOT]

This app seems to work just like the linux mount command. It does in fact move the files to the sd card and mounts the folder in the sd card to the internal memory. So yes it appears that the data exists in both places but it doesn't. To test unmount your sd card and your internal destination will be empty. This app can be used to free up space. The next step would be to mount remote locations (ie over wifi or vpn).

Can anyone confirm if this works on madcatz mojo? I have tried other apps like apps2sd but nothing works without breaking my games, i also lost a 128GB micro SD trying to move large games, got no memory left and i don't see a solution

There seems to be no simple way getting this to work on an S7 G930F. Any attemp to fix the SD module results in a DM verity error with NAND inaccessible. Two hard resets with a bit of data loss have led me give up on the app. Requesting Madmack to personally look in to this once awesome app.

Been using this app for ages, now in the magsk era it really needs phh superuser support through. Don't understand why it won't work without supersu. Dev doesn't respond on xda anymore so guess another great app bites the dust..

When open the app for the first time its showing this message "FolderMount jas detected a faulty module(/sdcard/bin/sdcard)in your samsung galaxy phone. FolderMonunt will not work properly with it would you like me to attempt to repaire that fault.........." I don't know what to do...help please...

Tried moving my whatsapp data from phone storage to sd card. It showed completed successfully and when i deleted the whatsapo folder from phone storage. I lost everything in sd card and also lost my whatsapp folder. Now my phone is good as factory resetted and an empty sd card i lost all the music video and images. I am screwed. Dont download this app

FYI, the mounted folders still gets counted to used space when pinned. So if you need it not to be counted like when downloading another big file, unpin it first. Be sure to toggle the switch also after files are moved.

After granting permission to SD card I cant make use of my phone storage any longer. My camera settings stopped working. I am finished! HELP

This can and will damage your SD card, however all damage is easily fixable and this app does no permanent damage or any damage that requires heavier repair as far as I know of. Usually reinstalling the app, or wiping the delvik cache and other small things will fix it. For what it does it does very well but don't complain if it does do a few errors as for an app like this will of course have some. This app is amazing but be sure to be careful with it.

Emma Vydes, I wish i could reply to comments in a way that you would be notified. This app can save you space like this: Pretend you download something from chrome, all of your downloads get stored on internal storage and take up space. You could manually move them to the sd-card, but they will always default to internal. Or pictures for example, some phones don't let you change where your pictures get stored. But with this app, you can create a "downloads" or "pictures" folder on your sd-card and mount the corresponding folder in internal storage to it. The phone will think it's still saving to the same place it always has, but it's really getting moved to the sd. It will still appear to be internal though, so if you were to open either folder with a file explorer, you will see the files, but it's really on the sd, or wherever you set your mount point to be. You're misunderstanding the use of the app. When you open folder "A", it is mounted to folder "B". so you see the files that are actually in folder "B". That's why when you delete a file in "A", "B" gets deleted, because there is really only 1 file, in "B".. It tricks the system same way you were tricked. That's how it works.

When i try to pin the obb files it didnt pinned . Cant create a link between app and obb file ,of course my phone is rooted. But this doesnt work. It is moving files to ext SD card when I tap create pair but cant pin it in list of pairs.Please resolve this problem

I tried the app, and i really liked it, however, right after i bought the app, i couldnt pin the apps. I was Disappointed. I even emailed the author of this app, although he didn't answer back. Waste of money and time.

But my samsung galaxy j5 android marshmallow have a problem. This app make my phone reboot after that my app already move to sd card have broken and this app not installed it say. Because about my english. Need to fix

I wrote to the dev about my problem with MM 6.01 and less than a half day later he pushes out a fix! Great dev, great app! Devs like this deserve our support!

It work for a time then suddenly everything in the mounted directory got deleted for some reason. Happen multiple times. Not sure what happen.

but I refuse to buy the paid version until the users are given the option to remove the delay on startup. So I'll just keep using this until it bothers me enough to make my own symlinks in init.d or *.rc; until then, useful.

The concept is great, however, randomly, when it 'moves' files... the files end up getting lost forever, literally nowhere to be found. Not on the SD card, not on the Internal memory. Nowhere.

50-50 Hi, I am a Lenovo user and I only have 5 GB on my external storage and I found this useful app for my NBA game and after a while my apps starts to force close.. as I removed my SD card which is 32 GB it stopped and went back to normal plsss fix this problem I wasted money coz my SD card broke and had a virus

I was using the app on android 5.1.1 but once i switched to the Resurrection Remix ROM for android 6.0.1 it stopped working.Pls Fix this i really like the app! After Waiting for a month or so my issue was still not fixed

But can you fix this for marshmallow. I have redmi 1s running on android 6 and the app is not able to Mount the data folder, which was earlier moved by the app. Please fix this.

When I.mount any pair it say error that sd card permission / ownership denied don't know why it says because it was working perfectly previouslying. I rerooted my phone but problem stays even now please help developers I need help I can't continue playing my asphalt 8 please help!!!!!

Sometimes the switch to unlink folders won't go to off position which also makes it unable to delete folder pairs. Other than that it works

App extremely useful that hugely simplify SD card managing. Everybody with a rooted device and not enough internal memory should download it! I immediately punches the pro version

First its working...but now its not working...i tried to move one of my big apps data then it goes on the list but the storage did not change ...its not working to me anymore now my storage is messed up....

Works, but... 1) Any app installed to external storage will be greyed out, and you won't even be able to uninstall it. So, move all apps to internal storage first. 2) It replaces system files to work, which ends up disabling USB debugging, and file browsing over USB. Samsung Note 4 N910C

I searched my a*s off for an app like this. It's the best app ever made, moved data and obb on external sdcard it's very easy to use and also I had a problem that makes moving app impossible without that permission and this app solved in seconds. Highly recommand this app

I internal storage was only 8 GB n i put many games that it always say insuficient space or what ever it is n i tried install on my sd card but i cant now i can download vainglory n play thanks to the maker of this

So it seems i have to choose if this app or private mode is more important to me. Luckily i made a system backup before patching some files with this app it needed to work (shows a warning and you can cancel the patching, but then this app won't work). Otherwise I'd have to do a factory reset to get the private mode back.

It is working with marshmallow now. But it always make phone stuck when open sd card even camera app. And also mess eveything. Still useless.

I get the concept but I don't get the app. How is this app supposed to save space...don't get this at all. Added source and destination paths but this app mirrors the paired folders copies them instead of moving them, so the files must remain on the internal folder in order for them to show up in the external folder. If I delete the files from internal folder, foldermount deletes them on the external folder too!?how is that helpful?!I lost music because of this trash!If only the app did what is advertised!

I don't want my phone to get bricked, if you could somehow make it for stable for Marshmallow users my phone is a SM G900T3 I just rooted it, it says that the app detects 2 troublesome modules and it wants me to reboot it, not taking the risk

The free version supports three folder mounts. All well and good. If three is all you need, you are golden. However, I needed more. I purchased "pro" (an in-app transaction rather than a separate item in the play store) and got ... nothing. emails sent to the developer periodically over the last month have not been answered.

It did more harm than good. I don't know what exactly happened but my device failed to mount the sd card after it attempted to repair my sd card

it doesn't allow to choose entire android/obb folder, stupid app, how i suppose to choose only subfolders if I can't even have cache of specific game yet (because can't install game of play market due lack of memory), what a stupid restriction!!!!

Love this app, this does the right thing for what it was built. But, in my device (GT-S7562, and Redmi 2 Prime), its coping functionality does not work!

Not many will know or want to ROOT their phones. POOR APP design. UNINSTALLED
